I wonder if they could award pilots as part of as raid. It would be interesting if they gave us the original characters like Sapphire when they inevitably do the Bluer Baron Gloucester next.
These kind of games would survive fine as long as the operation cost doesn't go into the red, unless you are under direct management of big buttholes like SE. At least it should live long enough for them to finish R2, then I don't know what they are even going to do with it afterward.

I like the protagonist, so they're always a unit I put on my material priority list alongside Lelouch, Kallen, etc. But if we get more free lockets for them, I don't want to waste generic lockets.
Also, if you're curious, the new Awakening levels are different for everyone. Kallen here got more defense and offense power, while my next one, the old Zero Lelouch, gets reduction to his relocation timer
Odysseus is probably around the wedding episode with Tianzi, other 2 didn't really have any presence in the story so I guess they can drop them whenever they want to pad that month story gacha.
Kallen is now a strong queen pretending to be a rook, Suzaku is slightly more powerful (more so as ranged) and gives you more cost, Cornelia has her survivability increased and her cost decreased by 2, and her assault rifle Gloucester increases the ATK and DEF of both equipments up to 70. I'd say C.C. gets the short end of the stick, but that depends on how feel about her shield.

Yeah no. If you're gonna spend that much on awakening you might as well spend it on Kirihara or the other core strategists.
Yeah, unlike 9, a lot of characters 10+ awakenings feel pointless. Halloween Lelouch, one of the absolute best units in the game, gets nothing from it besides 2 points of cost reduction. Which is nice, but you compare it to some, mats would be wasted on him until they become more plentiful.
Meanwhile, characters the original Kallen get a big bump in stats, characters like Zero Lelouch, Jeremiah, Sayoko, Ashford Kallen, etc who rely on rapid redeployment get time reduction which can make a huge difference.
And while time reduction is good on C.C., shes competing with lots of characters who benefit from it more because Stealth is OP and even with one single (limited) unit to remove it now, Orpheus just has stealth 2.0 to get around
Character adjustments are good, its nice to see some get buffed. But stealth needs to be reworked. Its too strong to use and too frustrating to deal with.
Some of the already strong 2-3* become even more absurd with level 15 awakening, Senba, Diethard, school Lelouch, pilot suit Asahina, etc.
While it's nice that they are easy to get and max out, I hope they don't ram the difficulty off the rail because of this.
Is Assahina's really that good? I have mine at 9 for Black Knights challenge events.
Haven't used Diethard in a while, but thats only because I have 4 star Sayoko, so she tends to make him unnecessary in most of my team comps.

He has decent stats for a knight type, permanent attack buff for all black knight members as long as he stays on the field, and of course, cost generation. He could hold a lane pretty well with some healing support and Shen Hu to rapidly spamming its skill.
A lot of characters are in, and not just the pilot versions.
Regular Nunnally is a 2 star

Probably will get a 4 star Princess version once we get to R2, but she is apparently involved in the June event plot from the bit they teased on the stream, so she might get a new unit there.

Hes practically made fort it and accels at it, especially in the new map that seems tailor made for him
Since most people just stack ranged with only a couple blockers towards the end, he just shreds through. And since the new map has a gimmick that fully refreshes all units and makes your next deployment cost 0, he enables a lot.
I wish Tamaki's was using the grenade launcher instead of just being a recolor. The stats of the one we have now are ranged so they're not very compatible
I regret didn't finish my 100/200 rolls. After reading the limited kmf skill again, I realized it's great. Although the possibility of bride banner holding me back

Benio doesn't get her first KMF until they leave Japan, but they could just give us her early alongside Savitri. Urabe could also get a 4 star since hes dying during chapter 1 of R2.

This is definitely going to be an issue. I think the only Rook they have is White Day Lelouch, so thats going to be one issue for most. (I have all Lulus so its not for me, but I don't like the idea of Challenges relying on limited units for a role as crucial as Rook)

Theres not really any good support options for melee stages. Villetta is the only one outright geared towards melee. Depending on who people have and built, this becomes an issue for some. This extends to Knightmares too since theres not a lot of good ones for support, at least not cheap ones.
Chiba is kinda mixed, but shes also pretty squishy and mine got shot down when all the side enemies spawned.
Chiba or other healer with similar melee attack rate are enough. I have villeta built but never use her. The free suzaku is probably the best one because of built in stealth. For other healer, you need too kill or pull the side enemies. With gawain strats , you only need to get rid 1 or 2 sides because it can almost solo the entire stage. If you have v.milley, you can use regen based healer too that doesn't need protection.
I cleared it already. I built around Orpheus and his neo stealth with the gefjun disturber. Once they were trapped, he hits and I just needed to deal with stragglers.
Raising Asahina to 12 was definitely the right call for this week's Challenge. It may not be the craziest stats, but it definitely makes a difference when you need a cost generator on the field who actually has to fight.
Anniversary Kallen is also really fricking good, with her combo of Black Knight buffing, regen on 1 unit and Lelouch cost reduction. Her and NY Kaguya on the team make pretty much any Lelouch really cheap deployment.
Anyone on the fence about about Bride Nunnally, I must highly recommend her. Instantly filling up the Special meter will be invaluable going forward. Case in point, I'm trying to clear Extra of the current permanent Expedition and in these stages, she lets me immediately fire off a second special after the first.
Shes going to be an extremely useful unit, so it might be worth picking her up.
Anons i need some help, i want to try the game out but the 4.89 GB download gets stuck at 35.35% always, im playing the game on Mumu X, maybe thats the reason its getting stuck or is this a known error ? Can i fix it ?
Yeah thx reagardless anon, the unique emulator where i found it to work decently was Bluestacks Nougat 64 Bits.
And to fix the download error i had to simply go into airplane mode when it stopped, this way what i had downloaded would be saved and i could keep downloading.
Now im playing and enjoying it a lot.

Whats the point of unlocking the normal Guren into this thing? If you had a Guren repair item and wanted another Guren repair, why wouldn't you just build out of that item?
Normal Guren get +5 atk/def and +1 block if you unlock the new weapon and upgrade it to mod 5.
Not big but it's for people who already maxed out Guren and don't want to waste resources for this new Guren just for the +1 block.
So the normal Guren weapon gets buffed if you unlocked it? Not just the 3 prong arm weapon?

Considering they buff pilot suit Kallen's defenses for Anni, giving her +2 block will probably help her with her new pseudo-Rook role secondary.
Guess they really are saving Benio for her actual piloting debut, so we likely won't see her playable until after the exile and she gets her Burai Custom proper, unless they do an event that covers ahead of time like the KoR and CF
So the Black Knights recovered the Sougetsu. Guess we should expect a Sougetsu Flight-Enabled version in the near future, probably once the operation to capture Nunnally over the Pacific happens.
Next chapter seems hard to guess tge banner. Bunny Kallen, Urabe and Rolo and Vincent all seem like prime candidates. Though maybe Urabe will just be used for a raid banner instead.
I wonder what the raid will be this month. Only machine already in the game that we don't have is the Gang Lou and the Magdala but I doubt the latter will be distributed without Carly.
Raids in general feel like they're going to be hard to predict from here, because there aren't a lot of options.
While Burai were distributed as a mission reward and in event shops, we don't know if Akatsuki or Vincent Ward will get that treatment or end up in raids. Like, I could see Jeremiah's Sutherland with glide wings from Geass Hunt be a raid, or Suzaku's Vincent from Re; manga, but most other KMF from R2 could be on banners.
Feels like the plot was written in a way he should pretty early on R2. He can't do any military stuff for a month and they retrived his Black Knights KMF
Moreover, assuming each R2 chapter is about 2 episodes each like before
August chspter 1 - episode 2, the Babel Tower operation and Zero's return end point
September chapter 2 - Trapped on campus and rescuing the Black Knights. Plus probably the Lancelot & Guren chapter where Schnee brings Suzaku to his home.
October chapter 3 - Suzaku returns to Ashford and festival, Benio joins Black Knights chapter from Lancelot & Guren and maybe the Nunnally capture operation
November - Nunnally capture operation if not last chapter, Lelouch moping, and maybe 1 Million Zeroes if Nunnally capture is done previous chapter
Main reason I'm listing all this? Half Anniversary is November and we have so far gotten a new protagonist at these intervals, and given a potential Sougetsu Flight-Enabled could come, a Black Knights pilot suit protagonist seems possible to go with it.
Considering it was a poll result, I expect that to be separate from the annual free unit because they had no way of knowing ahead of time that the protagonist would win. Maybe for the Half-Anni event. Maybe it will be with their Britannian pilot suit and they did some test flight in it.

