I played around with it but I was more focused on gibbing cyborgs than taking screenshots. I did find something funny though. Try starting photo mode after you've activated a security monitor. If you do it right you can teleport to where the camera is when you stop photo mode. This isn't very useful and in some maps it can leave you trapped in a room that Shelly was never intended to enter, but it's funny.

Cultic resembles Blood in some respects, but the tone especially is different. The player character is a clear-cut good guy and the music is more uplifting and heroic.

Almost entirely nostalgia. I had a lot of fun playing it with my brother and sister and laughing at all the redneck jokes. Plus the soundtrack was awesome and the weapons all felt great. Enemies variety and level design were horrible I can admit but it's still a comfy playthrough for me.

I want to say that while it sure have stuff to fix, it's not that bad, and I'm happy for the dev team because they sure did grow artistically, like tenfold, compared to Bombshell and Rise of the Triade remake.
Phantom Fury really needs to take all the feedback they got from the demo to heart, and go out to get their shit together, even if it causes multiple long delays.
I wasn't impressed with Cultic's first demo either, but the dev seemed to really take all the feedback to heart, and thus Chapter 1 absolutely delivered on all fronts when it came out one year and a half later.
I think I'm on the last chapter of the expansion.
Then I'm going to play the campaign again with the rearranging enemies thing and that's it.
Overall, I found the DLC satisfactory, but I really hope the guys now finish the game once and for all and don't spend another 3 or 4 years on another DLC or some shit like that.
Leave eduke3D aside and go make a game in a modern engine with the same artwork, please.
You really don't get the situation. "Voidpoint" is essentially a bunch of eduke modders who all have day jobs and work on Shelly content in their free time. They miiiight get absorbed in some other team eventually, but I really doubt they're going to learn essentially an entirely new engine etc. They just like doing Build engine shit.

i picked up this game and the dlc, i've been enjoying it a lot more than i thought i would. lots of really autistic secrets to look for, it's kinda fun.
I'm afraid Last Terminator won't be able to survive the hype. The game is too simplistic, there's nothing going on in the demo, you're basically doing target practice with goofy as frick enemies. There's no depth to the combat.
I like how Aftershock fixed the enemy encounter with alternative versions of previous foes and throwing all of them to you at the same time, but this only happens in the first zones and the later levels feel... Normal. I was expecting a last surprise after the spooky town but it didn't happen.
Voidpoint sucks at endings.
