It just gets lumped in with the other Future games.
People are hard on those because they sanded down the edge from the PS2 era. Some fans feel that made the series what it was.
i played through the original trilogy recently on ps3. idk what's stopping them bringing all these old, hd collection games to modern hardware. there's so many of them too. resistance, killzone, sly cooper, infamous. just all left stranded on ps3

Most people didn’t even know the Jak games were on PS4. They were only done as preorder bonuses for Uncharted at first. Also doesn’t help that the ports are somehow worse then the PS3 ones
Second verse same as the first. People literally didn’t know those games were out. Midievil got some coverage in the state of play, but it was quickly glossed over and received no advertising from Sony. I believe the same happened with Wipeout
why would you ever expect remasters and ports to get heavy advertising? you cant just use that as an excuse for every flop, some trailers at a state of play type event and a blog post is what most games get

Ratchet and Clank’s remake was given a ton of press coverage. Even with the critical failure of the movie, the game was shown off by Sony when it came to showing off new games to buy. Simply giving stuff like Midievil and Wipeout more exposure would’ve done wonders
find ONE reason as to why they shouldnt remake the original trilogy (and deadlocked)
the story and gameplay should remain exactly the same but graphics should be updated to reflect rift apart
they should also possibly add cut content

why lie homosexual? he said the exact opposite. Sony suggested to cut people from the Ratchet and Wolverine team, these are the guys in North Carolina. Ted Price, The guy in charge at Insomniac, said that they were too important and offered up 70+ people from the Spider-Man team instead, said that cutting the lowest performers from their California studio would have no tangible effect on the output.
I miss when people used to be able to make games like this. Just games made by a bunch of dudes who love the game and aren't making something that's based on greed or market research or heavily controlled by higher ups. They weren't trying to chase trends. They just had an idea for a game and went at it.
I wouldn't say the ratchet games are hard or require a lot out of you but they're enjoyable adventure games with some half decent humor and unique worlds with great music. Making games are as accessible as ever and yet indie games often are just trying to copy games that came before or chase some current trend to try and make a lot of money or whatever. It's fricking sad man. Rarely have games that feel like true passion projects.