This seems likely enough so that they can have the excuse of debuting pilot suit Suzaku with the Lancelot Conquista for Chapter 2 and can release Kallen and Guren Flight for Chapter 3 alongside Guilford and his Vincent and/or Senba for his death.
They have the same pre-registration campaign as Japan had, it seems.
I wish there was some way to spread awareness to pump up the numbers to at least get the Knightpolice, if not the Lelouch.
I didn't know tower blew up when destroyed and damage your units within. I hope my Stealth defense setup ignores that or else people can easily just wipe mine.
I just rush the towers with melee gawain+regen+stealth
I use Orpheus with Byakuen as my main offense unit. Hes just completely impervious to all range characters.
Next event should get announced tonight. Think we're getting a new swimsuit event? Would be nice if some events could actually add to previous event themes.
I was iffy on the new C.C., but her obstacle creation she gives you is extremely good for controlling the enemies path, and you can funnel annoying enemies like bosses towards stronger positions than having to split your forces.
Its also useful for just locking in enemies like Monica.
Case in point, it let me finally beat Extra difficulty of the current Expedition when I've been struggling with it.
Shes not a unit thats easy to brainlessly use, but she is useful for creating new strategies.
Gonna reiterate that I'm glad I pulled for China dress Kallen and C.C. here
Normally struggle with no range team comps, but they both made things much easier here, with Kallen being a much needed melee healer and C.C.'s obstacle generation making me completely change the flow of the battle by blocking one of the entries.
I should have also mentioned, another unit I was wrong about: Groom Shirley from last month. I got her while going for Nunnally, and I thought she seemed underwhelming at first. But seeing her in other people's stuff and rising in the opinions of others, I see why. Her defenses are solid but her off healing is amazing.
That was definitely a good value event banner. Shirley feels like a character built for Expedition.
It feels like a repeat of last year's Round's event, but this time everyone is limited. Made worse by the fact that they aren't seeming to be adding new 3 stars to banners anymore.
I'm really liking this new arena map. Usually I pick enemies with empty defenders to save time, now I can pick any enemies & rush to destroy the towers & the enemies just explodes. Quick 30-40s timing
They seem pretty coy about the other Libra character, Crow. Maelstrom of Libra isn't easy to find info on, so I don't know how much of that character was up to player interpretation. Though I do wonder if they might have more planned for Libra.

Honestly, I feel like Libra is probably worth it for being the best stealth caster now other than Halloween Lelouch. She might not generate cost like Sayoko, but her's has longest length so you can switch between two groups without losing it.

After maxing out pilot suit Kallen and putting her in a 2+ block Guren, she practically feels like a whole new unit. I'm really glad they gave her that rework to feel like a Queen-Rook hybrid because I always hated how underwhelming she felt compared to other Queen types, so its nice to have one of my favorite versions of her finally has her own niche.

Considering it seems to have the combined modules rather than the default Pendulum, it might just be a late picture.
Well, I can't complain since I pull for all Kallens. Shes one of the best healers in the game now too.
I have a feeling we'll see even more story characters than neat alts for raids going forward, just because there are too many new KMFs at some points in the story at once.
Chinese Federation arc is going to have Shinkiro, Zangetsu, Benihoozuki, and 2 different Akatsuki commander models show up there so theres no way they can fit in a new Lelouch, C.C., Todoh, Asahina, Chiba and Benio into one chapter.

Well, NY Kaguya is probably the best healer, but thats also because of what she does besides healing too more so than the quality of her healing.
But we also now have multiple non-Bishops that off-heal extremely well like the recent Shirley, or characters like Anni Kallen or Euphie that cast good regen along with what they do.
Still, China dress Kallen is a good healer since she self-stealths and can be good as a melee or ranged healer, so shes really good. Her and NY Kaguya are probably the best actual Bishops.

I was gonna say, this probably means even if they do more with Libra's story, we might not see Crow or have them made playable, but they left themselves some wiggle room with the flight pack.

Which is better to have: Two maxed out melee Mordreds or 2 maxed out ranged Mordreds? Because one of these two maxed out Mordreds is gonna get their other upgrade path maxed out now.
Kinda leaning to 2 ranged Mordreds since theres plenty of good melee options but ranged Mordred still has one of the best attack ranges.
Also, conversely, while Mordred I'm leaning towards having two ranged Mordreds seems better for the future, since I have 2 ranged Gawains and 1 melee Gawain, I'm probably gonna upgrade one of my ranged Gawains now fully on the melee path since having two melee Gawains feels like it might come up.
Interesting when they show the clip of the MC in the Sougetsu's wienerpit, its not entirely the same as it is in the opening, since the Narita mountains background is replaced with sky

a bunch of Sutherlands and Gloucesters for their team. I always find an army of grunt units look nicer than a bunch of special snowflake machines.
We're all in agreement that this is almost certainly the next Raid boss, right? Whenever they make these "Repair" models they always end up as Raid rewards.
Question please, I have never seen or heard of this particular game but I saw the swimsuit art a few hours ago so I was wondering, is it limited to just the artwork or do the characters get new swimsuit sprites in gameplay/story chapters?

The version of the unit you use will show up in that unit's outfit during battle like this when using skills. If its related to a story, both main or not, they will show up like this. Some costumes are not tied to units and can be purchased through points earned in game, for outfits apparently deemed not worth making into a full unit.
You can also set any unit you have to be your home screen and will appear as that set version
Suzaku's swimsuit was a unit from the event last month. Though he was earned through participation, and didn't need to pull.
Lelouch's is an equipable costume, but I haven't purchased it.

It was from last year's swimsuit event, where C.C. and Cecile were the banner and Kallen was the event reward.
Every event has a character who can be earned just by playing. Some of them are decent, like the Suzaku from the April event.
In general, the game favors the "Big 4" Code Geass cast of Kallen (Currently has the most different units) Lelouch, Suzaku (These 2 are tied 2nd) and C.C (Currently 3rd) so it does balance a bit of the waifu and husbando factor, even if the waifu probably gets the edge, because Lelouch.
And no, costumes don't require real money. They're exchanged for Arena Tokens, which you earn every week based on your Arena rank at the end.

So, I mentioned this on /m/, but what do people think the odds of next event being an event like last year's Knights of the Round event, in that it just aims to add pilots and KMF early to the general pool. Because R2 has tons of new KMF
Make it to get Benio early since she has the shortest gap between getting her first KMF before upgrading. Maybe make an Akatsuki the reward in the event shop like how the Shen Hu was for the Xingke event.

