This has to be the biggest win from the shitstorm that is gpu market

Shit will go than as a classic for sure, like the 1060/RX580 did
>Shit will go than
It's 3AM and I'm still awake, give me a break
no. 3am is not an excuse. If you worked and feeling exhausted, you must go sleep. If you weren't working, staying up to 3am while playing videyah or jerking off to some bullshit incorrectly is the easiest thing in the world.
>feeling exhausted
I bought RX6700XT in May for new PC build and in most games I play it barely reach 60C and thus rarely even turn on fans. The performance is amazing.
> I play it barely reach 60C and thus rarely even turn on fans. The performance is amazing.
This is pretty insane
Bought one for Starfield and this little shit doesn't hit 60c ever
Insane compared to my old gpu, 2080S
Same but 5700XT. Handles 1440p/high like a champ.
>I only run decade old games and it still can those
No shit
My Sapphire 5600 XT has done me a good service. I replaced it with MSI 6700 XT awhile back and this fricker has coil whine for some reason. Next card I'm gonna buy will be a Sapphire.
>£450 3 years ago.
You either the master of the deal, or you're bullshitting me. There is no way on God's green Earth you bagged such deal. I've only just purchased one 2nd hand in July for £420.
GPU's were pretty cheap before the covid/crypto homosexualry. You shouldn't have listened to waitgays.
It retailed for like $650 in the US -- And the UK always get the shaft when it comes to PC component pricing. Assuming the UK pricing was actually in line with its US counterpart, with the addition of VAT we're looking at around £600. Maybe you dodged paying VAT, but it doesn't matter -- because it still would have been fairly more than £450.
Yeah and crypto mining price increases started long before 3 years ago. It's now obvious you're lying.
Weren't those GPU's already expensive at that point? To get it at around that price you had to be lucky to grab one directly from AMD.com.
I grabbed a 5700xt for under 350 bucks. That price almost doubled during the shortage.
I bought this used for $140. overclocked and undervolted and it doesn't go beyond 60c which is pretty sweet. shit memory to OC though.
just checked my ebuyer order, 469 quid.
its still a good deal, Im playing cyberpunk on 100 fps highest settings native 1440p
Well fair dos, then. That's a fricking steal. I kneel.
>450 3 years ago
Bought this for 400 this month
I have a 6750xt and an old 1080p60hz monitor, the GPU is barely breaking a sweat. Should I invest into a high refresh 1080p or 1440p monitor?
Sure, go for it. If you don't play too much AAA shit you can even go for a 144Hz 1440p monitor.
I play mostly single player games. Don't care much for western AAA garbage. Like, I bought armored core and it runs like a beast. Though I play it with a 60hz lock because 120fps introduced screen tearing which I hate.
Funnily enough, the only game which made me dial back some settings was read dead 2, it went bellow 60 in some areas on ultra.
But it's weird you got screen tearing, though I suppose there's little point to playing in 120hz on a 60hz screen.
Anyway, go for an upgrade. Monitors should be pretty cheap by now. Where I'm from the money I spent buying my current 1080p/144hz screen three years ago can now afford a 1440p/170hz.
Definitely. What kind of games do you play? I'd assume the GPU would peak 60fps 1440p in more modern AAA titles.
For reference I play on 1080p and run No Man's Sky on 60fps (fans starts to make noise on 144fps) and Dying Light on 144fps (fans run like idle).
>saves the thumbnail
Lmao figures a graphicscuck would be this stupid. Meanwhile my 970 runs Starfield just fine lol you fricktards think graphics have really advanced enough to need a new GPU? Raytracing is pure cope and an admission from the industry that it can't progress actual graphics in any meaningful way.
>970 runs Starfield
What are you playing in. 480p native up scaled to 720p.
1080p
Ignore these fricks, 95% of cases they are poorgays and 5% baiting. I get shitting on overpriced 800+ gpus but unironically thinking that a £450 gpu every 5 years is bad makes you literally moronic. DRXD4
You're stuck in the 90s, moron boomer. Graphics aren't improving so why would anyone need a new GPU? I'm still playing new AAA games despite the 'recommended' specs which tells you that shit is all a grift and you got played.
You are playing them on pisslow settings.
I tried cyberpunk and then starfield on a 980, moron.
You are a poorgay. The fact that you think that £450 every 5 years is too much says just enough, poorgay. I am literally playing everything on native 1440p 100+ fps on ultra. I have been for the last 3 years and I will be for the next 2-3. You are a poorgay.
>b-but low settings
who cares lol, basically looks the same anyway
1080p, Black person. Cope and seethe, you got played.
>You are a poorgay.
>You are a poorgay.
Nice thumbnail
Is this yet another daily thinly veiled hate on 4090 threads?
just bought a 3060. its good enough.
Arriving today. I'm ready for my AI porn.
>didnt buy a 79xtx cheap when they dipped to 700usd
shit
guess ill wait another year or two and get one used for 300
>not so thinly veiled ayymd shillinh thread
That's actually a bad thing about. Not really a win at all that there's been no price per performance progress in the GPU market.
Thing anon*
that hasnt been a think since 2013-2019
RX 6000 and RTX 3000 were both major upgrades over their predecessors.
Do you need something to put under these heavy ass gpus to support them from breaking mb?
>couldn't handle halo infinite or starfield
still can't really see a reason to upgrade. it ran Hogwarts and dead island 2 fine. what's a good 1080p card for current year slop?
it can if you don't mind 30-40 fps, and if you have freesync with monitor overdrive, honestly it's fine even with m/kb.
Polaris truly was and still is a god-tier arch.
>RX 580
If I can't play it, it's likely not worth playing.
