If you are deadset on not getting a PC, you might as well get the slim. I doubt the Pro will be that much of a jump in tech, any games coming out on the PS5 will still focus on the base model since thats what a majority of PS5 owners will have. Any minor increase in fidelity probably isn't worth waiting a year, when you could just start enjoying whatever you want to play now. My suggestions would be Demon's Souls, DMC5, Returnal, God of War Ragnarok (on sale), Baldurs Gate 3, and Elden Ring
