stealth sport
Wtf, would never work.
Omg, eye opener.
Somehow 1st and 2nd post together are best post.
>Wtf, would never work.
homosexual it's a high level genre name. If I told you about an anime about samurai aliens you may think it's shit, but then you would miss out on Gintama. Hell here we go
>stealth capture the flag
i like it, like playing tf2 except every player is the spy
Should've read my whole comment. Also gintama s5 is hilarious.
>Wtf, would never work.
hide and seek except competitive
maybe a hitman sort of game where you need to fix the outcome of sports events without getting detected
literally diveball
I want a GTA-style game like this
>stealth sport
you have to sabotage games and rig bets while avoiding cameras and staff, sneak performancing enhancing drugs to your team members through security, etc
Sounds kinda boring
that's just stealth with zero sport elements
stealth sport should be like team-based hide and seek with some kind of points system and maybe a ball somewhere in there
basketball but if you get spotted they pull a gun and kill you
wouldn´t mind a sequel
Capture the flag?
>musical horror
I too listen to Van Der Graaf Generator
Thumper. The visuals aren't that scary on their own but the music/sound design is constant building tension with scarce few moments of release, and if you play it in VR (or with headphones in a dark room) everything is exaggerated tenfold. It's the opposite of the coin of things like Rez & Tetris Effect that use immersive soundscapes to put you into a calm trance-like state.
Stealth Shooter.
horror rts
That's how newbies see it.
Horror RTS
>Game has skinwalkers as hostile neutral enemies not on either team (Changelings like SC2 or spies like C&C)
>Troops won't auto-engage them, need to manually order an attack on them; do not appear on the minimap
>You are in your command center/headquarters. If one of these creatures infiltrates your command center, it will jumpscare you/kill you. You need to routinely swap camera back to your HQ to clear skinwalkers or face interruption at the worst moment.
>If you leave out individual troops as scouts they might get picked off by a skinwalker, whose AI either tries to infiltrate or take out lone targets
>When a unit is taken out by a skinwalker, it gives no engagement report, it simply disappears off the minimap without warning
There's some potential here.
Racing+ Train Sim

you individually control the limbs on your body as units. need to keep up oxygen production and other bodily functions while attacking your opponent's body in select spots. like toribash, but even more autistic

Fighter City Sim
Choose your Kaiju and rampage away!
already exists, war of the monsters
>You're the mayor of a city that suffers from constant kaiju attacks
>To deal with this, scientists construct a super fighting robot for you to pilot to battle them
>The game has two main phases
>The most obvious one is the fighting phase, where you battle the kaiju while trying to minimize collateral damage
>The second is the city sim phase in between the attacks
>You have to rebuild the city in-between battles, while also meeting the needs of the citizens and trying to keep your budget in the black
>How you build and design the city can also affect how the fights go
>For instance, leaving a lot of unincorporated land gives you a place to fight without destroying thing, but that's also leaves a lot of land unused
>A nuclear power plant can provide a lot of electricity, but you're fricked if it gets destroyed during a fight
>If you got spare cash you can also build traps to push the kaiju into
The two together naturally gives it a Tower Defense vibe. I love it. Would buy the early access on sale and forget about it until well after 1.0
>A nuclear power plant
creates way more kaiju if destroyed
>Small chance that it causes a citizen to become 50ft tall and help you fight the kaiju
>Fighting Horror
Every time a monster jumpscares you, you have a small window to sucker punch him to avoid game over, stun him and book it and hide
Ah, Metroid Dread
Rather than playing as a frightened everyman, you play as a hardened martial artist.
You can, theoretically, engage the monsters and beat the shit out of them with your bare hands, but they're so much stronger than you that you'll get your ass handed to you unless you're a super tryhard.
What you're supposed to do is run, hide, and solve puzzles, at most maybe you have a brief skirmish that's focused more on disengaging and escaping than actually doing damage. You do this until you're able to discover its weakness or lure it into circumstances that give you an advantage over it, then you beat the shit out of it.
Sub marine stealth
Space sim horror
>Stealth-Life-Sim
You play as a stalker trying to spy on girls who are going about their daily lives. The goal is to take risqué pictures of them without getting caught. It plays like Hitman, but it’s about stalking and being a creep instead of killing.
Natsuiro High School
That's not the full title you coward
so? I just put enough for anon to google it.
RPG + Hack 'n Slash
Absurd. Absolutely ridiculous
Get this man out of here
That's Kingdom Hearts 2
>stealth puzzle
Hitman already exists, anon. The devs even describe it as a stealth puzzle game.
>"Puzzle game"

wow
theres nothing puzzle about hitman they are just sucking themselves off

You're building up a small town by the ocean in New England, but weird shit keeps happening. You have to keep a constant eye on your administrative staff to make sure they're still right in the head, and to monitor strange happenings amongst the townsfolk. Outsiders must also be dealt with somehow.

