The animation is really good but why are they biting the SF meme effects ? It has nothing to do with the original game. Since dimps is at the forefront of the development of the street fighter games I feel that Fatal Fury's spirit is in the SF series rather than these games which are SNK in name only.
This case is more them working off the feel Real Bout had. Big effects, colourful stages, big characters, etc. Garou turned it down a bit but still had stuff like huge super flashes. However it might sound weird, but I think XIV kind of scared them off the old style. XV is the better looking game, yet they SF4'd the game's style cause it was easier to get right. So everyone got chunkier and things got and more cartoony. Easier to animate and some flaws stand out less. SNK's old style is hard in 3D, its semi-realism but not to the same degree Tekken is. So it requires more skill/money than they have but also risks looking uncanny.
I'm confused about which of his moves has break now. It used to be the DP, but now this shows both it and shippu having shorter versions. Maybe they split the horizontal kick and upwards knee versions.
It's been confirmed that characters will have multiple break moves and most won't have them be the same ones they had in Garou 1. Check some gameplay footage from the current playable builds and you'll see it especially with Tizoc and Rock
I'm mostly happy with how KOFXV is. While I'd love a season 3, more dev time going to CotW is definitely better. Still mad that Krizalid leak was fake though.
I wouldn't mind a patch that smoothed out the top tiers and gave the handful of straight up useless characters something. But I'm happy enough with the balance as is that I'd hate to see it ruined.
>I remember going home while making RB2 and talking with Oda about wanting to make a karateka with a pompadour. I wanted to make Marco for MOTW, but due to development circumstances I ended up in charge of Rock and Jenny. Looking back, I'm glad that soesoe made it. By the way, soesoe is also in charge of the production of COTW.

That's because the KoF games are a separate continuity that mashes up all the games with some story changes. In the main Art of Fighting/Fatal Fury timeline the AoF games takes place in the 70s then the Fatal Fury games in the 90s and Geese definitively dies in 3, but in KoF the two series happen much closer to each other and Geese never died, but was still a deadbeat dad that let Terry adopt his kid
What are the chances of Armor of Mars and Rhodes people from the movie being a plot point in this game or future MOTW? I mean it's not any more weird than the majority of post Nests KOF
His name is and always shall be Butt.
"Butt" is not a Brazilian name, it is in fact, not a name at all
Khushnood Bunda
Bunda Rodriguez
Rodrigues now.
What about "Butz"?
I thought Ganker hated localization? shouldn't you gays love Marco in all regions now
SNK hasn't made a good game in 20 years.
Don't care, Marco was always a better name even if Butt is funny. He looks peak and will prob be my main if they don't add a boxer. We're back.
Franco Bash bros it's our time.
I was thinking either Rick Strowd or the paperboy they had for the scrapped MOTW 2.
He barely has any moves!
>SNK made a better lookin game than Street Fighter
What year is this?
1992?

Still scaled back from XIII.
god kof13 ikari team looks like shit
I wonder what's the ratio for MOTW and non-MOTW characters they'll include in the game. Hope Yamazaki and Raiden's in.
I want Hon Fu, Kim and the Jin twins

need that trailer

looks good kind of sad to hear nothing about kof 15 season 3 though but i guess that just means they can just throw all of their energy into this

Marco is pure soul.
The character is awesome but i always hated that stupid name with "Butt".
Yuri runs a fitness club now.
Man it has nice Animations that KOFXIV and XIII had. I bet the inputs are solid with not much delay. God i can not wait.
i dont know the name of the band snk keeps getting to make their themes but they're always really enjoyable
it's their own in-house sound team and yeah, they fricking rock.
i looked and they got steven mcnair from kando bando for the lyrics but still it's really good, just has the right amount of early 2000's cheesiness
It hurts my soul that this game is gonna have a tiny playerbase
>people complain about the state of modern fighting games
>still keep giving the top main offenders money
>Climbing wall has arcade buttons and neogeo logo faces
soul
Also Yuri would be 48 by this point in the timeline. I want hag Yuri
SNK timeline is so confusing. Yuri would be hag in FF by now, meanwhile we had barely legal Yuri fighting MotW Terry in KOF 2003 and XI.

I like to imagine that geese got south town's CPS on his ass in the kof timeline
