its not a case of being unfinished, thats not what cuts are, its a problem of scope, youd also throw a fit if games took 15 years to complete due to adding and finishing every throwaway plan or idea. theres a timetable until release and if something cant be completely finished adequately on time then its scrapped. there is alays cut content, how much there is, is irrelevant to whether the game is in a finished state by release. Youre conflating two similar but not connected things

Not really. I mean 15 years is an exaggeration, but if it's true that RDR2 development started immediately after 1 released, then it's just 5 years more.
The thing about RDR2 is that it goes beyond the usual cut things. You can tell there's entire chunks of the game missing.

New Austin was clearly added in much later in development. The beta map for RDR2 ended with West Elizabeth, and the river blocking the way over to New Austin for John (because he can't swim).
Bruh I've been listening to Old West outlaw biographies recently and one thing I can tell you is that everyone was whoring like crazy during that time.
They could’ve made this funny with witty one liners about Arthur’s wiener in the bath the women make for him and he shoots them down in his aww shucks way. Rockstar has absolute no sense of humor in this game besides Lenny which is just a GTA V mission in RDR2 for some reason.
The two main characters are supposedly in a relationship with each other so I highly doubt prostitutes will be in GTA VI.

It’s an easy answer to this. Arthur is 30 some years old. He’s gotten too old to have one night stands, he wants to marry and feel genuine love. His days of banging anyone are over because he’s done that too many times that it doesn’t make him feel excited anymore. Arthur has done that so many times that he got to develop standards. And Mary Linton’s storyline is the other reason. It’s obvious that he still loved her and she still loved him. If Arthur could bang prostitutes on the side while this storyline was on, it would be a disconnect.

This was my main issue with the game. The rival “gangs” are less like gangs and feel like entire militaries. You kill like two hundred O’Driscoll’s throughout the story and they never seem to be any less of a problem. Same fro the gangs like the Murphee’s and the Skinner’s. At least the confederate militia guys have an excuse that they’re like a legitimate private army, but everyone else feels just as powerful.

Also npcs in a single player and online are really not that interactive. Its hard to care about strong part of the game, like hunting, when other parts of the game are weak. Really, its not even a good sandbox game, its just big. And its very restrictive, ie sex, interaction with npcs, being a bad outlaw, interacting with other players.
If someone comes up to you and decides to start shooting you in freeroam while you're busy, you can go into passive mode, which just makes you unable to shoot at all and they can still abuse auto aim to keep killing you. It's baffling why they put shit like this in.

And Mary Linton’s storyline is the other reason. It’s obvious that he still loved her and she still loved him. This was my main issue with the game. The rival “gangs” are less like gangs and feel like entire militaries. You kill like two hundred O’Driscoll’s throughout the story and they never seem to be any less of a problem. Same fro the gangs like the Murphee’s and the Skinner’s. At least the confederate militia guys have an excuse that they’re like a legitimate private army, but everyone else feels just as powerful.

Why they completely ignored sex in this game? I have 120h+ in a single player and around 150+ online and it feels like a wasted potential.
Also npcs in a single player and online are really not that interactive. Its hard to care about strong part of the game, like hunting, when other parts of the game are weak. Really, its not even a good sandbox game, its just big. And its very restrictive, ie sex, interaction with npcs, being a bad outlaw, interacting with other players.