musical + flight sim
>roguelike sport
Where's my fricking snooker game with randomized upgrades.
Stealth + City Sim
Warhammer Fantasy Skaven game. Undermine a city without them noticing until you are ready to completely overrun the place and move on to the next. Starting level is a few hovels and endgame are main imperial cities.
Space Sim/RPG
But instead of Starfield, I'd be down for a 4-player dungeon crawler-esque game.
Think PSO grind-a-thon, but you fly a ship and collect rare materials/weapons and shit.

I'd give it a spin
>musical flight sim

Ace Combat is like that some times
>Musical Adventure
it could be kino.
City Sim Roguelike
instead of building a city, you are given control over a randomized city district and have to manage whatever grievous issues are plaguing the neighborhood. Could be financial woes, utility dropouts, infrastructure failure, services mismanagement, rampant crime, legal/political corruption, etc
much of the time it would play out more like a crime mystery as you try to figure out where the issue lies and who to fire
>city sim platformer
You have to build up a town with interesting architecture so urban explorers and Parkourists show up and part of the game is mirror edge style parkour through the city you built
Horror + Flight Sim
I've posted this idea multiple times in horror threads. It's a flight sim, but in a storm so you've got to be on point and there are scary flying monsters in the storm. Make it a commercial airliner so you have stewardesses and passengers you can leave the wienerpit to interact with and you have a game.
that's just that twilight zone episode, you know the one
Yeah. Imagine you're the pilot and it starts like that. Having to fly and deal with the passenger. Then it escalates. Solid horror game premise with real gameplay.

