As I haven't played games like Ghost of Sushi, spoderman, or death stranding, there're a lot of appealing games on the new PS+ service for me.
I have no doubt it'll go the same way as gamepass and lose the appealing games, but for now it's pretty good. It's just in its honeymoon phase.
The streaming option is also really good, I hope they expand it outwards. In essence it allows you to try before you download. I wouldn't recommend playing games fully through streaming, but at least you can get an instant feel for whether or not it's something you wanna play.

Nier was in GP for 2 years and yes they removed it by now. The reason why I did ask for examples because it is actually a good way to make someone think about what is he saying. You might have seen a few game in plus with DLCs and you assume all those games have dlcs. Well Plus is exactly copying Game Pass except the day 1 titles and this means DLCs are big part of the business. You get the game for free and the DLCs cost a lot.
As for the honeymoon phase I know what is that like. Suddenly hundreds of games and a bunch you wanted to play! This is why Game Pass got a good reputation. It is like you get free games every two weeks. It depends on you if you become salty when you don't get something you want eventually or not. In my case I have such a backlog just from Game Pass I don't care if I don't want to play something from a bi-weekly drop.
As for MLB it is a big deal for murricans and a big deal because it was a PS exclusive. 21 launched in Game Pass and only went away when 22 came. I find the Sony logo at the start amusing on my Xbox.
