BDSP is a poorly implemented mess, it had access to the entire code of DP, it had gold to work with and still managed to frick it up. It was literally unplayable on release and needed muh patches to fix it, and it’s still a nonfunctional mess even with those. It has every single garbage feature of nu pokemon except for shiny locks. HM removal, 1/4096 shiny odds, casualization, all of the "quality of life" garbage they added to pander to trannies and instagram prostitutes. Contests have become shit, underground has become shit, ball capsules are worse, the game corner was replaced by troony garbage.
BDSP is a mess and anyone defending it or calling it even close to being better than the originals is part of the reason why the new games are trash.

You've never played Platinum. Anyone who has would know the increased surf speed was the best thing Platinum did. Legitimately one of the only times I can think of where GF said "wow, we really fricked up on that the first time" and actually fixed it in the "enhanced" version. Increased distribution and bigger dex were also welcome improvements.
This. If GF has to use old regions as filler toward the end of a gen, they should make a game like legends, as in a new presentation of an old setting, not another legends game.
