>But will the Pokemon we get from trading with them have anything special to make it worthwhile?
What's special about the majority of the in-game trades of common Pokémon, moron?
Probably just trainer OTs for sperg collectors. I am interested to see if they actually upgrade their teams so it acts as a proper rematch system like in Platinum or whatever.
Probably just because it’s fun to say “I have Katy’s Ursaring.”
It’d be funny though if they use the mons you trade them on rematch, so you can slowly trade them a team to practice against/a load of shitmons.
If they put special marks on them for it or something, sure
Otherwise. Who the frick hasn't completed their pokedex by now?
The Unova games actually had stuff like that, interestingly. Not the shitmon part, but being able to battle against people who you traded pokemon to during the course of the main game, post-game.
- They'll definitely have the Tera type they used in the Gym battle
- Skimming video of them, it seems the Pokemon are only going to be in Poke Balls
- They'll likely have good IVs, at least 3 max or they'll have them maxed out
- Maybe they'll put a ribbon or mark on them, I feel this would be unlikely however.
in fairness that's usually what dlc is regardless of the game in question
turd freak is just slow to catch up
>take content out >re-sell content as third version
The only difference is Game Freak accepted only the addicted and kids bought the rehash, while the entire market bought one of the paired versions on handhelds. Small wonder as soon as they gain entry to an ecosytstem where they can add significant-sized patches and DLC content, they binned the rehash versions and started using the time they'd waste re-texturing the entire map (to make it look different from base) before then, to actually start putting together the new content (as they'd only have planned it out, with the intent to work on it post-sending SV gold0.
Why are they advertising Indigo Disk so much when Teal Mask isn't even out yet? Are they not confident Teal Mask can hold the attention of the playerbase for long enough or something?
I remember old /vp/ digging up an old Masuda interview where he described that the devs back from Yellow didn't want to give away Machamp for free and thus made it a point to just give random garbage on trades.
However during Gold and Silver's development the team skipped Dark Cave so Satoshi added a npc that will trade the player an Onix while Morimoto added Dunsparce as a rare Pokemon to encourage players to explore that cave.
wow a shitmon
awesome

.. they WILL upgrade their teams.. right?
>yfw they literally let you swap out their entire team after being them for six times
>force everyone to have a team of six Magikarp and Sunkern
Maybe they could know special moves or be regional variants or something. Or have special ribbons.
Probably just because it’s fun to say “I have Katy’s Ursaring.”

Don’t care, I love collecting overall useless pokemon just because i’ll remember them
Let me see:
- They'll definitely have the Tera type they used in the Gym battle

Probably a mark, and that's it.
I know this probably won't be the case, but imagine if they ask you to trade them a paradox pokemon so they can use it against you in their rematch
So?
Idk, just thought it would be a cool concept, people besides you using paradox mons
>Take content out
>Disguise it as new content for dlc
Glad these dogshit devs aren't getting my money every again
in fairness that's usually what dlc is regardless of the game in question

They could be how we get the rest of the regional varaiants like in lgpe and swsh
There aren't any regional forms that are bug-type.
Probably not, it'd just be a neat thing like trading with Brock, Steven, Surge or Jasmine in HGSS

The release dates aren't that far apart.
I'd wager that it's because Teal Mask is more story-focused, while Indigo Disk is mostly gameplay.
>Part 2: The Indigo Disk
>Part 2: The Indigo Disk
>Part 2: The Indigo Disk
>Part 2: The Indigo Disk
Something tells me part 1 is a wet fart.
what I need is to trade body fluid with her
I-indigo???????
KAAAAAAAANTOOOOOOO
>Last content of the game
>Get literal shitmons as rewards
Also the fact You can only rematch them in the second dlc means they're gonna get jackshit development in the dlcs
RIP to that anons that liked Katy
Sometimes I feel I'm the only guy that liked Kofu
I hope they give him a kingler or crawdaunt in his updated team

Knowing this it is a miracle we got Bouncee destroyer of worlds in SM and Cha in usum
>Knowing this it is a miracle we got Bouncee destroyer of worlds in SM and Cha in usum
Who?
Bouncee is an adamant bounsweet you get in broklet hill for a lilipup, has decent IVs and it's quite a powerhouse in-game
Turns out that a fast leveling tsareena is ridiculous in SM
>trade with them
>they start using the ones you gave them
>can create fully customized npc teams
