>japanese disney
if nintendo acted more like disney you snoys would fricking love them because they'd be more including of gay shit and virtue signaling
Frame dips near the Master Sword Pedestal are absolutely inexcusable. That's why. Still own every important Zelda CIB. Nintendo can grab a spoon and eat my balls for that honestly. Still a drone for them. Will buy BOTW2. Oh well.
Mah homie. Autumn is always the best and comfiest.
Having said that I genuinely think Kakariko is peak comfy, it's the comfiest place in almost every Zelda it's in. Also love that they added plum blossoms instead of cherry, the patrician choice.
There' plenty of places to hate in Elden Ring's map, but come the frick on Caelid is one of the most kino areas in any video game ever. It's probably one of the best done hellscapes ever. It's only objective flaw is it doesn't have a "legacy dungeon" but instead just a big fort with a big boss fight.
Elden Ring had a neat looking map but is also spoiled damn near everything on it move you had the pieces, hardly were you ever required to actually explore for dungeons or unique locations.
Nah. I liked both games but BotW map design is superior due to backtracking without fast travel being much more reasonable. Elden Rings map is much more linear, so if you want to go back to an area you essentially have to move back through every other area between that point before getting there.
The BotW map on the other hand is more spherical/flat, so backtracking to any location isn't as much of a headache because you can do it from any direction.
I enjoyed BotW but after awhile the exploration felt pointless. Like I'd never find anything truly unique and rad. Sure there's always more trials to grind through, but after a point more health and stamina felt worthless. Any weapon you find breaks, and after fully upgrading one set of armor I had no desire to do it for others.
It just all felt worthless after a fashion.
And they were so close to at least replicating the wonder of the first game that they were trying to get back, literally all they needed was more actual content to shove everywhere
A few extra mini-dungeon tilesets for variety instead of the same shrines everywhere, and actual real dungeons placed around the world and even hidden, instead of just the dumb mechs
Nothing. Nothing happens anywhere in this game. The map is just landscapes and music with 4 monsters in each corner and some mediocre towns with like a single shop and an inn.
You know, this isn't a poke at botw. And I understand they do this because of player time and game limitations. But I fricking hate how they always cram like 5+ different biomes onto a small island in open world games. It drives my autism nuts.
The top left tundra was a big ass dissapointment
The entire goron area is great, I loved how you actually had to go out of your way to get the elixers, I was expecting getting there to be easy but go pleasantly surprised
The entire are surrounding the zora's city is great, lots of shit to find
I would have liked a few more towns
The whole Western area of the map in general feels unfinished compared to the density of shrines and locations to the East. Also who in the ever loving God would call a dead haunted forest in the middle of an arid wasteland surrounded by a lake "great" is beyond me.
>try remembering the comfiest places in the map just off the top of my head >this many show up
God I love this game, just chilling around feels so good
When I started to get bored of the post game, I would just hang around tarrey town and the lab messing around with the game mechanics. It's my favorite region.
Your hype will be disappointed.
If a game (much more a Nintendo game) is in development hell for this long, it's going to be shit.
Especially since it's a fricking asset flip with the same map.
i saw a size comparison once, botw map is about 2.5 times the size of mondstadt + liyue. with dragonspine, inazuma and the chasm that figure's probably narrowed considerably to something like 1.25x. genshin's map will likely overtake botw with the next major update, i assume.
lmao it's literally a fricking square, jesus christ nintendo
sony lost
>nintentroony thinks everyone who hates japanese disney is a snoygay
>japanese disney
if nintendo acted more like disney you snoys would fricking love them because they'd be more including of gay shit and virtue signaling
That’s how large landscapes are usually devised yes, that or rectangles.
idk, would you like it to be a circle? dumb b***h lmao
its a square so everything is equal distance from the centre you dumb fricking snoyn166er
Why is it so empty?
because nintendo sucks at world design
It's a post apocalyptic world
Outer hateno
Goron's springs or whatever its called
Zora's town after controlling Van Ruta
Because the real world is very large and empty and it's great to actually have a game like that instead of a tiny cluttered map.
>Because the real world is very large and empty
When was the last time you went outside, holy shit....
>Why is it so empty?
It's called Breath of the Wild, not the Odor of San Fransisco.
why is it so small?
Just how did this 2005 game completely rape & gape the 2017 Breath of the Wild?
looks like shit
You can't b***h about big empty games and then post that. Come on anon
shadow of the crapolosus
>big empty spaces
>you can climb things
breath of the manchild
>big empty spaces
>you can climb things
>crafting
>weapons break
>skateboarding on a shield
yep, im thinking nintendo once again BTFO SNOY with BOTW
this game looks so fricking bad emulated jesus
>muh post processing is bad
not when it's part of the game's vision
Toss up between Lurelin and Hateno but this pic makes the world look way more artificial
Hateno is home. Can't wait to see underground city and sky comfiness.
