Every day I find it harder and harder to argue against islams treatment of gays.
That perspective makes me think of my grandpa I see sometimes and we spent time together this Christmas, and we could discuss politcs and society a bit. He's a complete shut-in since his children's deaths (my dad and my uncle) so there's an aspect of trauma to his personality, so he wasn't always like this. He never goes out of the house and hasn't gone for a walk or just the most minor errand for the last 20 years. He says he's a proud reactionary, he is literally phobic of muslims, blacks, foreigners, strangers, and everything unpredictable. My grandma is fricking fed up with his shit, we all think he's schizoid or something like this.
So he's a lost cause at 83 years old but he's proud of being like this, just like I think you guys are proud of being reactionary at like 30 years old. And all I can say as a normal non-woke non-conservative guy is it's funny when we have you face-to-face in a casual setting and when we can drop facts at you. It's hard to do it online because you can always hide behind a screen, so I'm not trying to argue politics or anything here.
