Am I missing something? This tag doesn't sound like any of the original stories, mentioned in the new chapter between the ones for Toshizoh and Zeo. Its certainly not one of the actual series so far either.
Lelouch's Birthday coming up soon, and both games have streams set up for it.
For Genesic Re;Code, I'm expecting a couple things. For one, we'll probably hear about next Observation stuff since they're complete on TV and Akito. Oz most likely.
We might see this announced as a new storyline and characters.
Beyond those two guesses who knows.
Lost Stories is harder to guess. They're not done with season 1, and we don't know what kind of future events to expect. Season 1 probably has at least 3-4 chapters left.
I expect Lost to add in Akito, Oz and Lancelot & Guren characters eventually, but don't know if that time is now.

This thing looks like a discount VARIS Rifle Lancelot, overall all protagonist's KMFs have been looking pretty cool so far. A shame that Sougetsu got abandoned right after its debut though.

We don't know if the protagonists would even come back to the Black Knights directly since it looks like the Pendulum would be the final upgrade. Unless it's only meant to be their last KMF in the first season and we get a brand new OP when R2 kicks in.
For people doing the KMF Raid, after doing it enough times, if you want to grind points for rewards, I recommend the 6th stage of it. The difficulty of it is easy enough that you can do it without struggling while yielding enough points. For my team at least, it just takes a lot of effort on 7 and up that it just seemed better to do a quicker one.
Forgot to mention, for units I'd recommend, Anya is probably the best to bring since Mordred being a float typegives her flexibility to placement on open spaces.
The original Kallen unit is still the best Rook type in the game, and you can place her next to the track so that she'll strike as it passes and still block your blue zone.
Those are my main 2, though Zero Lelouch also helps.
I hope they make the next boss less annoying to deal with. This doesn't even feel like a boss fight and more like squashing a mosquito that keeps flying out of your field of vision.

On the contrary, I think they probably will. They'll probably use the Sutherland again on Kyushu after which the Euphinator incident happens and there's no way they're sticking with Britannia after that, so they'll get the Pendulum or back with Sougetsu if it's R2 material.

What I try to do is position my ranged fighter so that they can hit them while they go for a melee unit.
If you have Anya, her special is also long enough that you can reach the Gloucester with it, so activate her special only when going for those in such cases.
I wish Lost Stories would spam sexy costumes like Re code.

Bismarc is too costly to be useful. Same with galahad, but galahad has huge skill multiplier so it's useful for raid.
Protagonist became one of Suzaku's subordinate knights after he got promoted to Knight of the Round.
Though it's unsure if this is a spoiler for R2 event or not.

He might join with Suzaku between season 1 and R2. We won't know until we finish season 1.
Maybe he gets Geass'd like Lelouch by Charles, maybe something else happens like he doesn't like what happened to Euphemia.
Dam, Monika got nerfed hard in arena, she doesn't active her stealth anymore.
Stats wise they are the strongest melee pilot/KMF in game, but their cost is way too high when you pair them together, so they only shines in those unlimited cost challenges or raid battle. Galahad is still a very strong KMF when you give it a cheaper pilot.

it seems to have the same format as the Knight of the Round event, so all of them will be added as permanent characters, and Shen Hu will be the event reward.
H.orange is the mvp of this arena round. Basically just spam skill with ranged kmfs. No ground kmf.

I wouldn't say that entirely, they've had CF as a category since launch, and Tianzi's model was datamined at launch too. They clearly never intended to wait until R2 for these character and the Rounds.
That said, it depends on how much that decrease has gone down is accounted for.
A shame that the absolutely moronic management really dragged the game down, especially with the big initial hype it got and they completely blew it off.

I dunno about that.
Its not been talked about much, but theres been placeholder categories for the Rounds and Chinese Federation since launch, since they had filter categories right away. Moreover, a site that ripped the launch assets showed Tianzi had a placeholder model in there. They obviously planned to release these characters earlier than the timeline would allow.
That said, these events have had tons of references to side stories, like name dropping characters from Oz, Akito and Lancelot & Guren. I would be shocked if none of these characters don't get in eventually.
Just when I finally manage to clear Stage 6 of th event expedition 2nd difficulty, Stage 7 just kicks me down
This event feels much more bullshit than the Halloween, feel like they really punish you for not having Anya/Mordred to deal with these stupid multi direction helicopter spams. Lost half of my team on stage 6 because of that shit.

