I stumbled across it many years ago on /f/ and I couldn't believe how fun, beautiful, compelling and well crafted a free tiny flash game could be. I really haven't played anything that made me feel that way for a long time now. It was a special experience, really goes to show how all it takes to make something good is just getting the simple things right, also fantastic soundtrack.

Yeah it's basically Ikachan with cave story weapons and level design. In my opinion it just doesn't really work. I hope he releases a prototype of the second version that had a human protagonist+platformer sections
