any attempt at mainstream Slaanesh would be awful, they'd have to censor it so much there'd be no point in even trying to represent them for a general audience. Tzeentch is the last, but arguably hardest because you have to have good writers for a good Tzeentch plot

Tzeentch is easily the most understandable chaos god ironically enough.
Most won't understand wanting to fight forever for no reason, or getting fucked with a barbwire bat to make your balls tingle, or wanting to joyously half melt with leprotic AIDS, but wanting shit to go your way or having a fuck ton of space magic is something people would easily fall for.

Overall I like the idea of the empire getting its shit back together, however complaints that this kinda goes against the theme of the series are valid.
They are just giving them a little leg up, the rest of the galaxy also has become more grim than a few editions ago, the Imperium is split in two, Tyranids and Necron are stomping everything, Chaos is still wanking themselves over splitting the galaxy in two.

He’s the most marketable. Khorne is ultraviolence, blood, skulls ( China ). Nurgle is obvious, Slaanesh is obvious.
They've already done a ton of Khorne and Nurgle. They switch out what god they're doing every couple years, and it's just bird boy's turn. Slaanesh is obvious though yeah.
