>can someone help me find an mmo that isn't bad
They're all bad.
You just have to find the one that has bad qualities which rub you the least wrong.
Only way to do that is to just try them out.
Okay, so, FFXIV. It's good. Does it have flaws? Certainly. Weirdos, shitty people, grindy content at the beginning.
BUT
It's free from download to the end of the second expac (Heavansward) and up to lvl 60. So you get to play a huge chunk of the game. Whats better is if you don't like people, they're currently working through nd making almost all MP content playable with (relatively smart) NPC's. Loads of transmog (called glam in game.) Builds are simple. Theres no "oh I found the ight gear piece but it doesn't have my stats" because each piece of gear is set (so every piece of "Shiny Dragon Armor" you find will have the same stats as every other piece of the same name)
The story, while simple at the get go, gets more and more incredible with every expac and every patch.
Devs listen.
Loads of events in game.
Music is BANGING
You can do literally every job/crafting/gathering thing on one character
IT can be a grind sometimes, but it's not nearly as horrible as other MMO's.
Loads of community help (youtube, reddit, discord, in game mentors, Novice Network, etc)
I've never played an MMO in my life, and I'm so fricking tired of standard RPG combat that I don't even bother playing; I just watch playthroughs on YT. Why should I bother?
ive only ever played one mmo i liked and it was nothing but grinding. because it was just grinding people were forced to come up with ways to have fun to keep from going insane. it was the funnest game because of this.
mechanics are shit, you just want to group grind for eternity, such an mmo will give you a good time
wizard101 has minimal grinding because you use basic adult critical thinking and deck building to make the kill quests faster. Do it smart and you only have to one short (5-10 seconds) fight against each trash mob.
Ultima Online. Back in the day it was the best game ever made for 3-4 years. It was so cool that I'm not even going to tell you about it. Why live without 97-02 UO?
>mmo that isn't bad or too grindy
There isn't one. If you're russian play Lineage. World of Tanks. If not then Path of Exile or WoWRP servers
They're all bad now.
No such thing.
The point of mmo's is to be grindy.
ff14 is pretty good if you are a troony or pedophile (ideally both).
All mmo's are timers that lead to more waiting that lead to more timers.

>mmo
>that isn't bad
choose one
I heard good things about LOTRO
ESO is ok
D&DO has a lot of content you don't have to pay for and the tutorial campaign is pretty fun
Only good one currently is gw2 and even that has problems.
>t. played all the big ones
FFXIV is the good one.
>can someone help me find an mmo
What aspects of MMO are most important for you? Why do you want to play MMO instead of single player game?

IF you've got some time, at least give it a try.

troony.
Patrician.

Ultima Online
>too grindy and boring for me
Why do you want to play an MMO, then? Anyway, try FFXIV or Guild Wars 2.
