Probably a meme, but it doesnt help that the catch rate when youre aiming is not the actual catch rate you will get. I got them all, when I aim the ball if I get 2% it jumps up to 17% as soon as I hit.
I heard the catch rate is bugged, spending the points at the alter to get higher catch rate actually reduces it.

False. The average person seems to quit around level 35, because the game starts to fricking suck. Low catch rates, tedious crafting, having to reautomate shit... it's like all your progress just gets to a standstill. Late and end game fricking sucks, I'm not sure what they were thinking.