I thought the map couldnt get any worse than the usual no ranged map. Now it's a no ranged map, except with helicopter enemies. Basically imposible to clear because I dont have ranged flying kmf. I got a lot of florence & lancelot club but palomides keep avoiding me.
Palomides is useless against helicopters spam since its range is way too short. These maps designs are fricking moronic since they just assumed that everyone would have at least 2 Mordreds in their team.
You can gather the helis at the right side with melee bait. Although you need to stealth the flying kmf or use h.orange bomb.
Its not even that they're trying to incentivize pulling for the new units, but specifically built around having Mordreds.
Now, my Anya is maxed. She is too good not to upgrade. And I maxed my Mordred too because its so good. But I only have 1 of it since I only pulled on of her.
They really should hold off on stuff like this until at least next month when Gawain is added. Having only one flying KMF with good long range makes this stage unbearable and I'm just gonna stick to Hard difficulty for this event.
This game really needs more original KMF if they're gonna do this stuff.

Hard to tell how well this game does because there's a lot of people playing the DMM version, but yeah there's a lot complaints and b***hing about the game management, they basically have zero communication with the playerbase, even when there were a bunch of game breaking bugs but they never bothered to explain them on their twitter, and the event difficulty is usually way too overturned for a lot of casual players.
My problem maxing out character and machine need lots of resources while stages and stamina are limited

Since the protagonists we will get for this upcoming half anniversary is the Black Knight version, I wonder if they will slowly release all their versions through the story progression for free, or they have the nerve to put them as gacha characters later.
They're probably gonna be added in the gacha, because expecting to uncap them with just generic lockets is ridiculous.
As for the other versions, they can add them as mission rewards for clearing chapters so new players aren't completely fricked out of gibs.
Unless they just give you enough protagonist upgrades with it. The Protagonist is gonna be a free gift and reward for completing the prologue from now on, so it would make sense to give their upgrades free too.

Whats also crazy to think is we could get a Britannian army Protagonist and other versions.
The fact that the Protagonist was such a highly demanded unit by players, to me, speaks to how well they've done with their character.
Hope there will be enough demand for them to release a more offensive version of Sougetsu. I like the poor thing, but sadly it just doesn't work well with protagonist's blood thirsty skill set.

Speaking of these, wonder if they're gonna add in the Glaston Knights on the next couple banners. Claudio already showed up in the story and their Gloucester customs are already in the game.
Going forward, other than Gawain, its hard to pinpoint what we'll get from now until season 1 concludes. Lancelot Air is the only other remaining KMF from season 1, but they seem to try to go by outfit rather than just updating a character.
There should be Cecile with Sutherland Air, and whatever they plan to do with Siegfried.

The Gekkas are the last Japanese KMF we get in season 1, and there aren't really a lot of them in season 2 either, meanwhile there will be ton of Britannian KMFs, especially when they begin to dig into Oz and stuff.

I heard Anya and Gino are pretty good (especially Anya) but they're permanent characters so I'd focus more on getting limited characters when rerolling
I'd recommend Kallens. The Rook for being the best blocker and coming with her Glasgow, the Queen one for coming with her Guren, and the Knight one for being strong. But I'm a Kallengay, so I would recommend her no matter what
For 3 stars, Jeremiah, Villetta and Darlton are really good to have.

I don't know if tutorial roll has been updated. If not you'll want to get suzaku+another 4*, probably kallen or cornelia. Although mvs lancelot is already powercreeped, varis is still the best single target ranged kmf.
For limited, rakshata is the best. The other 3 aren't that good for newbie.
For permanent banner, mordred, tristan & tohdo gekka should be the best. Keep in mind that mordred & tristan have higher cost.
For non kmf unit, school kallen is the only recommended.