I can't wait to have another empty game that they spent years of dev time just tacking an extra 33% map volume onto instead of making real content
k
Why are you posting screenshots of the PC version of BotW
Frame dips near the Master Sword Pedestal are absolutely inexcusable. That's why. Still own every important Zelda CIB. Nintendo can grab a spoon and eat my balls for that honestly. Still a drone for them. Will buy BOTW2. Oh well.
what do they eat?
Akalla region is comfy. I also like the area between mount Lanayru and Lanayru proper.
Why is it [negative thing?]
NYEHEHEHEHE!!! iM CLEVER!! HEHENYEHEHEHEHEHENNJYEYEHEHEH!!!
Seething nincel
lmao it's literally a frickin square, jesus christ
There are two states more square right next to it, Anon.
fricking nintendo
Do ameritoddlers really?
We don't have dealings with those who live in the square states.
I hate square states so much is unreal.
>noo how dare you not worship satan and schwab and have cheap cost of living
OP isn't a map of a man made border, do you think the lines are natural formations?
it's literally the best state though
Just how did this 1985 game complete rape & gape the 2017 Breath of the Wild?
Unbelievably, unequivocally based and redpilled. Well played, space harrieranon
Kiyama? Get back to making bayo3 you twat.
>five years later and snoys are still seething over botw
Will they ever recover?
it's probably more fun to them than playing their exclusives
that would explain it
gonna be real awkward when the PS5 outsells the shitch for this board
If anything that would just prove that quality has nothing to do with consumer trends
oink oink eric.
Eat your crows.
I’ll never understand consolefsggotry
>Will they ever recover?
No.
gaylord
All they have to look forward to this year is Anthony Burch's God of War.
it's more fun than playing anything on the ps5-
botw and b***hing about botw both
bump
nooo, nooo, NOOOO, NOOO, YOU WILL DAAAAAAAAAH
hey Ganker
i dont like breath of the wild
HAH!!! controversial opinion!! Im ... BAD... FRICKIN... ASS!!!
ahem...
durability
empty world
boring temples
heh, yes, i am based....
It's Akkala. Love that 'eternal fall' setting.
Mah homie. Autumn is always the best and comfiest.
Having said that I genuinely think Kakariko is peak comfy, it's the comfiest place in almost every Zelda it's in. Also love that they added plum blossoms instead of cherry, the patrician choice.
akkala durng thunderstorm (so always lmao) is super comfy.
that's... rather unappealing.
and here's elden rings map.
beautiful, gorgeous
not autistic
an actual map.
do ninten idiots really??
>elden bing
>good
lol and lmao
KINOlid
>you instantly know what's going on because everything is so memorable and recognizable
You just proved his point, you know that?
Greyoll was unable to move from her spot meaning you could rape her bagina with nothing to stop you.
SOUL
SOULSLIKE
>no topographic map
>doesn't adapt for zoom scales
its shit
brainwashed. keep licking nintendos soles
Elden Ring had a neat looking map but is also spoiled damn near everything on it move you had the pieces, hardly were you ever required to actually explore for dungeons or unique locations.
Why is it so empty?
like your head Yamauchi slave
Nah. I liked both games but BotW map design is superior due to backtracking without fast travel being much more reasonable. Elden Rings map is much more linear, so if you want to go back to an area you essentially have to move back through every other area between that point before getting there.

>see game everyone likes
>i dont like it
>make sure everyone knows i dont like it
You can like the game and still dislike how much of a square the map is
who gives a frick if it's square? would you rather a giant area of endless water so the world map is less full of land?
I would rather have a unique world shape that makes the landmass I'm putting hours of exploration into more believable
ultimate autism
Yes.
so your so autistic your constantly pausing the game- zooming out the map and sperging at the square landmass that was blocked out for the game
you homosexuals die on the weirdest hills
a map being square when zoomed out 300 percent- i just
This isn't the 4th gen, we don't need square maps anymore
>muh square map
>AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SAVE ME CIRCLEMAN
You realize basically all video games exist in square maps right?
Has anyone accurately remade all of BotW in Minecraft yet?
>literally make fun of it
>"I'm not c-crying, you a-are! Rent f-free!"
Nintendies coping lmao
>comfiest locations in botw?
Riju's room. But Patricia's playpen right next to her room is good too.
Literally the second you can see the full lay of the land your immersion drops through the floorboards.
Try to deny it. You can't.
except your wrong and never played the game besides watching youtubers play it- or you pirated it- it bugged out and you were able to confirm you bias
what minecraft seed this?
Has BotW's Hyrule been recreated 1:1 in Minecraft yet? I'm positive some autistic frick has done it by now.
