Despite the visuals it plays very good like a goldeneye/perfect dark game with mouse control
how do you figure? the first level seems to involve no stealthiness at all, i looked around the whole map and it seems you are forced to just enter the room and be attacked by amorphous blob dogs and then shot at by amorphous enemies, what the frick am i even supposed to do?
loved goldeneye, and perfect dark played the shit out of both those games

to elaborate it's really hard to tell if something went wrong with the install since the whole game visually looks like corrupted doom wads

yeah I can see how it would be hard to tell between broken graphics and just aesthetic slop lol. Enjoy the game, get the grappendix, invest in the market early (whichever company is the cruelty squad stock in particular is good), DIVINE LIGHT SEVERED, etc

Yes, it's a real game. It's a stealth FPS like Deus Ex, whatever we're calling that genre nowadays. Except stealth is useless because like I said, map design isn't great and it's not very balanced so it's all combat. Some describe it as 3D Hotline Miami and I think that's a fair description. I think it's worth the full $30 but it can be easily pirated. Honestly, I'd do it anyway to make sure it runs ok on your PC since it's not very optimized. Might have something to do with the engine, bud this is my first Godot game so I have no other reference.

if you don't play a game for over 2 hours steam will automatically refund you if requested, just say it doesn't run on your computer
avante garde fps. It's a game with a strong internal logic that can take some time to "get", then it settles into a mechanically nice game. When you get past the vomit on top and the good game mechanics, you're left with a lot of questions about the world and it's writing. Overall it's one of the best games to come out this decade. I played through it and found it pretty damn good. If you're too moronic (or more accurately not autistic enough) to figure it out on your own, I think this guy did a good job talking about the game if you can stomach video essays.

Always go back to Cruelty Squad HQ after clearing each new mission, to see what's changed and to talk to civilians with new dialogue
Always try to talk to your non-hostile and non-panicking targets before you kill them
Talk to civilians more than once until they have no new dialogue

Clearing a level on Punishment Mode the first time gives you back Divine Light. This is only for 3 special doors in the entire game, only two of which matter
Punishment Mode makes you take double damage, but you earn double money on mission clear
Kick corpses to gib them and loot their organs, or eat them on Power in Misery to instagib them. There are rare organ loot in the game, so keep that in mind
When the targeting reticule becomes a hand, that is an interactable. Useful to pick up organs among giblets, spot guns and secret door panels, and so on
Enemies can and will hear you even through walls. Crouching and using silenced weapons can and will help for stealth
When you open up the stocks menu with TAB, the menu can glitch and show you a previous stock instead. Always click different entries on opening the stocks menu to make it fix itself
Every augment has a use, even the memey seemingly-useless ones. Don't be afraid to experiment with different augments and weapon loadouts, both to keep things from getting stale and to try out what the game has to offer
Some stocks change drastically after clearing certain missions. Check the stocks menu often
Underestimate the kick at your own risk