Man, this new Expedition was a pain. Not looking forward to trying to clear the Extra difficulty. Might wait until I finish strengthening Accomplice C.C. and a few other characters so I have a deeper roster, or for the Gawain
That helicopters coming from 4 sides is just too hard for me so ended up going back to normal.
The main problem with Extra difficulty is it really feels like you need a deep roster. Not just of pilots but of good KMF. Even if you have a lot of good pilots, if you don't have enough good KMF upgraded, you'll probably struggle.
This expedition hard mode is easily as hard as last expedition expert mode. I have no idea why they keep ramming up the game difficulty in such absurd way, this just makes people want to quit rather than whaling to beat the game.
Extra 3 is already annoying with unblockable bosses from 2 lanes

Since this game got stuck in the development hell for a while, they probably finished recording most of the voice lines for main story beforehand. A shame though since they seemed to give Dalton got a lot of focus in the game story.

He seems like a worse version of 2* Rakshata. Worse cost reduction, and his atk buff isn't mapwide. Usually there's no room for atk buffers. Might see some use in raid.

If you have multiple Mordreds. stage 8 is the best one to grind points with
lv10 is easy if you have h. lelouch. Suzaku just stopped & doing nothing while you spam skills at 2x speed.

Having only 2 worthwhile materials to exchange in the whole shop is a pretty crappy deal overall, especially for a mode that you have to manual everyday, Even if they want to be stingy buttholes and don't want to give people free tickets, they could at least put those melee and range chip materials in the shop so the whole KMF upgrade progress would be less a pain in the ass.
Upgrade materials in general are the biggest bottleneck in this game. I want to finish upgrading my Protagonist but lack enough Guns right now, and I still want to max out Tianzi. Meanwhile, I need Masks for Accomplice C.C. and Todoh.
And thats before even touching the Knightmares

For this event Challenge stage, Kallen and Protagonist make such a huge difference on the Ashford team.
This challenge is easier than the usual challenge events, but having someone who can actually kill shit in melee range is such a huge improvement for Ashford team.

okay so i've played mega casually for about 3 weeks and have come to like the game more than i thought i would despite not being the biggest code geass fan ever. wondering what to work on from here on out? been kinda just winging it by applying the same strats that i did in arknights as a noob. i put out gilbert and jeremiah first and then andreas kills mostly everything with palomides it's been working so far but i'm sure it's going to fall off hard at some point. pretty sure i got most if not all the 2* pilots so i left some of them out of the pic.
You might wanna invest on some melee queens because Guilford is pretty weak in my experience and Jeremiah's main use is to deploy and retreat immediately instead of staying to fight.
The MC is a good choice even if you don't have their personal mechs yet. C.C. works as a subtank because she can block up to 3 enemies with the Lancelot. Her defense is not as good as actual tanks though so keep an eye on her.
I see the 1*s in your team are leveled and I sure hope you didn't use your exp chips for that. Invest on Milly to replace Inoue because she gives an ATK boost and reduces the cost for Ashford pilots (Lelouch, Suzaku, MC, Kallen, and herself). Work on Kewell if you have him because he and Viletta will be your standard AA pilots.
Oh, and if you have some double drop radars, you might wanna use them on the weekends because the drops from the exp chip missions are doubled and then do the hardest mission if you can.
Now here's some pilots I suggest you work on once you're done with the above.

Kallen does what Jeremiah does while also filling half of your units' skill gauge on deployment.
>3* SUZAK
Tank that hits a bit harder than Tohdoh and can block up to 6 enemies in Lancelot (he'll die while doing this). You'll eventually want more tanks as the map gets wider and you have more routes to block.
>2* Diethard
The only guy in the game (other than limited halloween Lelouch) that gives Stealth to your units. homosexuals with rifles and bazookas who stops just outside your unit's LOS to shoot them will be forced to come closer.
>3* Lelouch
Stuns everyone in his LOS for a few seconds. Really good, but I'm too smoothbrain to use Kings and I managed to finish the main story without him.
Some quick recommendations because I'm running out of space. These guys are lower

Put orange on melee Sutherland or cheap kmf. The idea is to deploy orange (and school kallen) then retreat to generate cost. You can further boost the efficiency by deploying rakshata to cut the cd if you have spare slot. Generally you want to raise 2 cost generators, 2 tanks, 2 melee dps, 2 ranged dps, 2 healer.

