I really liked how full of life Kanto felt in HGSS.
GSC were always great and all but Kanto obviously felt quite skimpy, so seeing that they revived almost every dungeon, upgraded the gyms, and added a bunch more trainers to each area was quite the pleasant discovery. And that's not even mentioning how, graphically speaking, it's likely the best version of Kanto we'll ever get.

Never played HGSS or FRLG - I only owned the original Blue, Yellow, Silver and Crystal. Where, exactly, is that supposed to be? The only place I can think of that had a pool was the Cerulean City Gym, which that clearly is not a picture of. Or did they changed the layout for the remakes?
