They're giving kick an even larger userbase now.

Because it makes them shitloads of money. They're sanitizing things in an effort to make the site more PG friendly to keep advertising dollars high. They'll inevitably crack down on thottery as well.

Are you moronic? We're talking about the website that banned use of the word simp.

they literally go out their way to protect thottery

Twitch in the past has considered tons of content permissible and then done a complete 180. If people start complaining in a meaningful way that makes them feel like ad sponsorships are threatened then they make policy changes. A ton of the big female streamers do borderline softcore porn and it isn't sustainable for them to protect forever if laws change. Twitch will inevitably have to register as a pornographic website and require ID verification of users. They'll just ban all the thots, bikini streaming, sleeping streams, ASMR shit, RL streams, etc.

The money from user subs and donations via bits doesn't compare to sponsorships from ad partners.

It all comes back to ad money.

Because there was a threshold and Twitch was waiting for them to cross it before banning it.
That threshold was how much money Twitch was getting, and they crossed below it.

Mark my words, as soon as Twitch drops Prime Gaming(ludwig, pointcrow and moistcritikal hinted that its costing 100+ million per year), Amazon will drop it like a red headed step child and sell that shit off for $45 billion to some Chinese company. Then the website slowly dies a whimper.

Anyone old enough to remember the shit that went down with MySpace can see eerily similar things happening with Twitch, aggressive unblockable ads being a red flag.

Once amazon game studios finally close shop (they canned another round of employees just a few months ago) Twitch will follow not far behind. The whole reason for grabbing Twitch was getting their video hosting infrastructure (IVS) and a foothold into gaming was a bonus for them and that bonus is done for.

AWS has been stagnating for a while and that is Amazon's golden goose right now. If those frickers aren't doing that well financially, can't imagine how much worse Twitch is in.

Gambling should be illegal. It destroys economy by allowing money to be made of you the thin air while producing absolutely nothing. Even if you don't care about morons being scammed all that money is just going to be used against you same as with usury. You can see how much damage is just israelites and their banks doing. Do you really need more of that.

Thats what the Federal Reserve does, thats what speculative indexes do, gambling however does not. Gambling is a direct exchange between the players and the house.