What's with expedition stage 6 and un damaged hidden enemies?
You can kill them, they just have shit load of HP so you have to unload 2-3 KMS to nuke them.
They're pushing Christmas Kallen and Suzaku. The intended use is to deploy them to trigger the damage on deploy from Suzaku or the "Pull" from Kallen.
In stage 7, I used Guren and Spugetsu guards since they deal fixed damage, and set a Zero Lelouch in Gawain in a position where it can turn and nuke from one path to the other.
Another thing that helps is putting down a gefjun block in front of the blocker to give you more time to attack them. Once the 3 of them are gone, withdraw it and put it in front of the next.
Oh the expedition extra is pretty easy compared to previous event. No boss and only 40 enemies max
What team did you use? How did you deal with the Stealth enemies without event units?
The arena map this week is really annoying. They really want to push gawain& air lancelot hard.
I have x.kallen, although it should be doable with x.nunally, you can leak 4 enemies. I mostly use s.cc & h.lelouch + 3-4 melees. The stage 1-7 aren't too different with the hard ones. Stage 8 is standard melee only, pretty easy. Stage 9 is probably the hardest if you don't have good ranged characters & flying kmfs. Gawain is great here. Stage 10 is push/pull gimmick. Probably need 3-4 of them.
Compared to previous Expeditions, if you have Kallen, since the whole thing seems built around her gimmick, things really do become easier with her as she just pulls enemies to their doomj

Well, Benio is almost certainly appearing during the SAZ massacre. Other than that, feels kinda jarring that they didn't put much effort into the other four. Or how Todoh and Chiba wear their pilot suits for no reason.

So anyone try Extra difficulty on the Expedition yet?
This is probably not feasible for most, but almost this exact team has carried me through stages 1-9 of this expedition's Extra difficulty. The only difference between stages is the Protagonist KMF is sometimes Sougetsu when blocking solo, Sutherland Custom spear when behind Kallen in a single lane stage, and VARIS in stages that require another ranged.
The reason its probably not feasible for most is...well, you can see most of these characters are maxed out, I have both event banner characters, and the KMF selection has high upgrade levels and multiple KMF that come with 4 star characters.
That said, NY Kaguya really helps with deploying Lelouch with that cost reduction. The Lelouch that comes with Gawain is also very good with his anti-Aircraft skill because some stages send A LOT, so every bit of survivability helps, and his other skill helps generate special quicker, and you will be firing that special often. Honestly, this one motivated me to start building a second Gawain, because Gawain is way better for offense here than Mordred, mainly because of its Special attack being wider is much preferable to the single line of Mordred. Also given that NY Kallen and Kaguya both have cost reduction for Lelouch units, the expedition definitely expects you to bring at least one Lelouch. Dunno if Halloween Lelouch is better, since I opted for this one.
I'm a big fan of Kallen, so she is always by preferred blocker. You can probably substitute Xingke for any suitable offensive character. Lihua is probably the best support right now, though NY Kaguya is close in my opinion. Protagonist is solid in pretty much any role, as I mentioned I swapped what they were doing. Jeremiah and Ashford Kallen were deployed and immediately withdrawn multiple times a stage..
Now, I said this team carried through 9 stages but not 10 because the final stage looks like this and will require its own stage specific strategy and team build.
Also forgot to mention, the only reason I run Rakshata is because of the Black Knight cost reduction. I though about running Zero C.C. for some of that but opted for Xingke simply because I wanted a character that could take out enemies on their own more frequently, because the ranged characters can't always waste time covering for her weak offensive capabilities during huge waves.
Stage 10 now completed. Swapped out Xingke for Anya, and gave her one of the weaker Mordreds (They're both at upgrade level 3 each) and put Kaguya and Lihua into Zero Burai and Disel Burai, just to change their aiming.
Kallen remained in the team but you can swap her out for anything since she was unused. Stage was actually really easy for me, which I know is likely because my units are so strong.
Deploy Kallen and Jermiah in the open area behind enemy deployment to get cost as necessary
1. Place Lelouch down facing left and immediately launch a special to get rid of all the Gloucester there. Launch special attacks almost every time it comes off of cooldown, because waves will be big (100 total enemies this stage.
2. Place Anya facing left. Since all enemies but helicopters have a bottleneck here, Modred's Special is much better.
3. Place NY C.C. facing outwards. You may need to swap aim forward and down occasionally. Lance special as necessary.
4. Get a support on stage, Kaguya or Lihua, it doesn't matter. Can substitute other supports, though Kaguya is still best option on this Expedition. Face down towards Lelouch.
5. Protagonist facing left. Launch special as necessary.
6. Place other support facing up.
This setup is pretty easy. Gawain pulls most of the work here since waves are HUGE, but Mordred is just as needed to mitigate.

