fine. basically. I'm a femboy...in my heart. I already have a femboyish/twinkish body. But the problem, and this is a REAL problem that not enough people understand. Is that you don't actually pick your identity, atleast not as much as I used to think before I did some introspection.
Basically: consciously I want to be a femboy, but subconsciously, I can't. Because my brain is broken. When I look at my body in the mirror, I have enough hips, enough of a butt, enough of a small waist to be a femboy, but at the end of the day, my body is still one of a males, and when I see my body, and see more feminine bodies, whether it's from femboys, or trans women, or cis women, I get incredibly self conscious and in a bad mood because my body isn't feminine "enough". I start to pick apart at my body and hate myself.
It took me a VERY long time to realize this, because I could have sworn I'm a femboy and that's all I want to be, but I get elated when my body looks more feminine, and down when it looks masculine. Sometimes when I see other femboys, I almost cry at the fact that I can't be like them because my brain won't let me be satisfied with that look and body. I don't want to be a woman, but my brain does, and I HAVE to consider that, because otherwise, my thoughts will torment me for not being enough.
I don't know exactly that I'm "trans" since I've talked to some trans people and their experiences don't exactly match mine, and they think I'm weird or mega repressed.

The moment a person says "I'm a man but I wear makeup and have long hair, so I'm transgender" he's implicitly agreeing with the idea that men can't have long hair or wear makeup. It reinforces those stereotypes onto people like me and forces us to fight twice as hard against the stigmas that society has placed on us. The world only becomes a better place for LGB and gender non-conforming people when we instead collectively say "I am a man and I like having long hair and wearing makeup, and that's okay because men are allowed to do those things too".

fine. basically. I'm a femboy...in my heart. I already have a femboyish/twinkish body. But the problem, and this is a REAL problem that not enough people understand. Is that you don't actually pick your identity, atleast not as much as I used to think before I did some introspection.
Basically: consciously I want to be a femboy, but subconsciously, I can't. Because my brain is broken. When I look at my body in the mirror, I have enough hips, enough of a butt, enough of a small waist to be a femboy, but at the end of the day, my body is still one of a males, and when I see my body, and see more feminine bodies, whether it's from femboys, or trans women, or cis women, I get incredibly self conscious and in a bad mood because my body isn't feminine "enough". I start to pick apart at my body and hate myself.
It took me a VERY long time to realize this, because I could have sworn I'm a femboy and that's all I want to be, but I get elated when my body looks more feminine, and down when it looks masculine. Sometimes when I see other femboys, I almost cry at the fact that I can't be like them because my brain won't let me be satisfied with that look and body. I don't want to be a woman, but my brain does, and I HAVE to consider that, because otherwise, my thoughts will torment me for not being enough.
I don't know exactly that I'm "trans" since I've talked to some trans people and their experiences don't exactly match mine, and they think I'm weird or mega repressed.

It's only possible to tear down racist and sexist stereotypes by contradicting them directly. When you attempt to sidestep them, you just "other" yourself and prove them right. The moment a person says "I'm a man but I wear makeup and have long hair, so I'm transgender" he's implicitly agreeing with the idea that men can't have long hair or wear makeup. It reinforces those stereotypes onto people like me and forces us to fight twice as hard against the stigmas that society has placed on us. The world only becomes a better place for LGB and gender non-conforming people when we instead collectively say "I am a man and I like having long hair and wearing makeup, and that's okay because men are allowed to do those things too".