Lockout content is something I kinda like in these games, since it gives me a good reason to actually use all the characters I've gotten rather than just a team.
Would definitely recommend using as few characters as possible, especially your one stars on the first could stages. The first for example, I justr stuck one star Tamaki into his Guren and it was more than enough.
The Zero Burai upgrade here is a big one. With the Riot Shielod, it becomes a 0 cost unit with 6 upgrade levels making it a good alternative to Kallen's Glasgow. But since its like the 3 prong Guren, you can use it to unlock the upgrade path for the regular Zero Burai and turn it into a 3 cost range unit, but also give it 50 additional atk and 100 def.
Its definitely going to be a useful unit in the future this way.
I don't like the current trend of needing dupe shard to unlock alternate weapon. Base zero burai was the worst 4* kmf, it didn't change shit if you still need to roll gacha to upgrade. They became too greedy after anniversary.
They also increase the difficulty by needing certain unit with few alternative. I miss the era when you only need kirihara + some random black knights to clear highest difficulty contents.
I'm also mad they fricked over CC by not giving her kmf for newer version. Chinese kallen got kmf, but not CC. And the latest CC didn't get kmf again although her kit clearly designated with gawain in mind. I got her but couldn't use her effectively because only have 1 gawain, and it's used by summer CC that need gawain badly

I don't think to many KMF will get this. It seems to be reserved for KMF "downgrades" to buff the normal versions, and we don't get too many of those.
I do agree though, C.C. feels like she got the short end of the stick. Sure, Gawain is still broken, but its gonna suck when you want to put her into her proper KMF. And this outfit was my favorite C.C. one from the show, so I needed it. Hopefully her Akatsuki Zikisan has a similar gimmick to Gawain, and maybe is melee with a ranged special like the Crow Gekka to compliment how it plays.
Wonder what this month's raid will be. Only KMF in the game right now unreleased are the Gang Lou and the flight pack Crow Gekka. I would have thought Riot Shield Burai was next, but I guess now.
Maybe Float Glaston Gloucester? Or Maybe the training colors Burai Benio uses briefly?
Hm... Looking at where things ended here, I think next month might only cover the Suzaku festival episode BUT also draw heavily into Lancelot & Guren, with Schnee's home chapter and Benio's recruitment being the first half and then the plot of ep 5 of R2. This way, the battle over the Pacific can happen in the same month as half Anniversary, when we might get our next free protagonist unit and Flight Sougetsu.
If this is the case, next chapter banner will either be Benio and Savitri or casual Gino and Anya.

Mixed. Every event you can earn a free unit, and some are pretty decent. Once Raids begin, you can earn those exclusive KMFs for free too, and most of the raid KMF are extremely useful, either being "weaker" versions of strong KMF or have decent utility.
The free protagonist units we got a 6 month intervals so far are also fantastic.
As with all these games, they obviously want you to spend, but if you stick with it long enough, you will have a sizable roster with free rewards.

Assuming no changes to the launch roster
Reroll for either Kallen (Solid tank, comes with extremely useful utility KMF), Suzaku (Comes with the best KMF that the game launches with) or Cornelia (Best DPS at launch, but better options come eventually if you don't want her).
C.C. is the worst launch 4 star because barriers aren't as useful, and Euphemia is good but 3 star healers are enough outside of non-faction restricted content.
Get Jeremiah 3 star, Diethard 2 star, and either Villetta or Kewell for early content and you can have a solid roster.
As for future, depends on how you want to build teams, but the first chapter update banner with Zero Lelouch will be a must have since its still one of the best units in the game even a year later.
Halloween Lelouch if they give that event early is also a must have limited unit because of how broken stealth is.
Units that come with Knightmares are generally some of the best value too, since KMFs are key. Things like the Knights of the Round event or Kallen with Guren.

You're in luck then, because the first 3 star Jerry is still one of the most useful utility units in the game. You won't use that one to fight, but he will probably be on all you teams

Found the posts helpful for the Jeremiah anon, thank you. What's some early-game "always go for/save for this, do not do this" tips, like, how's the currency situation and etc? Are the events rerun safely enough that there's no one permanently missable?
Earlier ,some of 2* are better than 4* because of easier to get lv99. Kewell, senba, urabe, chiba, diethard are great, better than 3* alternative. Limited unit worth rolling: Halloween Lelouch, both new year units , both anniversary units(save at least 1 spark here). For permanent unit: regen euphy, KoR suzaku (if you care about guild raid), and probably zero Lelouch (clutch unit for bossing) plus any unit with gawain if you're f2p. Only limited banner rerun so far at anni & half anni
Is Anya good?
Decent, but probably won't be used 99% of the time pve. Useful for pvp to unstealth annoying Halloween Lelouch. The swimsuit version is bad

Do dupes provide meaningful bonuses like in other gachas, or is it worthless
Dupes gets turned into pendants which are used to uncap their max level. And if the character comes with a KMF like Suzaku and Kallen you get another copy of it as well.
And even if you maxed out a character getting dupes can be used to buy generic lockets to uncap other characters.
The Lancelot he brings is top tier for early game, not the guy himself. You strip his Lancelot and give it on someone like Urabe instead, Suzaku can do fine with other cheap KMF like the Knightpolice to generate deployment point.

Diethard doesn't have much use early game, he only becomes important later with his stealth buff when you begin to face suicidal bombers and those pain in the ass long range snipers. For now it's safe to replace him.

Assuming no dupe for 4*. You can skip raising the one in red & school lelouch for now. Team template is 2 strikers, 2-3 melees (executioner/guardian), 2 ranged executioners, 2 engineers (altough 1 is probably enough before summer event). Try clearing chapter 1 asap if you dont have orange yet

Should I just make a bunch of dupes of the long range Sutherland then, to replace all the crappy Glasglows you start off with? Is the only benefit to developing weapons for SSR units that you can't get dupes of?
Sutherlands aren't that good and get phased out pretty quickly, you can build a few of them if you want more KMFs but don't waste resources to upgrade them beyond a few basic levels. Without Lancelots the Gloucesters and Burai Kai will be your mainstay KMFs until the KoR got added.
Kallen's Glasglow is one of the most important KMFs in game, it has shit stats but you can reduce its cost to 0. So any character that has global buff or DP boost like Orange want it.

Girl on the left is Oldrin Zevon, main character of the Oz the Reflection manga that never got a proper EN translation despite actually being kind of important to the overall Code Geass story unlike Akito which was a glorified filler arc. Also, not a JP player, but a very brief glance from appmedia, and I don't see any Akito characters.
Assuming they are going to roll out the Halloween event next month, Halloween Lelouch. Permanent stealth is simply broken in a lot of content.
Afterward it's probably a good idea to save for the KoR event so you can get your hand on a bunch of non shit KMFs, especially the Mordred.

The weapon thing is one of the most confusing elements of the game and one of the most poorly explained. At first I thought when making a KMF you could pick which base type to make, but nope, you always get the same base type. When unlocking a weapon the game doesn't tell you if it does it for all mechs of that type or only that specific one. And it seems very rare for it to ever be worth doing so because of all the mechs I have so far only the Sutherland's secondary weapon seems to be a good investment over its main one for its stun capability. And it also means that if you're unlocking a second weapon on a mech then you don't ever want to upgrade the default one because you won't be using it.

Typical "200 rolls and pick the rate up character" system. Most of your sakuradite comes from story update and login bonus. They also have raid events that give out roll tickets.
Raids and main story updates always come with new banner for permanent characters so ideally you want to save your sakuradite for the event limited characters instead, unless the story updates come with an extremely strong KMFs/characters.

19 chapters so far, 13 for season 1, 4 interlude chapters between season 1 and season 2, current the story is at the beginning of season 2, after Zero returned and recused the rest of the Black Knights.

I'm rank 7 with 6,000 squad power but I've been able to punch above my weight with Cornelia to get here but this mission is literally 13+ units, some shielded, rushing you at once
First banner should be Accomplice C.C., who is limited for the first year. She got added to general pool for Anni. Shes a Special who has a block rate of 3, regen, and cost reduction for all Black Knights. Her defense is not as good as a real Rook so be careful.
First story update banner will bring Zero Lelouch, a fantastic meta unit. He reduces the HP of all enemies within his range by a percent of their max HP so hes excellent for dealing with bosses. He also buffs all Black Knights on your team by just being in your lineup.
She's solid but not particularly great in general since she tries to do too many things at once. Gawain improves her greatly but the problem is that there's around a dozen people out there who also want to ride that thing so she kinda takes the backseat in most team comps.