Still I don't think it's very doable without the -0 bonus cost for NY characters. The rush was insane.
Honestly, maybe I shouldn't say this since I have both banner characters and several fully built characters and KMF, buts it feels like the easiest Extra Expedition yet. At least, as long as you have Gawain.
New Challenge Event announced, with a new Darlton
I've been waiting for one of these. Unlike the last time this came, each of the three categories now have enough character types to make a balanced team around. And Chinese Federation is confirmed to be part of the Black Knights.
So SAZ is next month, right? I doubt they'll finish up season 1 then, so we're probably looking at 2 more chapters of it.
I wonder who the banner character will be. Massacre Princess when we just got one for this chapter? V.V. since he should show up to speak to Suzaku? Can't think of anyone else notable. Cyborg Jeremiah seems more likely for the final chapter.
Benio is likely showing up, but I doubt she'll be on there, unless they just want to give us her early with the Burai Custom. Come to think of it. We're still waiting on Urabe and Senba, aren't we?

Yeah, A rank map sucks. Its awful without multiple Mordreds
Arena just sucks in general, range units absolutely dominate that mode, there's almost no reason to use melee units aside from cost generators since all of them will go down within 2 shots.
The only good melee unit is Kallen since she gets a big defense buff and becomes hard to kill. Monica generates stealth on herself, but it doesn't activate immediately so a lot of maps prevent her from having enough time to do so and it can wear off at inopportune times.
At least with other maps, you can use other range KMF, but the way A Rank is set up, only Mordred has a hitbox that can actually hit anything.
I wish they rotate arena map. The rank a map is just too to kill the ranged units, especially if there's h.lelouch

I beat the Ashford one using pushing Milly to deal with Katase to avoid his explosion, and Christmas Kallen to pull off several of the Holy Swords at the end, but Nunnally works too.
Zero lelouch to cut 40% hp, plus 2 skills from mc & h.lelouch.
My problem with ashford is I only have suzaku as tank. 1* rivalz couldn't survive at the top lane

Ashford for me, I have yellow dress Kallen, so its easier for me then.
Problem with this game, it can be very unforgiving with upgrades since daily quests are so hard to reliably farm, and the special upgrade mats are so sparse.

Gawain deployed face down, change to left when monica appeared. Asahina deployed at tohdo's place, replaced when luciano appeared. For black knight, replace orange with chiba 2*, deployed at cc's

Double cost for melee KMF sucks. And it sucks because I like the idea of content based around unit factions, but I've struggled due to the cost.
Wish they fix bug enemies stealth didn't come off immediately when blocked. It would make stealth challenge more manageable
They already fixed this bug. The weekly stealth challenge should be easier. Although ny.cc probably has bigger impact on this challenge.

NY C.C. was a great investment. I was more interested in Kaguya, but C.C.'s party wide heal aura has been a great help since I got her.

I don't know how they're gonna do Akito while giving the MC more than just a cameo role like Suzaku and Lel- I mean Julius. I just hope they're not dumped in an event like KoR and the chinks.
A lot of the Lost Zero arc is hard to predict since even though they advertised Lancelot & Guren as being a major part of it, the bulk of that manga takes place in R2. Benio's intro takes place during SAZ, she meets Kallen after she returns to Japan from her Oz appearance, and then joins the Black Knights after Zero returns and rescues everyone. Meanwhile, Suzaku's first chapter leads directly into his Akito appearance, then next chapter takes place after the OVAs are completed.
So maybe they plan to mix Akito the Exiled and Oz in?

