PS2 emulation doesn't work flawlessly anywhere. But you get good performance in most games. Unfortunately PCXS2 has a lot of inherent input lag no matter the platform. I notice a huge difference when emulating GC/DC in input delay.
Series X is also great value if you have physical 360 discs. Gamepass in general is fantastic value.

I have like all consoles including VR shit. I mainly use my PC. There are no UI problems whatsoever, windows takes care of it all for you, it's pretty moron proof. There's also no "Bluetooth latency" that is any worse than what's on console.
The only reason I don't use my PC as a TV and sofa setup is it would look autist when family come over, and I don't really wanna hog the TV all day when my gf could be playing Vidya or watching something.
The experience itself though, works perfectly, and you probably just don't know what you are doing.
I barely touch my series X and PS5 and regret buying them. There's just no reason to spend the amount of money games cost on them when I can get steam keys so dirt cheap.
The backwards compatibility on series X is nowhere near as great as people claim too. Tried fable anniversary, and it ran and looked like shit. Played it on pc instead, all settings maxed, high Res, high FPS, much better experience.

Series X is kind of waste of money if you already have a good PC for current gen gaming. But a cheap SeS fills some living room functions that IMO justify its very low cost and fairly decent performance (all games are 1080p+ at 60 fps)
