I was making a point about how a work desktop is just powerful enough to play the games I want to at half the price.
Considering how a GPU can be more than two grand, no shit. Of course memelearning workstations more expensive still
$1000 gets you jack fricking shit in gaming. $1000 is about right for office PC.
That's what I did. 5700g ryzen so using integrated gpu. Still runs 90% of games I want to play and very nice for anything programming and work related. 8 core is fast.
Doesen't that mean there are games you'd want to play but can't? IT-sector salaries should be well enough for a GPU that could handle 100% of your games. Afterall why even work if you can't find fullfillment

Yeah I tried Alan Wake but didn't work. Dyson sphere program also too low fps to enjoy. Played most games I wanted before like Crash and Spyro when I had gpu so got my fun there. Very few other games now I'd even want.