Stealth City Sim.
You have to infiltrate the local government and replace their plan for the city with your own.
>Horror
>Submarine Sim
Deep space/oceans are arguably the best setting for horror
There's some multiplayer game where you choose a crew role and fight off monsters while maintaining the sub. Looked unique if maybe a bit janky.
Iron Lung is pretty basic and its gameplay gimmick is built around not actually seeing what's outside the sub beyond a radar and photography camera but it's a deep space submarine horror game all right.
City sim + strategy
I want a cities skylines + frost punk + company of heroes + wargame: red dragon
What even is Kino?
Something Awesome
the best sub horror game is Silent Hunter with all the realism settings turned to max
Open world + life sim.
It’s basically just real life, but since it’s not real you have the courage to go out and do the things you’re to afraid to in the real world.
Horror Flight Sim
Metroidvania Kart Racer
I feel like this would be a huge hit if it was done competently in terms of traversal and making it clear where you are on the map. Even the combat wouldn't be hard, just have an inventory of reworked kart racer weapons that you toss at other vehicles blocking your way.
>submarine sim
eh? that's a real thing?
Dating way back to C64 times, yeah.
bruh https://store.steampowered.com/app/15210/Silent_Hunter_III/
Train Sim/space Sim with an entirely funk ost and artstyle.
This train ride is out of this world
City sim/life sim - you build your city and then walk around as a mayor
Sport/life sim is nothing new but would be great as well so you have something to do besides the sport part
racing submarine simulator
no need to thank
black
Stealth and Life sim
You have to start, provide for, and raise a family without anyone knowing.
Rougelike racing
Goal: reach the end of the racing season
>each race gets you potential sponsors/contracts to gain access to parts
>can do research, gain blueprints randomly on courses, etc.
>outfit your car with whatever parts you can find or afford
>season comes in segments of 4 races, you need to score a number of points based on your position to continue later into the season - fail and you're out, file deleted
>tracks randomized
It's just Darkest Dungeon with a LITTLE more emphasis on the town.
A lot of fighters have introduced a sort of ally tagteam system, obviously you have to build up your relationship in a Fire Emblem-esque datingsim thing.
I can already imagine the Ganker posts
>If you hid from monsters at any point you didn't beat the game.
horror city sim
Fighting + life sim
Imagine the comfy lobbies.
Give me the kino that i have never got now!
>Fighting Strategy
I wish there were more. YOMI Hustle basically invented the most literal definition of it this year.
A strategy game where the units fight like a fighting game has happened a few times but it's rare and usually jank. The Unholy War was kind of like that, and Checkmate Showdown tried to do it for chess in a way I'd say is successful.
Then there's strategy games that let you do a fighting game combo when you attack, but that's limited to the SRW OG Saga Endless Frontier duology and Project X Zone 2 in terms of ones that are actually good games.
>City sim Racing
You constract and manage your fully functional city, in which you, the mayor, participate in illegal street racing, trying to balance the city's budget (a part of which you embezzle for the needs of your hobby) and get voted for another term despite your street racing obsession.
I had an idea for a fighting/rpg game that basically worked with the ATB system. Once you started a combo the battle menu opens were timed and you had to pick the right one or drop the combo
Stealth racing. If one of your opponents sees you during the race you're out
Stealth musical sounds fun
Could be like hitman where the phases are in tune with the music but you must sneak to the music like Hellsinger
Open World + Stealth
>Stealth MMO
Stealth City sim
You're the leader of a revolutionary society, and you have to build and expand your network and city of rebel fighters without getting found out.
Train sim battle royale
I always wanted to see how a rhythm racer would work, not like audio surf, but a game where you actually need to follow a song while racing other people, the rhythm heaven crew managed to make a rhythm fighting game so maybe they can pull it off
Adventure Platformer
Rpg life sim
Stealth life sim. Escape your parents' basement to get food from the fridge without them introducing you to their friends as their middle-aged loser goblin child.
shooter flight sim
>sport + realistic space sim
Fighting + Sport
A martial arts or boxing simulator that plays like a fighting game
Fighting Roguelike
I choose to combine the Hunting ARPG (i.e. Monster Hunter) with the Survival genre (i.e. Minecraft, Conan Exiles, Rust).
Monster Hunter already has all of the gathering, crafting, and material stuff you need, so would just need to add systems for needing to eat the monsters you kill (the game already has a big focus on food, just nothing about starving to death), as well as add systems for building a base to hunt from. I feel like it'd work really well and just be adding systems that mesh well with Monster Hunter's existing vibes. Like having World's expeditions but more commitment, where you need to build your camp to be defensible against attacking monsters, and you need to hunt to survive instead of just for gear materials.
Ark?
Train sim/Flight sim
Steampunk game in which your train needs to build enough speed to take to the skies and then land back on its track
Fighting/Platformer/Shooter
in 3D
Shooter/Flight/Space Sim and Strategy needs to come back
>average player on either team basically plays it like an FPS or a dogfighter
>maybe they have base building capabilities
>each team has a commander that researches upgrades, new weapons, new classes, new ships, etc depending on what the main genre is
>also manages the base building if players aren't expected to do that shit, has special abilities like calling in reinforcement spawn points or wall hack scans or whatever the frick
>can order players around and they can tell him to frick off
>maybe they can produce generic AI units and order them around
there's been a few games like this but it's really rare. Battlefield isn't quite what I'm describing cuz commanders don't have much RTS aspects to their gameplay, something more like Urban Assault or Allegiance
Train sim sport
Rhythm Fighting
Play draglade
stealth fighting
You need to beat up your siblings / other kids without your parents or other adults catching you.
Should play like arkham asylum stealth segments, except you're both batman

Flight Sim, Shooter, give me a fricking decent Macross game you cowards its been like since Macross 30 that there's been a game that does what I want it too.
>space sim/puzzle
You have to beat arbitrary goal with zachtronics style scoreboard using minimal time/resources.
fighting space sim, its set in the cold war during the space race and you compete with the oppositing faction to outcompete their R&D sector via espionage, combat and other cold war themed shit idk lol
City Sim + Dungeon Crawler.
Your only source of resources to build your city is from the dungeon.
City sim + RPG. You have to develop youe Town enough to hace capable enough Warriors, which You send to dungeons to financiate the growt.
