That's taking it a bit far, but it's true that BF2 players WAY overestimate what that game was actually like. I won't say some things weren't lost going to BC2 and forward, but more was gained in its place.

a damn tragedy this entire line of tech has stagnated. it wasn't perfect but it was damn impressive. the ideal for me would be a mix of The Finals and R6S destruction. most games that attempt it usually only pick one style.
We don't get good games like this anymore because the industry is flooded with subhumans and women. Gaming will never be great again until it returns to being a predominantly white male industry.

This type of destruction only works on a small-scale game like BC2, it wouldn't work on a traditional BF at all because it would ruin the infantry gameplay even further and it would heavily favor vehicle players instead.

Why did they have to attach "Battlefield" to Bad Company? Now it would be impossible to make a new Bad Company game with less than 64 players, or even 128 players now that BF2042 increased the player count, because morons think that higher number = better and lower number = downgrade.

Favorite FPS mp game for me, sucks that they are shutting down the servers.
Servers should shut down already so the community can host a bc2hub type website like bf2 has where you can play with other people on dedicated servers