If it's long-range, then I might give her Jeremiah's KMF which I gave to Lelouch. Anon was right, you're stuck with more pilots than KMFs at the start.
They reran her once during half anni then just added her into the permanent pool after 1st anni, obviously it gets much harder to roll her without rate up afterward. >long-range
She's a tank so you want melee KMF, so it's either Burai kai or Lancelot for her, until you get the Sougetsu from story reward.

In jp I rerolled for base CC, then rolled zero CC. Base CC was mostly unused. Zero CC also unused until I had enough pendant to lv90 her. She became pretty good when gawain got melee upgrade, used her for pvp tower rush because I don't have better attacker with high hp.
Ok, that's a bit telling, thank you. I'd still want to at least deploy CC and get passive exp + trust + deployment lines, or have her to be secretary. I'd really prefer that she be viable though... common sense says I should only roll for the best units, but I don't know how much sentimental rolls I can afford in this game, some other gachas are generous with currency and reruns. >pvp exists

She's not really pure tank, but hybrid tank + cost generator. She can generate cost but only after 30s instead the usual 5s. She also reduce all black knights cost by 1-2 (need lv99 & personal kmf for 2).
You can get exp+trust by skipping with tickets. The 3 main guys got a lot of alts, you probably won't be able to get all of them even if you only focus on one character unless you pay.
Pvp in this game isn't that stressful, just 10 battle per week. You can also pick enemies with empty unit

It kills me with laughter how fricking obsessive Mario/Maya can be about Lelouch being the person who could help them get their revenge, he literally only needed to save Suzaku for them to already be willing to die for him.

You trade in what you don't want to save for generic core luminous, which are required for upgrade levels 7, 8 and 9
So if I have a 4* ticket and seven 3* tickets, I should wait for the pool to increase so I don't draw a 4* dupe, and only do 3* rolls in batches of 10? Having Kallen and Suzaku means I already have 40% of the 4* pool. Would I need to be using these tickets during events, to try and get better units to complete things? Or do the 3* and 4* pools actually include the event units when there are any?
Does the story change much due to the addition of the protagonist or does it still just go through all the numbers of the anime's plot with the MC shoehorned into it?
All the major events just happen as they were in the anime, the protagonist's role is mostly to fill the gaps in the story. They said in the interview that his role isn't there to change the story itself but to observe all the events happen in the story through his point of view while dealing with his own personal conflict.

I've been trying clearing expedition extra 9 for hours but damn the rng is really awful. The mooks can stun, reduce block to 0, clear stealth. So you need to stealth to prevent most of them, but rng still can frick you because enemies spam also have stealth. Kagero was a mistake
Ah, I see why you had trouble.
Since Lelouch and Kallen have map wide stuns at intervals, these stages can be a pain without one. It is annoying when these expedition stages are balanced around specific gimmicks and you don't pull.
Looking at this I'm not sure how you'd do this easily without this strategy.

Yes. Thats lockets to limit break her, which make a huge difference since character skills make a huge difference, and 3 if her Glasgow, the best utility KMF in the game even in JP.
Its the cheapest deploy cost unit in the game at 0-2, so its amazing for units you want to put in and out with great deploy effects like Jeremiah. Having multiple of it is a blessing.

Expedition harder stages can go long, trust me. But Strategist (King pieces) types have really short cooldowns. Kirihara when he comes has a strong effect for Black Knights

The side-stories had him talk about being on Marianne's personal guard, and the side-stories were apparently released alongside the episodes in real time, so it was planned to some extent? But I've also read that he was supposed to be killed off in R1 but brought him back due to the intense amount of love he received. Slightly puzzling why, since I mostly liked him for R2 and just felt bad for him in R1.

Some of the lines that Zero!C.C. shares with First!C.C. are still voiced. The ones that I've checked so far seem to be ones with context of when C.C. wore the Zero outfit to save Lelouch from Cornelia, which we don't have access to the chapter of yet.
Could just be that the unit calls for audio line locations that aren't 'unlocked' yet, so the audio doesn't come through.

In the last year from December to September, 7 of those 10 events had a Kallen unit. 3 of which were free .
Only 2 of those events had new C.C. and she was a 4 star banner character both times.
Kallen sits at number 1 right now for character with the most units. And C.C. is only 3rd.

After the first few events, which were awfully balanced and got a lot of backlash from players, they changed the format for events so they don't actually use stamina anymore, there are a few event battles which you have to clear to unlock the event story and expedition missions, and you can only get 1 expedition run per day.
Is the currency from event expeditions the same as from regular expeditions? In other words, should I save my expedition currency from regular expeditions for the event shop?

Story banners are almost exclusively clothes they actually wore in show. And KMF tied to what they actually wore while piloting it.
Event banners have freedom in alts but they have avoided making most units with KMF limited, with only Anni Lelouch and his game original KMF being such.
So there's lots of opportunities for C.C. units but story and Knightmare options are in question for her.
At this rate, they might just make her Akatsuki Zikisan a raid unit and call it a day.

Nah, the Resurrection manga itself puts the events of the movie happening after the series, so Mao and Shirley are dead, so it makes some changes to make the story happen (like Jeremiah instead of Shirley recovering Lelouch's body).
I think it also plays a role that they don't really try to sell C.C. as a waifu to you, C.C. is always put next to Lelouch in promotional stuff and never gets ship tease with the player, even in Lost Colors which was a dating sim where you could make Kallen, Kaguya and Shirley fall in love with the main character, C.C. at most was friends with him.
In the Geass collab with Counterside if you contract Lelouche he refuses because he has to go back to his world and help Nunnaly and if you contract CC she refuses because she's already in a contract with Lelouche.

Just wait until her character episode. The unit its tied to even directly supports the player. Kallen and Kaguya have units that directly support Lelouch units, Euphemia for Suzaku, and Chiba for Todohs, but C.C. doesn't have one for Lelouch.

Its funny because New Year's event C.C. was the only one without a Lelouch buffing skill. And its hard not to notice the pattern with most of these character specific skills tied to "love interest" most of the time.
Maybe it's too hard at that level without lancelot/darlton glou. Swap glasgow on orange, glou on urabe, police on guil, sutherland on milly. Focus leveling urabe & milly (& minani if you have another sutherland )
The problem was you used orange for battle whale sama. Change his lancelot to kallen glasgow, only deploy him and immediately retreat to gain cost. Also unlock one or two lancelot to varis.
Here's my list. I'm having trouble with the hard dailies, and the challenge missions. I feel like with these characters, I'm doing something VERY wrong if it's supposed to be easy.
For exp daily, you can deploy chiba & kallen in front of base, then deploy gloucester facing upward. Replace chiba with senba after deploying healer.
For challenge you probably could do up to t5/t6 if you level your healer. It's mostly tank+healer wit gloucester dps.
I'm still stuck at t7 because I dont have second healer leveled.
In case anyone here shares my moronation: To use the Player Skill in the bottom right, you hold-click and drag to bring the targeting out. Finally figured it out as I reached 3-20.

Not sure about Easy Modo, but "normal" Stage 1 is 10k rec power. That said, I'm slightly over 10k power and still got rekt, so...
I think the last stage of normal mode is 18k. Although rec power isn't really good indicator of how strong you're. Kmfs roster is more important. You can clear normal mode with less than 10k power is you have the right kmfs (aka multiple lancelot)

Are they good? I usually just used Lelouch on Jeremiah's KMF for ranged attacks instead of using expensive executioners, and Tohdou and Shirley are pretty underleveled atm while I'm using Kallen and Milly. But holy shit can Jeremiah and Suzaku not handle waves of enemies anymore for chapter 2

You can always keep it for collection purpose since there's no other way to get more of them later unless you are paying, but it's just a worse Sutherland so there's no reason to waste your resources upgrading it.
Everyone who picked Easy for the event is at least steamrolling and can just repeat it daily, right? Just 4 hours to go until day resets and I can give it a try.

