there are sections of new menus that have zero keyboard hotkeys, and worse; zero ways to setup hotkeys for those new menu sections.
this means it's either 100% mouse, resulting in RSI to the wrist, or you constantly switch between keyboard and mouse, which is moronic.
the game is unironically fricked, and will continue to be until it can be 100% keyboard again.

I recommend sticking with 47.05 until someone makes a mod to restore the old UI, if that's even possible

I'm not sure when this happened, but my 1 gripe is that you cant mark creatures to be hunted or attacked through the unit menu you have to select them in the overworld.

only if they are above a certain size and on the bridge when you try to raise or lower it. Then the bridge gets deconstructed
It's the same game except one is free and the other has premium graphicset + ost (also free if you know where to look)

Classic, and by that I mean DF 47,5 vers. I am NOT playing with a mouse, and you can’t force me to.
Tarn said that Adventure mode will be fully playable with a keyboard, so maybe you won't need to be forced.