Why is the map so tiny?
Akkala, the Great Plateau, and the snowy places.
for me it's the bottom right corner of the map
Undisputed facts.
I read the thread as comfiest places in gaming.
Disregard this, I suck wieners.
I enjoyed BotW but after awhile the exploration felt pointless. Like I'd never find anything truly unique and rad. Sure there's always more trials to grind through, but after a point more health and stamina felt worthless. Any weapon you find breaks, and after fully upgrading one set of armor I had no desire to do it for others.

>literally a square
>geography makes no sense at all
>tiny
And nintards are proud of this somehow?
Birb village
christ that looks like dogshit.
have sex nintenlosers
mondstadt and inazuma
>That huge empty chasm
I hate this
>>That huge empty chasm
What?
i saw someone using a switch in public, i basically laughed loudly in their face. nothing gets a gal drier than those "people"
Here ya go.
If you know you know.
>that bottom place
This and the Gerudo/(Faron?) Grasslands are max comfy.
What happens there?
Comfy atmosphere and views.
That's all.
Nothing. Nothing happens anywhere in this game. The map is just landscapes and music with 4 monsters in each corner and some mediocre towns with like a single shop and an inn.
>tingle island
gay ass
>lanaryu promenade
true
>wind islands where kass 'helped' you
fair.
>guardian beach/horse goddess/archery course
fair.
The autumn place in the northwest or the zora region. Those were my favorite areas.
I meant northeast fuk
I like the Rito Village Inn. Cecili probably crawls into bed with men when you pay for the feather bed option.
absolutely
I will always be a sucker for beach towns
Jungle and beaches in the south.
None of them, the entire game is devoid of soul that the previous games had.
You know, this isn't a poke at botw. And I understand they do this because of player time and game limitations. But I fricking hate how they always cram like 5+ different biomes onto a small island in open world games. It drives my autism nuts.
Looking at that map makes me want to play Link to the Past instead.
>A
>FRICKING
>RECTANGLE
You can tell this map was made by somebody in Queensland, Australia because nobody else in the world ever even thinks about Brisbane if unprompted.
>not australia
>the island is mysterios, the skull
lmao. wow.
I played this game 5 years ago, so my memory is hazy, but I always liked the Zora and Rito areas.
>Walking into gamestop from the rain
hehehehe
The top left tundra was a big ass dissapointment
The entire goron area is great, I loved how you actually had to go out of your way to get the elixers, I was expecting getting there to be easy but go pleasantly surprised

I wonder if the "two people draw the map in one afternoon" thing was ever real, if they did it here someone was being lazy
top right
Link's bussy
Akkala and the zora river basin
>try remembering the comfiest places in the map just off the top of my head
>this many show up
God I love this game, just chilling around feels so good
Half of those places are direct focal points in the main quest.
I think he's asking for places off the beaten path.
When I started to get bored of the post game, I would just hang around tarrey town and the lab messing around with the game mechanics. It's my favorite region.
>just circles the towns and stables
Dumb post
>mount Satoly
>half of the rito region
>the souther one doesn't cover the stable (I think)
>the bazaar
>kokiri forest
>half of the Akkala circle
>"just towns and stables"
the snowy parts next to the desert
>wake up
>remember brap island exists
>day ruined
I fricking hate those ruins so much it's unreal.
where are we dropping boys?
Hopefully they let you skydrop right into the volcano on Death Mountain only to end up in some underground kino. Hype is too much,
Your hype will be disappointed.
If a game (much more a Nintendo game) is in development hell for this long, it's going to be shit.
Especially since it's a fricking asset flip with the same map.
on your chest
For curiosity's sake, how big is this map compared to genshin's two starting regions?
i saw a size comparison once, botw map is about 2.5 times the size of mondstadt + liyue. with dragonspine, inazuma and the chasm that figure's probably narrowed considerably to something like 1.25x. genshin's map will likely overtake botw with the next major update, i assume.
I loved the entire forest area in the south. It brought me right back to exploring Stranglethorn Vale for the first time way back in the day.
the whole game
just give me more shield surfing kino nintendo
All of it. They just need to ease up a little bit on the atmospheric fog, which I hope they do for BotW2.
Yeah
You know if you go far north you can see another land mass. Is that considered party of hyrule?
WTF
Nah, probably a neighboring kingdom like ages/oracle had.
Hateno Village for the theme and Kakariko Village for the aesthetics. Otherwise, this game was totally boring and one note.
>op asks a simple question
>Ganker goes apeshit about the game
every fricking time
tfw no massive desert beach to frolic in
Not being able to use the bike here is fricking criminal.
try biking on sand
just toss in a quest for sand/snow tire upgrades. boom done.
why didnt botw have a fishing minigame
short deadrine preaseo undestandu
Yeah