Mixed. Every event you can earn a free unit, and some are pretty decent. Once Raids begin, you can earn those exclusive KMFs for free too, and most of the raid KMF are extremely useful, either being "weaker" versions of strong KMF or have decent utility.
The free protagonist units we got a 6 month intervals so far are also fantastic.
As with all these games, they obviously want you to spend, but if you stick with it long enough, you will have a sizable roster with free rewards.

Assuming no changes to the launch roster
Reroll for either Kallen (Solid tank, comes with extremely useful utility KMF), Suzaku (Comes with the best KMF that the game launches with) or Cornelia (Best DPS at launch, but better options come eventually if you don't want her).
C.C. is the worst launch 4 star because barriers aren't as useful, and Euphemia is good but 3 star healers are enough outside of non-faction restricted content.
Get Jeremiah 3 star, Diethard 2 star, and either Villetta or Kewell for early content and you can have a solid roster.
As for future, depends on how you want to build teams, but the first chapter update banner with Zero Lelouch will be a must have since its still one of the best units in the game even a year later.
Halloween Lelouch if they give that event early is also a must have limited unit because of how broken stealth is.
Units that come with Knightmares are generally some of the best value too, since KMFs are key. Things like the Knights of the Round event or Kallen with Guren.

You're in luck then, because the first 3 star Jerry is still one of the most useful utility units in the game. You won't use that one to fight, but he will probably be on all you teams

While event limited banners get a rerun during anniversary, they haven't rerun any events so far, so missing event only characters can be quite problematic.

Yeah it's fricking crazy. If you only have one you're definitely better off using it in long range rather than short range. Cornelia's spear KMF is already a decent melee unit but the gap between the Varis Lancelot and the Sutherlands is immense.
so what should I pioritize in terms of crafting KMFs and weapons. I'm sure lancelot has good weapons but I still need someone to hold my hold so i don't end up bricked.
Sword upgrade is fine if you want to punch a bit harder, but your priority should be VARIS since it has the merit of not getting completely powercreeped by Shenhu, which you get one for free, and Air Cavalry later. Just don't bother with the 3rd weapon type. >Crafting

I don't actually use Darlton himself. Just his Gloucester KMF with the 4-long line attack. I was having Viletta use it first, but realized it was a solid means of bringing support without sacrificing meaningful damage contribution.

I second the Senba recommendation. Level 40+using Tohdoh's KMF has been enough for him to hold a line (and especially tank those butthole ranged units who hold back and shoot you). He was one of the MVPs for clearing the end of chapter 4 for me.

How are the character adjustments on Kallen, C.C., Suzaku, and Cornelia that they did? Have they helped those characters?
Kallen is now a strong queen pretending to be a rook, Suzaku is slightly more powerful (more so as ranged) and gives you more cost, Cornelia has her survivability increased and her cost decreased by 2, and her assault rifle Gloucester increases the ATK and DEF of both equipments up to 70. I'd say C.C. gets the short end of the stick, but that depends on how feel about her shield.
C.C with 15 awaken can have 100% uptime for her shield, but shield as whole is a pretty shit mechanic since stealth is much more useful overall.

Yeah no. If you're gonna spend that much on awakening you might as well spend it on Kirihara or the other core strategists.
Yeah, unlike 9, a lot of characters 10+ awakenings feel pointless. Halloween Lelouch, one of the absolute best units in the game, gets nothing from it besides 2 points of cost reduction. Which is nice, but you compare it to some, mats would be wasted on him until they become more plentiful.
Meanwhile, characters the original Kallen get a big bump in stats, characters like Zero Lelouch, Jeremiah, Sayoko, Ashford Kallen, etc who rely on rapid redeployment get time reduction which can make a huge difference.
And while time reduction is good on C.C., shes competing with lots of characters who benefit from it more because Stealth is OP and even with one single (limited) unit to remove it now, Orpheus just has stealth 2.0 to get around
Character adjustments are good, its nice to see some get buffed. But stealth needs to be reworked. Its too strong to use and too frustrating to deal with.
Some of the already strong 2-3* become even more absurd with level 15 awakening, Senba, Diethard, school Lelouch, pilot suit Asahina, etc.
While it's nice that they are easy to get and max out, I hope they don't ram the difficulty off the rail because of this.
Is Assahina's really that good? I have mine at 9 for Black Knights challenge events.
Haven't used Diethard in a while, but thats only because I have 4 star Sayoko, so she tends to make him unnecessary in most of my team comps.
He has decent stats for a knight type, permanent attack buff for all black knight members as long as he stays on the field, and of course, cost generation. He could hold a lane pretty well with some healing support and Shen Hu to rapidly spamming its skill.

Since most people just stack ranged with only a couple blockers towards the end, he just shreds through. And since the new map has a gimmick that fully refreshes all units and makes your next deployment cost 0, he enables a lot.

This is definitely going to be an issue. I think the only Rook they have is White Day Lelouch, so thats going to be one issue for most. (I have all Lulus so its not for me, but I don't like the idea of Challenges relying on limited units for a role as crucial as Rook)

I hate melee only stages, I always struggle on them
After melee gawain released, they're pretty easy for me. Usually not much rng compared to other stage
Theres not really any good support options for melee stages. Villetta is the only one outright geared towards melee. Depending on who people have and built, this becomes an issue for some. This extends to Knightmares too since theres not a lot of good ones for support, at least not cheap ones.
Chiba is kinda mixed, but shes also pretty squishy and mine got shot down when all the side enemies spawned.
Chiba or other healer with similar melee attack rate are enough. I have villeta built but never use her. The free suzaku is probably the best one because of built in stealth. For other healer, you need too kill or pull the side enemies. With gawain strats , you only need to get rid 1 or 2 sides because it can almost solo the entire stage. If you have v.milley, you can use regen based healer too that doesn't need protection.
I cleared it already. I built around Orpheus and his neo stealth with the gefjun disturber. Once they were trapped, he hits and I just needed to deal with stragglers.
Raising Asahina to 12 was definitely the right call for this week's Challenge. It may not be the craziest stats, but it definitely makes a difference when you need a cost generator on the field who actually has to fight.
Anniversary Kallen is also really fricking good, with her combo of Black Knight buffing, regen on 1 unit and Lelouch cost reduction. Her and NY Kaguya on the team make pretty much any Lelouch really cheap deployment.
Anyone on the fence about about Bride Nunnally, I must highly recommend her. Instantly filling up the Special meter will be invaluable going forward. Case in point, I'm trying to clear Extra of the current permanent Expedition and in these stages, she lets me immediately fire off a second special after the first.
Shes going to be an extremely useful unit, so it might be worth picking her up.

Yeah thx reagardless anon, the unique emulator where i found it to work decently was Bluestacks Nougat 64 Bits.
And to fix the download error i had to simply go into airplane mode when it stopped, this way what i had downloaded would be saved and i could keep downloading.

Whats the point of unlocking the normal Guren into this thing? If you had a Guren repair item and wanted another Guren repair, why wouldn't you just build out of that item?
Normal Guren get +5 atk/def and +1 block if you unlock the new weapon and upgrade it to mod 5.
Not big but it's for people who already maxed out Guren and don't want to waste resources for this new Guren just for the +1 block.
So the normal Guren weapon gets buffed if you unlocked it? Not just the 3 prong arm weapon?
Yeah, any upgrade with "全武装" affix should carry over to all weapon types of that KMF.

By the time we get to the China arc, we'll have several other new stuff too, like the Vincent Ward and Akatsuki so who knows if they need to wait.
Raids in general feel like they're going to be hard to predict from here, because there aren't a lot of options.
While Burai were distributed as a mission reward and in event shops, we don't know if Akatsuki or Vincent Ward will get that treatment or end up in raids. Like, I could see Jeremiah's Sutherland with glide wings from Geass Hunt be a raid, or Suzaku's Vincent from Re; manga, but most other KMF from R2 could be on banners.