Combining Stealth casting with the Cost generation of a Knight is an extremely good combo, so shes definitely someone to keep an eye out for. Especially for Black Knights teams, which lacked an equivalent to Jeremiah or Ashford Kallen until now.
Thankfully, shes a permanent character, so you don't miss out if you don't pull now.

It sucks that its happening, but I have to admit while I enjoyed the story, its gameplay sucked. Auto-battle system was boring, and the Abyss grind was awful.
I'm disappointed, but I can't say I'm entirely shocked. Looking back, the signs have probably been there for a while.
Sucks that we never got the other two original stories. Wish they would add them with the main story getting wrapped up, but that doesn't seem like its happening.

I doubt lost stories is doing amazingly. At least i'm getting my Anya's dakimakura if customs don't frick me.
It was doing amazingly for the first few weeks but the way they design contents and events absolutely fricked it over.
Those first couple of events were weird. First it was a normal grind, then in the Swimsuit one it had a weird and annoying mechanic that really discouraged skip tickets.
They failed to realize that people who picked up this game are mostly CG fans who may or may not that into TD gameplay, especially when the early events were too hard for a lot of people to clear unless they have multiple Lancelots to breeze through them.
To be fair at least, Lost Stories isn't the worst when it comes to power creep. A lot of the 2 stars and launch lineup are still very useful if you built them, so you can get by without every new unit.
Game has very shitty balance, need long time to clear challenge and hard stages and developing machines is slow.
Grind is a big problem, yeah.
Its not even just limited daily missions, its the special materials like zero masks, guns, etc. that you can only get in limited quantities. Same with KMF materials.
While character balance isn't an issue in one regard, building up those characters is.

That said, its obvious at this point that Carly trained the protagonist, which is where their KMF piloting skills come from despite supposedly having only first gotten into one in Shinjuku, and why they have the same fighting style of targeting the wienerpit.
If the little sis is still alive, its likely Carly still has her, and may have subjected her to the same training she did to the MC. In which case, we may have to fight and save her in the later part.

Next month could be anything event-wise, since there aren't any holidays gacha care about for several months. But even if its not a Kallen, she is now the character with the most alt units. And this is all before she gets the obvious R2 alts like Bunny and Guren Flight upgrade.
The first obvious hint of Kallen bias was when they made up a new outfit for the chapter focused entirely on episode 9, when they could have just as easily did Ashford Kallen then.
Story also seems to love her since she is probably the closest character to the protagonist after Lelouch.
I wonder if we will even get pilot suit C.C next chapter since they have been turning all her 4* into limited.
Its hard to say. They had Cyborg Jeremiah and Siegfried debut a chapter early, so we don't really know what to expect next month. Cecile with her Sutherland seems possible now, since I honestly struggle to think of any outfits from episode 24 and 25 that can be used besides her, so C.C. may have a chance. Other than these two, the only other character I can see is V.V., though they may wait until the Geass Order raid so he can use the Siegfried.
C.C., Guilford, Lelouch and Rakshata are in this weird position of having their alt non-story/event 4 stars all be limited, while all the others like the new Sayoko and others have them in the general pool. They seem to make the Raid and Challenge event units part of the general pool now, so she got the unfortunate end of the stick by being the first.
If I'm being honest though, I don't think we're ever getting pilot suit C.C. because she doesn't have Skill Up with the Gawain. Skill synergy seems to carry over among all versions of a character, so her lacking that points away from that to me.

The expedition is harder because of milly's gimmick. Reducing deploy limit just screw over everyone who didn't roll her. Cleared 8 with ny.cc as healer because not enough slot for 2 active healer.
What is Milly's gimmick anyway?
Valentine unit doesn't increase deployment count, so you can deploy up to 9 units in a 6 deployment limit map.

