I don't think platinum matters much here, the PLA protagonist defeats and captures four gods including Arceus just to complete the game. Platinum has no mandatory legendary captures, and the one legendary you are forced to fight has the lowest catch rate in the series

Those are badges for beating titans, "dominant pokemon" in japanese like the ones from Alola (localized as totem), and the Star commanders are literally stronger than the gym leaders, those are legit achievements

It does not. OP is referring to the 'badges' you get from Team Star and the Titan Pokémon. The other Elite Four is the BB league crew and the champions are Geta, Nemona and presumably Kieran.
Kitakai is indeed an IoA, though lorewise likely a seperate 'region' that isn't part of Paldea.
Kitakami and Blueberry Academy are explicitly said to be outside Paldea. Kitakami is a small region north of Kanto