Main reason I'm listing all this? Half Anniversary is November and we have so far gotten a new protagonist at these intervals, and given a potential Sougetsu Flight-Enabled could come, a Black Knights pilot suit protagonist seems possible to go with it.
There should be protagonist's exclusive Gawain in the making too, I am not sure what they are going to do with it, give it in dark blue color scheme?
Considering it was a poll result, I expect that to be separate from the annual free unit because they had no way of knowing ahead of time that the protagonist would win. Maybe for the Half-Anni event. Maybe it will be with their Britannian pilot suit and they did some test flight in it.

I use Orpheus with Byakuen as my main offense unit. Hes just completely impervious to all range characters.

I was iffy on the new C.C., but her obstacle creation she gives you is extremely good for controlling the enemies path, and you can funnel annoying enemies like bosses towards stronger positions than having to split your forces.
Its also useful for just locking in enemies like Monica.
Case in point, it let me finally beat Extra difficulty of the current Expedition when I've been struggling with it.
Shes not a unit thats easy to brainlessly use, but she is useful for creating new strategies.
Gonna reiterate that I'm glad I pulled for China dress Kallen and C.C. here
Normally struggle with no range team comps, but they both made things much easier here, with Kallen being a much needed melee healer and C.C.'s obstacle generation making me completely change the flow of the battle by blocking one of the entries.
I should have also mentioned, another unit I was wrong about: Groom Shirley from last month. I got her while going for Nunnally, and I thought she seemed underwhelming at first. But seeing her in other people's stuff and rising in the opinions of others, I see why. Her defenses are solid but her off healing is amazing.
That was definitely a good value event banner. Shirley feels like a character built for Expedition.
Clovis's imouto was pretty unexpected. Guess they have a plan for her in the story

After maxing out pilot suit Kallen and putting her in a 2+ block Guren, she practically feels like a whole new unit. I'm really glad they gave her that rework to feel like a Queen-Rook hybrid because I always hated how underwhelming she felt compared to other Queen types, so its nice to have one of my favorite versions of her finally has her own niche.

Chinese Federation arc is going to have Shinkiro, Zangetsu, Benihoozuki, and 2 different Akatsuki commander models show up there so theres no way they can fit in a new Lelouch, C.C., Todoh, Asahina, Chiba and Benio into one chapter.

Well, NY Kaguya is probably the best healer, but thats also because of what she does besides healing too more so than the quality of her healing.
But we also now have multiple non-Bishops that off-heal extremely well like the recent Shirley, or characters like Anni Kallen or Euphie that cast good regen along with what they do.
Still, China dress Kallen is a good healer since she self-stealths and can be good as a melee or ranged healer, so shes really good. Her and NY Kaguya are probably the best actual Bishops.
Healing output of regen healer like Euphy are superior than normal bishops without aspd buff. This week challenge is painful without Euphy or good melee units
I was gonna say, this probably means even if they do more with Libra's story, we might not see Crow or have them made playable, but they left themselves some wiggle room with the flight pack.

Kinda leaning to 2 ranged Mordreds since theres plenty of good melee options but ranged Mordred still has one of the best attack ranges.
Also, conversely, while Mordred I'm leaning towards having two ranged Mordreds seems better for the future, since I have 2 ranged Gawains and 1 melee Gawain, I'm probably gonna upgrade one of my ranged Gawains now fully on the melee path since having two melee Gawains feels like it might come up.

Question please, I have never seen or heard of this particular game but I saw the swimsuit art a few hours ago so I was wondering, is it limited to just the artwork or do the characters get new swimsuit sprites in gameplay/story chapters?
I’m especially curious about Suzaku and Gino, I really like their swimsuit designs.
The version of the unit you use will show up in that unit's outfit during battle like this when using skills. If its related to a story, both main or not, they will show up like this. Some costumes are not tied to units and can be purchased through points earned in game, for outfits apparently deemed not worth making into a full unit.
You can also set any unit you have to be your home screen and will appear as that set version

Suzaku's swimsuit was a unit from the event last month. Though he was earned through participation, and didn't need to pull.
Lelouch's is an equipable costume, but I haven't purchased it.

It was from last year's swimsuit event, where C.C. and Cecile were the banner and Kallen was the event reward.
Every event has a character who can be earned just by playing. Some of them are decent, like the Suzaku from the April event.
In general, the game favors the "Big 4" Code Geass cast of Kallen (Currently has the most different units) Lelouch, Suzaku (These 2 are tied 2nd) and C.C (Currently 3rd) so it does balance a bit of the waifu and husbando factor, even if the waifu probably gets the edge, because Lelouch.
And no, costumes don't require real money. They're exchanged for Arena Tokens, which you earn every week based on your Arena rank at the end.

Make it to get Benio early since she has the shortest gap between getting her first KMF before upgrading. Maybe make an Akatsuki the reward in the event shop like how the Shen Hu was for the Xingke event.

Maybe one of the Glaston Knights that die as a 3 star, but they seem to be writing them off given only Claudio has shown up. Can't think of anyone else since theres nothing else notable, and no reason to expect a new Lelouch before Shinkiro's debut.

Lockout content is something I kinda like in these games, since it gives me a good reason to actually use all the characters I've gotten rather than just a team.
Would definitely recommend using as few characters as possible, especially your one stars on the first could stages. The first for example, I justr stuck one star Tamaki into his Guren and it was more than enough.
I'm super hesitant with content like this, I'm constantly worrying about how to spread out my units.

could anyone post the profile page for the Zero's Burai with sutherland arm?
The Zero Burai upgrade here is a big one. With the Riot Shielod, it becomes a 0 cost unit with 6 upgrade levels making it a good alternative to Kallen's Glasgow. But since its like the 3 prong Guren, you can use it to unlock the upgrade path for the regular Zero Burai and turn it into a 3 cost range unit, but also give it 50 additional atk and 100 def.
Its definitely going to be a useful unit in the future this way.
I don't like the current trend of needing dupe shard to unlock alternate weapon. Base zero burai was the worst 4* kmf, it didn't change shit if you still need to roll gacha to upgrade. They became too greedy after anniversary.
They also increase the difficulty by needing certain unit with few alternative. I miss the era when you only need kirihara + some random black knights to clear highest difficulty contents.
I'm also mad they fricked over CC by not giving her kmf for newer version. Chinese kallen got kmf, but not CC. And the latest CC didn't get kmf again although her kit clearly designated with gawain in mind. I got her but couldn't use her effectively because only have 1 gawain, and it's used by summer CC that need gawain badly

I don't think to many KMF will get this. It seems to be reserved for KMF "downgrades" to buff the normal versions, and we don't get too many of those.
I do agree though, C.C. feels like she got the short end of the stick. Sure, Gawain is still broken, but its gonna suck when you want to put her into her proper KMF. And this outfit was my favorite C.C. one from the show, so I needed it. Hopefully her Akatsuki Zikisan has a similar gimmick to Gawain, and maybe is melee with a ranged special like the Crow Gekka to compliment how it plays.
Wonder what this month's raid will be. Only KMF in the game right now unreleased are the Gang Lou and the flight pack Crow Gekka. I would have thought Riot Shield Burai was next, but I guess now.
Maybe Float Glaston Gloucester? Or Maybe the training colors Burai Benio uses briefly?
Hm... Looking at where things ended here, I think next month might only cover the Suzaku festival episode BUT also draw heavily into Lancelot & Guren, with Schnee's home chapter and Benio's recruitment being the first half and then the plot of ep 5 of R2. This way, the battle over the Pacific can happen in the same month as half Anniversary, when we might get our next free protagonist unit and Flight Sougetsu.
If this is the case, next chapter banner will either be Benio and Savitri or casual Gino and Anya.

Mixed. Every event you can earn a free unit, and some are pretty decent. Once Raids begin, you can earn those exclusive KMFs for free too, and most of the raid KMF are extremely useful, either being "weaker" versions of strong KMF or have decent utility.
The free protagonist units we got a 6 month intervals so far are also fantastic.
As with all these games, they obviously want you to spend, but if you stick with it long enough, you will have a sizable roster with free rewards.

