I hope you don't mind leveling up s l o w l y, that campaign caps at level 20 and lasts over 100 hours if you try to do everything. And you usually end chapter 1 of 4 at level 10.

I saw the gay orc portrait (thought it was original from the game) and didn't even look at the rest of the game

It's obviously from enpozzed edition just from the vaselined UI alone. Picrel is original. The average modern gamer now asks for lemustard before even considering trying the original. Excellent Pavlovian conditioning from the industry.

No, it's one of the mods that make UI colorful. EE only adds UI scaling for modern screens, which is automatically better than every single "bigger fonts" mod I tried.

No that looks pretty much exactly like pre-EE NWN at 800x600 with the Stylish GUI mod because the game was made for ants at literally any other resolution. Why act moronic?

I am almost 40 and didn't play computer games until recently, but have played D&D at a table with real people. But I have always heard about the Neverwinter PC game, just didn't know what it looked like.

Nwn "fan" here. There's some long in depth review of this franchise on israelitetube that's worth a look. It's multiple hours long. However I can tell you are either some shithead or worse a complete moron who never touched these games.

They're almost all universally awful and what merits they do have are completely undermined by two condemned things, the first is Atari wotc and every other hasisraelite style snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by making the game a not open source and b not letting anyone monetize it on their own merits like actual d&d.

The second is the awful community that was enshrined around the game. The worst servers with the worst people. It really is just an awful community in terms of its playerbase. The most draconian grognarded idiots combined simultaneously with furry munchkin erpers. The only good thing about this game was the mood but even that was half baked.

It's ugly as sin, especially if your module uses only vanilla tilesets (though some of the modules, like Prophet, are genuinely beautiful). And most of the game mechanics are incredibly clunky and buggy.
It does work better than NWN2, but the more you play the more annoying shit you're going to find.

We get it, you're a zoomer. That doesn't mean you're people or that your opinion is worth anything. Daily reminder that when it was made, NWN was one of the most expensive games ever made by man, with a whole new engine designed off the back of the Baldur's Gate one, whole new systems for lighting, rendering and 3D interaction, and it was so popular that it even became a meme in Japan as the pinnacle of Western CRPGs at the time.

It still holds up pretty well. Most of the persistent communities are full of grogs as

this Anon claims, but that's not really a bad thing since they're all that's left of the actual human D&D community and not all the zoom zooms who came in with 5e and COVID. If your D&D setting isn't unabashedly racist, its not D&D.

Why are zoomers coming here and complain? V is for them and vrpg is for us
