Already have played my wife’s game, though I still haven’t got the worst ending
This but unironically, I like how the Vestiges tied into the main cast. Sure the characters whose memories they were of weren’t bad but since they’re all dead it helped having it expand on traits and elements of one’s you actually know instead of know of
I enjoyed it. Played twice with hammer/greatsword heavy build and a short sword/magic hybrid build. Mia was cute and I love her JP VA. Cathedral was annoying but not that bad considering you have a minimap that tracks your trail so as long as you're not a brainlet it's very possible to find your way out.
>Mia was cute and I love her JP VA
Who doesn’t love Ai “Warcrimes? All the Time” Kayano?
Already did.
Wouldn't be opposed to another run through with a friend, though.
It's one of those games that's kind of mid but is a blast with a friend.
mad that there's no sequel.
I need another game where the Boss/enemy designers were CLEARLY fricking horny as shit and probably jerk offd at least once at their desk.

its beyond laughable how easy that fight becomes if you use the increase fire/cold defense gift
Even when you face them in the dungeons and one of them super powers up.
Did you get that gift around the bossfight, or earlier? Curious about what blood code it was from, because the game has a trend of giving you tools to help with a boss in the area before them, and I want to know if it's still the same here.
its been years since i really thought about it. But its most likely in one of the other blood codes that you have to ultize those tokens (i forgot what they are called) and unlock them.
I know its definitely possible to unlock them and pit them easily in whatever your current build is holding
I'm sure there's a wiki out there that will tell the exact blood code that gives them and where to get them.
The first time these two filtered me hard. Died like 50 times. On the second playthrough I beat them in one try without taking any damage, and I was like 20 levels lower than first time too. It was weird.
I really liked the idea of a anime dark souls but it didn't really do things right. It felt more like a God Eater game with its MMO-tier level design but got scrambled into a soulslike mid development. The gameplay alone felt more like it rewarded high damage one hit attacks since all enemies are damage sponges. The story and characters are complete garbage, complete waste of time.
That said, I love the art design and environments. Seeing breasts and ass with this much polish is nice. The best part of the engine was that it's easy to mod so you can get specific in what you want from your game in terms of costumes. The ass gameplay could also be modded too I guess.
I’m hoping for a sequel mainly because there were a lot of good ideas but they didn’t execute quite as well. Story and characters had interesting premises but felt like it was missing moments leading up to arcs. Gameplay felt floaty at times and hit feedback was a bit weak but overall the class system was interesting enough that I could deal with it. Level design was probably my least favourite aspect but that is easy enough to fix in a sequel.
Frankly I think CV did better than GE across the board, I wouldn't be surprised if it outsold all the GE games combined. So I wouldn't be surprised if they just ended up making Code Vein 2: God Eater edition, more Souls and less MH.
>sold over 3 million >mogged Pinocchio Souls all time peak on steam
What went right? I did not expect this game to do as well as it did. Where is the sequel now?
I beat CV with all the possible challenges: solo, lvl 1, pipe only, gift only, melee only, etc. Very fun game and Io is my kuudere wife.
Kinda wish they made a sequel, but i don't trust current year Bamco.
4 years since I last played this. Honestly, this is the first souls-like game that I ever finished. Maybe I'll give it a try again in the near future but without the companion.
also besides the fricking cathedral being a repetitive navigation nightmare, I think my biggest problem with Code Vein was how much they pissed away with a disjointed narrative despite the focus on it. the early game hammers down super hard on how desperate and bastardly the Revenants are, and how they're effectively vampire soldiers with no real cause anymore but survival, and then immediately you get hooked with "the good guy group" where this entire drama effectively stops mattering in favor of an evil mad scientist and a save the world with the power of memories and friendship plot. one that is blatantly chopped up and filled with production issues, like how there's an entire missing introduction to the game contextualizing why your character "wakes up again" in the flashback sequence.
I honestly feel like they had a darker or more elaborate plot in mind and then something happened or deadlines occurred and they just severely dialed shit back to be generic animu bullshit unless you go out of your way for bad endings.
game sucks
game makes me want to get sucked
I enjoyed the gameplay and narrative of Code Vein.

code vein? more like wiener vein.
because the girls cause massive erections.

I already did
COLLECT THOSE 400 MEDALS, ANON
sure thing
>opens cheat engine
I did. The DLC was a scam, though. And I bought the season pass like an idiot.
Would of been cool if from didn't let it die from the git go.
Dropped before they made me say goodbye to my wife io
Checkmate
the best ending
Already did.

>Mido just wanted to give everyone giant tittied monster gf's
why was anyone opposed to him?
Unironically did. Or at the very least give us big titty giant b***hes too
and i guess fat guy for baragay
>mad that there's no sequel.
God Eater
I liked her sword
I did. Needs a sequel. It's the only decent Souls game.
Possibly the worst souls clone
Bought it. Played a little. Dropped off cuz... life got busy? I think I'll pick it up again sometime.

Already did, I wish they made a second one instead of Scarlet Lobotomy.
>playing with a partner is way too easy
>playing solo is too frustrating
I'm good
Just play with Louis.
I did, but haven't in a while.
haha
Frick these two motherfrickers
Just become immune to ice/fire

IIRC before. Io's blood code gives it

>It's like Ornstein, right
>But you want to have sex with it
Did. Never finished it, though. Just didn't hold my attention the same way other Souls-likes did. Even with all the big titty waifus.
garbo game garbo waifus, rip anime souls, you weren't it lil homie ;(
I did. Sequel when.
I tried it once it was free on ps+, but dropped it quickly because it’s fricking trash.

Main game is 5/10, one of the worst final bosses ever.
The DLCs were so bad I‘m glad I got this shit for free from an anon here.
Sequel when, God Eater 3 and Scarlet Nexus both fricking sucked.
How would they even do sequel? Retcon? Shit ending canon?
>story
Who cares, I just want more boobas
It's called god eater.
Why would you retcon anything? The true ending is a perfect sequel bait.

dead game

1) already have
2) I like Mia
I already did anon.
enjoyed it, game did a really good job at letting you do cool stuff
I played GE:R and it just wasn't as fun as CV.
I dropped code vein because the controls felt floaty but liked lies of p
cant, im broke
it was like 3 bucks on sale
breasts should have been bigger
There will never be a sequel now that From Software is working with Bandai Namco again
I am playing it!
Yesterday i beat Hatsune Miku and entered that white area that people told is the worst part of the game
>i beat Hatsune Miku
The stripper?
>that white area that people told is the worst part of the game
What helped me the most to stop running in circles was to look down.
Paizuri
I did
I probably will again, as I am going through Soulslike addiction right now
>DLC is just more shitty depths dungeons with reskinned monsters from God Eater as bosses
You can't defend this

It's just a shitty Dark Souls 1 ripoff what's the point?
Nah.
When a game's sole selling point is the cute girls it's always a game not worth playing.
