Honestly I don't particularly mind. I don't play pc CoD nor spend money on cosmetics but I wouldn't mind using a 40k skin in games I do play. And if it wasn't simply a skin it would be even better
It's probably because they had to try and get the already ridiculous spess muhreen power armor proportions to work with their modern army man skeleton. No way they're making a whole new animation rig for one skin.