2 cost cheaper than normal Air Calvary, worse stats and no fixed damage on skill, but overall still a pretty solid range KMF you can get for free.
At least it has good range. 5 spaces is still good. Especially since its hard to invest resources to fully max out the same unit multiple times.
While its hard if you don't have an active guild, I do like these raids giving rewards like KMF.
Stage 7 Hard of the new Expedition, Halloween Lelouch and Todoh's Gekka make that stage a breeze
To elaborate, place 3 units to block your goals with the strongest unit in Todoh's Gekka and H Lelouch giving them constant stealth and nothing much can happen to them. Place a good healer right behind H Lelouch in a Mordred and none of these will go down.
How come they never released more of the og Black Knights in uniform after Ohgi, Tamaki and Diethard?
They aren't exactly popular or important and gacha games avoid bloating the pool with low rarity characters, so they got the short end of the stick. They may got 3* seasonal versions later but Lost Stories have been really wonky with character release, like we never get pilot suit Dalton or Villetta.
Oh you can skip hard expedition while still have extra active. It's easier to try clearing extra now, although extra has the same amount of rewards as hard so only stage 1-5 is required for mission rewards.
On another note, v. milly + base kallen is broken because of unlimited immortality. Tanking several bosses like it's nothing
Haven't started Extra yet since its own rewards are the same as Hard. I'll probably get to it eventually though since Zero masks and the other mats are hard to come by.

The new arena map is fricking cancerous, holy shit, especially if your opponent has Halloween Lulu. They also tripled the health for the last tower to drag the match out.
Yeah, I hate it too. Range is useless other than a Gawain special. You pretty much need stealth constantly cast on your melee units to do anything other than launch a Gawain ult, because its extremely hard to hit any range units otherwise.
I probably will downgrade myself to B or C after I empty the shop and go back to A whenever they reset it and I need to buy those KMF cubes again, the A map is simply too unfun to do everyday.
Eh it's not that bad with only 1 gawain. Not that different than last map. Start with mordred facing top, then gawain skill to left. Kill the other 2 with another ranged. Aircelot can target the farthest ranged

So how are the new units? All I really gather is that Lelouch and Suzaku reduce cost for female characters, and Lelouch gives a slight passive buff to females.
Lelouch has taunt so he's useful to draw aggro from range mobs to protect your squishy backlines, also action speed buff for all female characters sound pretty useful overall. But he doesn't have any kind of def buff or self heal so he can get mogged to dead without proper support.
Suzaku, aside from the cost reduction, doesn't sound that impressive since he's just another healer.
Suzaku might have been better if he was a melee healer.

I feel like it will probably launch on the equivalent of the Anniversary just so that it can follow the same release schedule as the Japanese version, but it feels weird for them to have announced it was happening and to still have no word on it yet.
They probably talk about it during the AnimeJapan2023 livestream on the 25th. But I highly doubt they will follow the same schedule as JP version since the early game was really miserable and didn't even have a lot of characters to roll.

Same as the last Lancelot raid, Guren will be the event reward. Though it probably loses the fixed damage bonus from its skill, which makes it worse than Sougetsu overall. At least you can max its upgrade for free.

Hard to say. The Blue Barons leader OC they made tells me that its probably main story stuff. The Blue Barons were a Britannian team that appeared in Oz Side Orpheus pursuing Kallen and Urabe to India, when Orpheus was delivering the replacement parts from Rakshata to them.
The event storylines don't have voices so far, but the cast one for Sapphire, so she is main story content.

No, the issue I'm having is with the helicopters. They get to overwhelming and its hard to make a formation that gets them all.
Stealthing mc like my pic would make it easy (+someone at the back to catch slipping enemies). Or you could try placing dps+healer on each side, although I couldn't do it with my available characters
I don't have enough Sutherland Air to recreate your team. Also haven't put any resources into either Rivalz
Only need 1 ranged flying kmf for pulling. Just stealth the bottom side with normal Sutherland. Ranged Rival is replaceable with your other strongest ranged attacker. For the 3 melee, just put your most durable unit at the top although having 3 rooks would make it easier
Finally cleared it with this team
Decided to just have Kallen tank so I just pulled all the helicopters to the other end, and regularly used Lelouch to stun enemies.
This just leaves the Britannian challenges for me.

Rolo & Vincent, Suzaku & Conquista, Kallen & Flight Enabled, Lelouch & Shinkiro, etc and we already know C.C.'s Akatsuki is planned from early commercials. And thats before you factor in all secondary characters, like Urabe, Todoh, Asahina, Chiba, Guilford, etc that get upgrades, plus Benio, Schnee and Ledo since they are being integrated into the main plot. Not all of these characters can all be fit onto story banners so it makes sense to put some onto some side events.