Assuming no changes to the launch roster
Reroll for either Kallen (Solid tank, comes with extremely useful utility KMF), Suzaku (Comes with the best KMF that the game launches with) or Cornelia (Best DPS at launch, but better options come eventually if you don't want her).
C.C. is the worst launch 4 star because barriers aren't as useful, and Euphemia is good but 3 star healers are enough outside of non-faction restricted content.
Get Jeremiah 3 star, Diethard 2 star, and either Villetta or Kewell for early content and you can have a solid roster.
As for future, depends on how you want to build teams, but the first chapter update banner with Zero Lelouch will be a must have since its still one of the best units in the game even a year later.
Halloween Lelouch if they give that event early is also a must have limited unit because of how broken stealth is.
Units that come with Knightmares are generally some of the best value too, since KMFs are key. Things like the Knights of the Round event or Kallen with Guren.

You're in luck then, because the first 3 star Jerry is still one of the most useful utility units in the game. You won't use that one to fight, but he will probably be on all you teams

At the start KMFs will be more important than characters since you will have very few of them in numbers. As you progress and start gathering better KMFs it will shift to characters, especially when they begin to release more and more characters with broken skills while the KMFs are interchangeable.

Earlier ,some of 2* are better than 4* because of easier to get lv99. Kewell, senba, urabe, chiba, diethard are great, better than 3* alternative. Limited unit worth rolling: Halloween Lelouch, both new year units , both anniversary units(save at least 1 spark here). For permanent unit: regen euphy, KoR suzaku (if you care about guild raid), and probably zero Lelouch (clutch unit for bossing) plus any unit with gawain if you're f2p. Only limited banner rerun so far at anni & half anni
Decent, but probably won't be used 99% of the time pve. Useful for pvp to unstealth annoying Halloween Lelouch. The swimsuit version is bad

I don't have the normal 4 star, so I can't comment. But Cyborg Jeremiah is pretty good as an offensive unit.
Halloween Jeremiah is free event reward. Hes got an HP drain gimmick similar to Zero Lelouch.
Birthday Jeremiah is solid in Royal Family builds as hes a Rook with cost reduction and buff for all Royal Family units. Hes limited though.
To add on to what this anon said, KMF stats are important in the early days, but as time goes on, when characters get stronger, the extra details of a KMF are more important since you're building around the characters more. Things like attack radius to build teams with characters who have effects in their attack radius, to gimmicks like the melee Gawain having a special always up at the cost of HP, which pairs strongly with characters who have skills that activate at HP thresh holds like Knight of 7 Suzaku. Zero Kagero (a KMF introduced for the game) has a map wide stun when it uses its special, etc.,

Dupes gets turned into pendants which are used to uncap their max level. And if the character comes with a KMF like Suzaku and Kallen you get another copy of it as well.
And even if you maxed out a character getting dupes can be used to buy generic lockets to uncap other characters.
You got 2 Lancelots to carry you early game, but Suzaku himself suck ass though.

The Lancelot he brings is top tier for early game, not the guy himself. You strip his Lancelot and give it on someone like Urabe instead, Suzaku can do fine with other cheap KMF like the Knightpolice to generate deployment point.

Diethard doesn't have much use early game, he only becomes important later with his stealth buff when you begin to face suicidal bombers and those pain in the ass long range snipers. For now it's safe to replace him.

You can build kmf dupe from kmf development menu. Build lancelot asap after you have enough money

Assuming no dupe for 4*. You can skip raising the one in red & school lelouch for now. Team template is 2 strikers, 2-3 melees (executioner/guardian), 2 ranged executioners, 2 engineers (altough 1 is probably enough before summer event). Try clearing chapter 1 asap if you dont have orange yet
I would put Villetta to at least A tier, especially when those damned helicopter spam become a thing.

Alright, well, I've limit-broken him, trying to get through the story stages without LDplayer dying. I kept having to deploy a guardian before Suzaku in the daily stages, was sort of under the initial impression that you should deploy strikers first. Maybe it's because I gave the Lancelot to a guardian, even Ohgi fared well with that.
I got the two S-rank Holy Swords. Should I switch Suzaku for Guilford, if he was only good for the Lancelot?

Unfortunately, Guilford is a worse version of Suzaku. You can consider swapping his Gloucester weapon to spear later, a cheap ground KMF with 2 range attack is useful if you want character like Suzaku or Chiba to do something other than sitting on their ass to generate DP.

Sutherlands aren't that good and get phased out pretty quickly, you can build a few of them if you want more KMFs but don't waste resources to upgrade them beyond a few basic levels. Without Lancelots the Gloucesters and Burai Kai will be your mainstay KMFs until the KoR got added.

I only realised after dumping three levels' worth of mats into Kallen's Glasglow that the Burai Kai is way better.
Kallen's Glasglow is one of the most important KMFs in game, it has shit stats but you can reduce its cost to 0. So any character that has global buff or DP boost like Orange want it.

The weapon thing is one of the most confusing elements of the game and one of the most poorly explained. At first I thought when making a KMF you could pick which base type to make, but nope, you always get the same base type. When unlocking a weapon the game doesn't tell you if it does it for all mechs of that type or only that specific one. And it seems very rare for it to ever be worth doing so because of all the mechs I have so far only the Sutherland's secondary weapon seems to be a good investment over its main one for its stun capability. And it also means that if you're unlocking a second weapon on a mech then you don't ever want to upgrade the default one because you won't be using it.

Typical "200 rolls and pick the rate up character" system. Most of your sakuradite comes from story update and login bonus. They also have raid events that give out roll tickets.
Raids and main story updates always come with new banner for permanent characters so ideally you want to save your sakuradite for the event limited characters instead, unless the story updates come with an extremely strong KMFs/characters.

The way it's worded is confusing but everything you get from it is only given to you once immediately, and then the only bonus from the ongoing subscription is 50% more account exp. So it's best to do it right away and benefit from that and level up your account faster.

First banner should be Accomplice C.C., who is limited for the first year. She got added to general pool for Anni. Shes a Special who has a block rate of 3, regen, and cost reduction for all Black Knights. Her defense is not as good as a real Rook so be careful.
First story update banner will bring Zero Lelouch, a fantastic meta unit. He reduces the HP of all enemies within his range by a percent of their max HP so hes excellent for dealing with bosses. He also buffs all Black Knights on your team by just being in your lineup.

She's solid but not particularly great in general since she tries to do too many things at once. Gawain improves her greatly but the problem is that there's around a dozen people out there who also want to ride that thing so she kinda takes the backseat in most team comps.

They reran her once during half anni then just added her into the permanent pool after 1st anni, obviously it gets much harder to roll her without rate up afterward.

I'd really prefer that she be viable though... common sense says I should only roll for the best units, but I don't know how much sentimental rolls I can afford in this game, some other gachas are generous with currency and reruns.

She's not really pure tank, but hybrid tank + cost generator. She can generate cost but only after 30s instead the usual 5s. She also reduce all black knights cost by 1-2 (need lv99 & personal kmf for 2).
You can get exp+trust by skipping with tickets. The 3 main guys got a lot of alts, you probably won't be able to get all of them even if you only focus on one character unless you pay.
Pvp in this game isn't that stressful, just 10 battle per week. You can also pick enemies with empty unit

In jp I rerolled for base CC, then rolled zero CC. Base CC was mostly unused. Zero CC also unused until I had enough pendant to lv90 her. She became pretty good when gawain got melee upgrade, used her for pvp tower rush because I don't have better attacker with high hp.

Basically Toudou team, minus the glasses guy, forms up a solid team for early to mid game, plus Kewell and Villetta for anti-air roles.
It kills me with laughter how fricking obsessive Mario/Maya can be about Lelouch being the person who could help them get their revenge, he literally only needed to save Suzaku for them to already be willing to die for him.
Just wait until we actually get to the part from the prologue. Even Lelouch becomes unsettled by their willingness to throw away their life for him.

