I know my limits, and my limit is Saltbaker on Expert. It took me a while to beat him with any weapon and charm, so I know it will be hard as frick with Peashooter only. I'll still do it eventually.
Peashooter + Spread + Coffee is just ol reliable for me. I know people here jerk off roundabout and charge but I always come back to that combo no matter what (and occasionally replace one of them with lobber for even more damage)

There’s only 5 bosses. Took me 2 hours to finish. Gameplay was the same, animations were nicer though. Because of my OCD, I 100%ed the game, then played the DLC.

use crackshot or converge, dash through the bear with smoke bomb if you have to and when the geese come, go to the far edge of the platform and drop down to the bottom and go to the other side while firing while avoiding the spikes, which will also clear the platform of all gnomes. If you use converge, you might want to drop down occasionally to clear out some gnomes.
EX moves are better damage over time, Supers are better for burst damage like if you want to end a phase early, they also have i-frames
For example: The Super 1 beam does 72.5 damage, EX peashooter shots do 25 damage if it hits all three ticks. So you exceed the damage of the Super with only 3 bars instead of 5. But that's if you can hit them all, it's much easier to hit a single Super.

Use homing and you can pretty much exclusively focus on dodging. Keep your eyes on the fire.

I don't know how the frick you could beat Saltbaker without iframes. It's crazy to me that Cuphead has no iframes in his default moveset.