Nelis is pretty expensive for a knight pilot. Good thing this KMF is very cheap to compensate

Its because she reduces the cost of the next deployment after her by 20%. Unlike other Knight types, that reduce the general pool, she reduces next deployment. She also has high offensive stats compared to most other Knights.
Some good video guides I found helpful for this raid on level 10 and Extra, if one wants to get the score done. I replicated these teams for the most part.
The first one doesn't use any limited character, while the second uses the NY girls and White Day Lelouch. Melee Gawain is necessary for both though.
Melee Gawain ended up being a way better unit than I expected. Having the Special always on as long as you have the HP is so useful for Raids.

Oldrin is a rook with pretty busted stats thanks to her buff, but the way it works is kinda wonky. Grail is just another Lancelot type KMF, so nothing really special about it.
Orpheus is pretty interesting, doesn't cost deployment slot, doesn't have block and doesn't get targeted as long as he has 0 block, but he doesn't have stealth so those suicide bombers probably could damage him. Byakuen itself also has 0 block so it won't be useful for anyone other than Orpheus.

No wait, I just reread it and I think it gains 10% of those buffs for every undeployed pilot?
Yeah she gets buff for every undeployed characters, so ideally she should be deployed first to gain the buff.
The strange thing is that buff seems to count the amount of undeployed characters at the time she was deployed, so when she recasts it again, she still keeps the same stat bonuses no matter how many characters you already deployed, but if you deploy a new character around the same time she recasts it, it resets the counts and weakens her buff. I don't know if this is a bug or it's supposed to work this way.

They seem to stack but there's a limit of how much you can reduce, I think it's roughly 50% or something so you can't have literally 0 redeployment cd.

Orpheus seems like he was also designed for Byakuen's different weapons that aren't yet in the game since him being untargetable would work with putting him in a ranged KMF
Orpheus doesn't get damage from suicide bomber. Basically it's stealth powercreep to bypass stealth removal. Like previous raid extra that removes stealth immediately. Create problem then sell the solution.
Its also interesting how Orpheus doesn't require the usual higher tiered upgrade materials to raise his skill level

It could even be Arondight instead.
Trial is Marrybell's KMF so it may come with her later instead. Arondight is probably saved for anniversary event since that would give it a better spotlight than being dropped as a random KMF event reward. So it's most likely the crappy chink KMF or one of those Sutherland/ Gloucester variations that don't have a named pilots to go with them.

It is, but the Trial is made Marrybell's personal KMF, so it can be released with her
Going by the timeline, theres 3-proged Guren, but they can release that in R2 with Bunny Kallen. If they were doing more with Oz in the main storyline outside of just stuff where TV cast or protagonist is involved, theres stuff like the Guren Mk-1 or even the Somerset or Sutherland Ikaros, not to mention various variants.

Next month's chapter is probably going to feature the second Side Kallen chapter of Lancelot & Guren and do more with Benio since they already did her chapter at the SAZ. Surprised Savitri didn't show up yet while Kallen and Urabe were in India, but thats probably coming soon too.
They said R2 was supposed to begin in August, so two more Lost Zero chapters left.
If thats the case, next month will probably be when we actually get Schnee, Ledo and maybe Benio. Akito the Exiled has been skipped for now, so it won't be part of the main story. The Oz content this chapter was limited to 2 chapters and a small bit from a 3rd with Cornelia. The two main focused chapters here were specifically ones where Kallen and Suzaku show up. Obviously this is not a coincidence since Lancelot & Guren are being integrated in primarily to Lost Zero. This chapter had us being shown Suzaku is back from Europe, and these two chapters have been alluding to Schee snd Ledo being assigned to Suzaku as his subordinates. We're probably getting the next Side Suzaku chapter too.

I've got a prediction: Luciano's Gloucester from Lancelot & Guren.
Its easy to forget, but Luciano still isn't part of the general pool and the same goes for his Percival. Next month is most likely going to cover L&G's Belarus battle. And he and Gino had custom Gloucesters there, with Anya a custom Zetland. I could see any of these as the next raid.

Pretty neat that Grail swaps to its spare swords if you active its KMF.
Don't have the normal Gloucester since it's only available in paid gem shop.
