Can we safely assume that the switch will be forgotten about in 2023? By then all of the attention will be on the current gen titans as stock starts to ease out and become more available.
Add to the fact that the 4k systems both have fantastic lineups for next year with most titles skipping nintendo altogether.
no i believe

swith games run like shit on steamdeck
Every switch game runs better on Steam Deck now. There aren't even any glitches anymore, Yuzu has 100% switch emulation ability now
Stop stirring up shit homosexual. You own neither devices
actually statistically speaking, every deck owner is also a switch owner
Switch for first party games, Tengo Project games, and 2D games that look good on the OLED. Deck for everything else. It is a good life.

>Can we safely assume that the switch will be forgotten about in 2023?
I think you should safely assume whatever helps you cope
Considering the MK8 DLC is scheduled to end by the end of 2023, it suggests Nintendo will be supporting the Switch at least though then, so no, next year will probably still have plenty of Switch games.
People are still buying them. The lockdowns starting right when Animal Crossing exploded sales and since now everyone has one there's more free marketing as other people want to buy one to join the club. They are affordable, available and have bing bing wahoo. It's a good console for normalgays.
>People are still buying them.
No, not really. They only reason it keeps coming out "on top" of charts is because of how severe the stock issues are for the other platforms. Switch is the only system that isn't affected by shortages and easy to buy, so even if it sells a bit then it's more than practically nothing.
Don't fall under the illusion that the Switch is selling insane numbers.
massive cope
>the sales don't count because I said so
Ok
>fantastic lineups for next year
???
Forspoken
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Dragons Dogma 2
Starfield
Street Fighter 6
Suicide Squad
Spider-Man 2
Dead Space Remake
Payday 3
Alan Wake 2
Final Fantasy XVI
Gotham Knights
only 4 games on that list won't be a tax write off
All shit except zelda, starfield and re4 remake.
>starfield
>not shit
Only Spiderman 2 and FF16 wont immediately come to PC
BOTW2 and Starfield will dominate all discussion next year. no other games will really matter.
>Can we safely assume that the switch will be forgotten about in 2023?
No. People like Nintendo a lot and don't really recognize quality problems until they've seen the otherside. So while I find its ports to be shit and most of its lineup good but not the best examples in their series, most don't care.
Personally mine gathers a bit of dust because its too weak for TV and too big to be portable. Ended up playing a chinese handheld emulator more since its major hits I can play on PC. Its my holiday Mario Kart machine these days. Damn good Mario Kart tho.
>Add to the fact that the 4k systems both have fantastic lineups for next year with most titles skipping nintendo altogether.
Speaking of once you've seen the other side of things. Calling these things the 4k systems is a stretch. They don't play well either, which I find surprising as they really should by now. Xbox gave up in gen 8 and Sony seems to finally be following with dual PC releases. It is time to join the PC side of things and play stuff with frame rates that are smooth.
>30/30
>PS5: Still has no games
>SeX: Still has no games
>Deck: Still has no retailers
>Switch: Still has games, even more games coming down the pipeline, and a retailer
No?
This time. This time for sure Nintendo will slink off into irrelevance. It hasn't happened any time since they entered the video games industry but this time, This time is certainly the time.
