I want to replay Aria of sorrow but I’m not sure if I should play it on my 3DS again or my switch. I have stock joycons and I’ve been putting off modding it to a D-Pad
I think Julius should get at least two games. He's the final Belmont and everyone thinks 1999 is too big to fit into one game, so why not split it up?
One showing him on his way to Dracula's castle, when something sabotages his way there and forces him to travel on foot. This could be a Classicvania.
Another game of him in the castle and going toe to toe with Drac. This would probably be a Metroidvania.
Yep. If Castlevania did get another game I think it's more likely they'd do a reboot like Lords of Shadow.
I feel like it's because of the DS, look how many people are talking about Bloodstained
If they release a proper castlevania on steam, a lot of people'd buy it
>Indie studios with a budget of $20 and case of ramen can shit out 2d metroidvanias by the dozen and turn a profit, proven to still be a money making genre >Hollow Knight/Silksong so popular people are still waiting for the sequel even years after the announcement despite it being a new IP >No new metroidvania from Konami despite their game series being literally in the name
Why are they like this
No one in these Castlevania threads talk about the classic style games, only discussion about Metroidvania type of games.
I guess it's true that people don't like the classic style anymore, even though i am disappointed but i can't blame Konami for ditching it.
I just don't think there is much to discuss in them
I really enjoyed them, and heck, i might actually preffere Rondo over Symphony but i cannot deny that Symphony has more stuff to discuss.
God I wish Harmony of Despair was more popular. It wasn't a bad game, it was just too short and repetetive after a few runs. There is a junky unity PC port but no one plays it. If anyone wants to try, we can make a Ganker room in it and try a game.
yeah and none of them are all that good. He's the only major Belmont who can't be pinned down to one particular look but at least he has multiple designs. I feel like most of the Belmonts are stuck with Kojima's samey effeminate pale faced art style since there isn't a lot of artwork for characters like Leon and Juste so they're just clones of Alucard for the most part. We can at least see what Trevor would like in a bunch of different styles.
looks cool man, good job
keep at it bro
Nice skills anon, just try practicing more anatomy.
It transported me back in time, thought I was on Newgrounds again with the gays and queers.
Did Konami do anything for Castlevania 35th?
Sold some NFTs.
Sold some jpeg nfts while telling the idiots buying them that they don't own them and can't show them to anybody as it's copyrighted.

the advance collection is pretty decent if you can get it on sale but otherwise just play it on your 3DS
>every protagonist
soul
Looks great, I love it, bro, very anime
reminds me of Chase (starting at around 30 seconds)
?t=32
Loved the metroid 35th annimation (get it)
virus samus creeped me out
you know what was missing? that du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du theme at the end, this one
emulate
why couldn't Iga just make the Julius game, OoE was fine, but the most interesting storyline in the franchise not having a game is a shame

Sure you did Drafstman Roski.
even has reinhardt , carrie and Cornell
kudos to the creator
>Did Konami do anything for Castlevania 35th?
do you even need to ask?
New game when
When someone gets the rights off Konami's israeli hands
Hopefully never. Let it die. It was good while it lasted.
>It was good while it lasted.
Up to a certain point. Its legacy is already pretty heavily tainted.
Hey, we got more good games than bad. That's better than most ip's that are still alive.
SOUL
Very nice anon.

even if a new castlevania is made. you gotta hope it gets devs that give a shit about it
it's kinda funny how the new bomberman seems to care less about the series history while bombergirl puts more homages to it's history in it
just konami things

I liked 4, and have yet to play the richter game. I can get it on WiiU which is nice
>and have yet to play the richter game
Rondo Of Blood? that's a very good one.
>CV3 will always be my fav. too much nostalgia there
mine too, no nostalgia here.

also. not much left to discuss without new stuff
at least have the balls to admit you're shilling Black person
just say "hey Ganker I did cool castlevania thing"
gay
I agree, I like when people are just upfront about stuff they work on. Speaking of, here's a cover I did from Aria of Sorrow:
I'm currently working on a cover of Battle of the Holy from The Adventure. It's going well.
JONATHAN!

which castlevania game needs a remake the most?
Simon's Quest
castlevania 64

I hate how whoever made this used the shitty Kojima design for Trevor. It also just looks unfinished.
trevor has some weird designs
yeah and none of them are all that good. He's the only major Belmont who can't be pinned down to one particular look but at least he has multiple designs. smash at least used old school simon
but with an ugly design and combat cross instead of the vampire killer
Come on, it's just a handle. It's nice.
>they're just clones of Alucard for the most part
I feel like they're more clones of SOTN Richter.
Which does make sense, since they're all related to each other. Sucks we never got a Kojima Christopher.
The Pinnacle and bloodlines are still the best songs.
I'm playing through the gb castlevanias and I'm surprised they never made one for gbc. They're pretty darn good.
They have, actually, it's called Castlevania: Legends.
That's Gameboy isn't it?
Legends is GBC. The Adventure 1 and 2 are GB.
Now that eceleb made a video defending CV64 what's the consensus?