So if I have a 4* ticket and seven 3* tickets, I should wait for the pool to increase so I don't draw a 4* dupe, and only do 3* rolls in batches of 10? Having Kallen and Suzaku means I already have 40% of the 4* pool. Would I need to be using these tickets during events, to try and get better units to complete things? Or do the 3* and 4* pools actually include the event units when there are any?
Does the story change much due to the addition of the protagonist or does it still just go through all the numbers of the anime's plot with the MC shoehorned into it?
All the major events just happen as they were in the anime, the protagonist's role is mostly to fill the gaps in the story. They said in the interview that his role isn't there to change the story itself but to observe all the events happen in the story through his point of view while dealing with his own personal conflict.

I've been trying clearing expedition extra 9 for hours but damn the rng is really awful. The mooks can stun, reduce block to 0, clear stealth. So you need to stealth to prevent most of them, but rng still can frick you because enemies spam also have stealth. Kagero was a mistake

Idol Euphemia is a deploy effect so you can clear enemy stealth with her easily.

Since Lelouch and Kallen have map wide stuns at intervals, these stages can be a pain without one. It is annoying when these expedition stages are balanced around specific gimmicks and you don't pull.

A lot of recent hardest stages boil down to spamming map wide stun or someone that can for fire skills every second.
Couldn't pull any of those super OP limited they released since the anni so I feel like I already fell off the curve in this game when it comes to those stupid challenge stages. I am content with just doing normal stages now.

Yes. Thats lockets to limit break her, which make a huge difference since character skills make a huge difference, and 3 if her Glasgow, the best utility KMF in the game even in JP.
Its the cheapest deploy cost unit in the game at 0-2, so its amazing for units you want to put in and out with great deploy effects like Jeremiah. Having multiple of it is a blessing.

The redeploy times in this game are moronic though, even with Jeremiah's second skill it's still so long that almost every map is already over by the time its duration even runs.
Expedition harder stages can go long, trust me. But Strategist (King pieces) types have really short cooldowns. Kirihara when he comes has a strong effect for Black Knights

The side-stories had him talk about being on Marianne's personal guard, and the side-stories were apparently released alongside the episodes in real time, so it was planned to some extent? But I've also read that he was supposed to be killed off in R1 but brought him back due to the intense amount of love he received. Slightly puzzling why, since I mostly liked him for R2 and just felt bad for him in R1.

No, she specifically doesn't have any voices playing to match her text. Everyone else works fine.
Some of the lines that Zero!C.C. shares with First!C.C. are still voiced. The ones that I've checked so far seem to be ones with context of when C.C. wore the Zero outfit to save Lelouch from Cornelia, which we don't have access to the chapter of yet.
Could just be that the unit calls for audio line locations that aren't 'unlocked' yet, so the audio doesn't come through.

In the last year from December to September, 7 of those 10 events had a Kallen unit. 3 of which were free .
Only 2 of those events had new C.C. and she was a 4 star banner character both times.
Kallen sits at number 1 right now for character with the most units. And C.C. is only 3rd.

After the first few events, which were awfully balanced and got a lot of backlash from players, they changed the format for events so they don't actually use stamina anymore, there are a few event battles which you have to clear to unlock the event story and expedition missions, and you can only get 1 expedition run per day.
Is the currency from event expeditions the same as from regular expeditions? In other words, should I save my expedition currency from regular expeditions for the event shop?
IIRC only the first expedition event when they were still testing stuff. Afterward event and regular expeditions have their own currencies.

Story banners are almost exclusively clothes they actually wore in show. And KMF tied to what they actually wore while piloting it.
Event banners have freedom in alts but they have avoided making most units with KMF limited, with only Anni Lelouch and his game original KMF being such.
So there's lots of opportunities for C.C. units but story and Knightmare options are in question for her.
At this rate, they might just make her Akatsuki Zikisan a raid unit and call it a day.

Nah, the Resurrection manga itself puts the events of the movie happening after the series, so Mao and Shirley are dead, so it makes some changes to make the story happen (like Jeremiah instead of Shirley recovering Lelouch's body).

I think it also plays a role that they don't really try to sell C.C. as a waifu to you, C.C. is always put next to Lelouch in promotional stuff and never gets ship tease with the player, even in Lost Colors which was a dating sim where you could make Kallen, Kaguya and Shirley fall in love with the main character, C.C. at most was friends with him.
In the Geass collab with Counterside if you contract Lelouche he refuses because he has to go back to his world and help Nunnaly and if you contract CC she refuses because she's already in a contract with Lelouche.

Maybe it's too hard at that level without lancelot/darlton glou. Swap glasgow on orange, glou on urabe, police on guil, sutherland on milly. Focus leveling urabe & milly (& minani if you have another sutherland )

The problem was you used orange for battle whale sama. Change his lancelot to kallen glasgow, only deploy him and immediately retreat to gain cost. Also unlock one or two lancelot to varis.

Here's my list. I'm having trouble with the hard dailies, and the challenge missions. I feel like with these characters, I'm doing something VERY wrong if it's supposed to be easy.
For exp daily, you can deploy chiba & kallen in front of base, then deploy gloucester facing upward. Replace chiba with senba after deploying healer.
For challenge you probably could do up to t5/t6 if you level your healer. It's mostly tank+healer wit gloucester dps.
I'm still stuck at t7 because I dont have second healer leveled.
In case anyone here shares my moronation: To use the Player Skill in the bottom right, you hold-click and drag to bring the targeting out. Finally figured it out as I reached 3-20.

The Hard Event version starts at recc: 10k like the non-event Hard, so the Normal should reflect and be close to 2k-5k. Can't confirm, though.

4AM est (it's 7:30pm est now), there's a menu somewhere where it shows you the game time, I think the menu that lets you pick between a lot of options like inventory and missions

Not sure about Easy Modo, but "normal" Stage 1 is 10k rec power. That said, I'm slightly over 10k power and still got rekt, so...
I think the last stage of normal mode is 18k. Although rec power isn't really good indicator of how strong you're. Kmfs roster is more important. You can clear normal mode with less than 10k power is you have the right kmfs (aka multiple lancelot)

Are they good? I usually just used Lelouch on Jeremiah's KMF for ranged attacks instead of using expensive executioners, and Tohdou and Shirley are pretty underleveled atm while I'm using Kallen and Milly. But holy shit can Jeremiah and Suzaku not handle waves of enemies anymore for chapter 2

Worse due to the cost. It's more comparable to a Sutherland, but those are very easy to come by just by rolling.

You can always keep it for collection purpose since there's no other way to get more of them later unless you are paying, but it's just a worse Sutherland so there's no reason to waste your resources upgrading it.

While event limited banners get a rerun during anniversary, they haven't rerun any events so far, so missing event only characters can be quite problematic.

Yeah it's fricking crazy. If you only have one you're definitely better off using it in long range rather than short range. Cornelia's spear KMF is already a decent melee unit but the gap between the Varis Lancelot and the Sutherlands is immense.
so what should I pioritize in terms of crafting KMFs and weapons. I'm sure lancelot has good weapons but I still need someone to hold my hold so i don't end up bricked.
Sword upgrade is fine if you want to punch a bit harder, but your priority should be VARIS since it has the merit of not getting completely powercreeped by Shenhu, which you get one for free, and Air Cavalry later. Just don't bother with the 3rd weapon type.

Darlton is a measly level 10 along with Guilford, I didn't know what to do with them and I got Darlton pretty late
I don't actually use Darlton himself. Just his Gloucester KMF with the 4-long line attack. I was having Viletta use it first, but realized it was a solid means of bringing support without sacrificing meaningful damage contribution.
I second the Senba recommendation. Level 40+using Tohdoh's KMF has been enough for him to hold a line (and especially tank those butthole ranged units who hold back and shoot you). He was one of the MVPs for clearing the end of chapter 4 for me.
Because it's Code Geass I'm enjoying it more than Arknights, but god damn
