I heard quite a few big mods have been released in the last few weeks. I am tempted to look... but I also don't have time for lengthy periods of play. A conundrum.
Sim settlements 2 is basically its own game. Adds a good amount of depth to settlement building but also and equal amount of jank due to all the scripts and the handling of resource caps not being very well thought out
This mod does not add any new content. It just turns all the Black and Asian npcs into White people and turns all female combatants into men. Even the Assaultron robobots have their feminine looking robot forms made more masculine, for some fricking reason? Even a bunch of NPCs had really had no reason, even in an extremely patriarchal society, were turned into men just because: Trashcan Carla is Trashcan Carl, and Trudy at Drumlin Diner (where you side with either her or the chem dealer) is now a dude named 'Thomas'.
tl;dr no new content added, just turned switched everyone's race to white and made every female NPC that has a job into a male

Doctor Sun was redesigned and revoiced as Doctor Price. Pastor Clements was reworked and revoiced as White, and the “All-Faiths Chapel” is now “Christ’s Chapel.” One of the two city guards was revoiced as White. Myrna was reworked as White. Mister Zwicky can no longer marry his robot assistant, Miss Edna, (A serious church wouldn’t allow this) and the Lone Survivor’s interactions with her have been altered. Sheng Kawolski was renamed to Shay Kawolski.
Some of this is definitely overboard & the church thing is arguably not accurate since a lot of people in the northeast have always been radical leftists relative to the rest of the population, as it stands in vanilla could definitely pass as realistic.

I think it's more that a ton of time and effort went into a mod that does nothing of value.
the voice acting and new scenarios are pretty impressive but there's a lot more wrong with fo4 than just Black folk
