No, only morons who are only interested in a game because they want to be part of the community think they can be. At worst a game that gets continuous support can be made worse by an influx of new people steering it in a bad direction, or a sequel could be made worse for the same reason, but even that doesn't happen often. If it's just something like MGR having gotten a recent resurgence in popularity it's irrelevant to the quality of the game itself. MGR getting popular on TikTok didn't transform it into a different game, and if you ever liked the game on its own merits instead of just enjoying the memes surrounding it then you have no reason to no longer like it because of its recent popularity.
