I come from Ganker and /misc/ ..sometimes I go on here when banned from other boards. This is the second time I come here and see this game trashed here. I don't know much about the whole video game culture shit but this right here is one hell of a game. I played this once back in 06 when my brother's friend let us borrow it for a night..yep a single night... didn't forget about the game all those years despite only playing it for about two hours that night. Past few years I've been going back and playing some games I played when I was growing up and playing some games I never played due to reasons...I played this last year properly and beat the whole game. One of the best experiences I had playing a game. I think this is just some kid who didn't grow up when the entertainment industry was at its peak taking out his aggressions due to missing out.

The controls and camera take getting used to but they're great. The camera is in the perfect spot to read enemies.

Easy and to a lesser extent Normal allow you to be a bit freeform. You can have a wacky combo, lean hard on sidesteps, use meme attacks like granny smacker, challenge big groups, etc.
Between enemies being at turbo speed, countering 100% of the time when able, and doing 30% of your health minimum on each strike Hard demands you play optimally and safely. If you aren't duck-cancelling every guard-break and keeping aggro to a minimum and abusing launches and juggles whenever possible you're going to get completely fricked even on the first stage.
I recently saw a streamer try to go from a normal run where he never hit level 3 straight to hard mode.
Stage 1 took 6 hours and nearly 400 continues.

Yep, there's five moves built into your kit at all times and they're all absurdly useful
Triangle while ducking is a sweep that's amazing for counterhitting and tripping enemies doing long high combos (like the kung fu dudes)
Forward+Triangle in front of an enemy on the ground is a chargeable heel kick that pops them up
Triangle after that heel kick is another kick that knocks them high up into a juggle state
Back+triangle when an enemy is juggled high is shoryuken
Forward+triangle when an enemy is juggled high is a jumping roundhouse
