I've done the foolish grind on many games, before I decided that enough is enough. The most recent example I can think of is Vampire Survivors. To unlock every passive it takes a long grind to get the necessary gold. I already know the game inside out, I know how to win every single stage first try with every character, there is no longer challenge to playing it.
I kept grinding the gold stage as Christine for at least ~50 times until I called quits and cheated in the gold to get all the upgrades.
I got the upgrades that I would've eventually gotten if I did the map a hundred more times, there would've been absolutely zero reason to perform such grind and it would've made me hate the game. This type of monotonous, repetitive shit to pad out the runtime is not good design. To same extent, HoloCure does this too. If you're good enough at the game, you've pretty much seen all the content within 10-15 hours, but the game pads it with the FarmVille / fishing minigame that gets you gold fast, but is incredibly monotonous and not challening at all, just waiting for timers.

I'm surprised this is the first I'm hearing of a game being able to detect mods for other games and then ban people for it. You'd think this issue would have been discovered on launch, given how many people have installations for Skyrim, New Vegas, emulators/roms, etc.
One of the permissions programs have in Windows is the ability to read other active programs no kernel anti-cheat required. League of Legends had a thing where any program with 'Cheat Engine' in the title/preview pane would auto crash the game. Even just opening a notepad file and naming it "San Andreas Cheat Engine" or whatever would flag it.

I have cheat engine for Elden Ring, Borderlands 2 and Minecraft and I have never been banned playing Destiny 2 while using it in other games. So he's likely lying, or he tried to do something he shouldn't have and ate shit for it.

This has happened before in Destiny and Bungie ended up coming back with a bunch of receipts proving that they were using cheats.

Say what you will about Destiny 2, but Prophecy dungeon is some of the best first person shooter gameplay out there ever made.
Filled with fun puzzles and tough fights, trying to crack this fight with a friend was incredibly fun and rewarding. The game needs more like it.
Some dungeons are quite fun as well, but I feel like the raids are overly complicated, especially when there's more people.
Deep Stone Crypt was difficult but really fun, got Eyes of Tomorrow on my first try and abused the frick out of it in Gambit.
