A game WIP I found on Twitter.
i watched this webm twice before realizing hes not fighting giant mushrooms
Looks pretty fun. Name?
This is the guy's Twitter https://twitter.com/deepnightfr
Thanks!
So that's showing how the enemies are programed to track and attack you. neat
neat
Great concept, absolutely horrid ugly art.
People need to play some actual 8/16bit games to learn older games actually looked good if they weren't amiga trash.
Reminds me of those karate movies where enemies stand around MC waiting for their turn, that's pretty neat for vidya, I guess.
I have character concepts in my head and I'm working on getting everything as detailed as possible on paper but ultimately I can't draw for shit, the most obvious solution is hiring an artist but the scale of the project feels to small for it to be worth it, what would you do in this situation?
part of me wants to learn the basics of drawing because it seems like a valuable skill if I'm gonna keep creating small projects until I find something I want to put a lot more time into
what are you doing with the art? do you just want concept art of your idea or are you trying to make assets tobe used in the game?
>are you trying to make assets tobe used in the game?
this one, I want the assets to represent the characters in my head so I don't think asset flipping or whatever it's called would be useful here
my art is little stick drawings give me a minute and I'll post what I have
if you ever think your art isnt good enough for dame idea guya stuff, look up chris metzen's art
I mean Metzen had great pixel artists carry his ideas well into the actual games
here
the idea is that all 3 characters start with 2 weapons but later in the game they get to specialize in one of them
My newyears resolution is to create ONE video game
>want to do simple 3D game
>don't want to use Unity after they bought that maleware company
What engine can I use for this?
Godot or Unreal.
unigine.
godot.
unreal
other shit.
The malware isn’t in the engine and even if it was you could just use an older version of unity like every company that uses unity does
I swear I never understood this kind of tech illiterate hysteria. I feel like I’m above most people and that you’re all like dogs or a type of cattle.
It's not just the ads but the direction and message it shows when they merged with the Israeli malware ad company.
It shows that Unity is more interested in focusing on ads (since they literally merged with an ad company), and that they don't want to focus on the technology as much (when they laid off the entire gigaya department).
Is Unity going to be malware? Maybe, maybe not.
Is Unity going to be focusing more on ads? Absolutely.
>telemetry isn't malware
rope
>I feel like I’m above most people and that you’re all like dogs or a type of cattle.
I feel the same way and I use Unreal.
Don't worry, people who judge a tool (or literally anything) based on news headlines are already filtered themselves out of gamedev.
My main problem with it is how much shit you have to install in first place and how half-baked many features are.
>check Ganker
>gamedev thread on top of index
Nice.
I'm like 5 layers deep in getting distracted with other things so I can't make progress on actual games. My previous distraction was "what if you generated fractal noise except you rotate and scale every layer differently?". It seems like an interesting way to do unique procedural generation, for example you could add long diagonal stripes into the noise or whatever.
Then I wanted to make a noise visualizer that lets you tweak values and submit a custom algorithm that changes the noise, which led to my current distraction: how to parse an algorithm (from a string) and calculate some values with it.
There is a type of game genre that is just small simple distraction like toys, you could just make a bunch or collections of those. No offense. but you might also have some kind of ADHD and autism.
>you might also have some kind of ADHD and autism
I literally do but mostly I just find these things interesting.
Iterating cloth painting in Unreal is fricking hell. Why in god's name does it have to rebuild all of the LODs every single time I deactivate cloth paint? How can there be no faster way to iterate on goddamn floats assigned to vertices than to do a complete recalculation of all LOD parameters for no goddamn reason.
I have spent more time staring at this message than actually getting anything done for the last 4 hours.
Murida, what's the point
My game will be only good one in its genreniche, and perhaps the only good one in its genre.
I've been going back through some old popular indie games from like 2010 and I can't help but think that if they were released today nobody would have even played them. it's unironically ogre for the average indie teams
Over 10,000 releases and only problem 25 of them are good
'Ate it
More games need cute romanceable girls, period.
Will you be making this game for us? Good art btw.
Yes, code wise it will be ready this year
Once she is completed in full I will post some of the lewd stuff I have. Granted its not a hentai game
>not a hentai game
dropped
Post uncensored
She's cute, do you post progress anywhere?
Only in the game's discord. Progress is slow due to the game being massive.
I like a good bush but I don't think it fits this specific companion.
Nice, but you forgot the pubes.
her boobs are too small
I will not play your game
I prefer them to sag a little, hang a little lower
She's only 103cm, so her breasts are actually massive relative to her size. This is also only a test design and not finalised work. Her more current iterations have increased breast size.
I actually like them saggier, but that is not reflected in the design I have posted. I would describe her canon breasts as banana-style, slightly saggy from being so big. But still perky
>massive
nope don't see it. too small.
Here's some concept art I drew for my next VR project. Planned to be released sometime next year.
So do you play as the girl, the kidnapper, or the ghost?
The ghost. It's basically paranormal activity but you don't want to get caught.
Been detailing the monster designs. What should I add?
make it more shy and feminine
It's supposed to be a pulsating mass of elephantine flesh on a pair of hairy legs that sprints at you and rams into you
I thought it was a rock
>a pulsating mass of elephantine flesh on a pair of hairy legs
Women, right?
Not really
I don't like any of these honestly.
Finally decided at 31 what I want to be when I grow up. A software developer.
>when I grow up
uh, anon
Only 76 hours left until the month ends and my Game Jam Project for January still isn't done.
I'm devvan as fast as I can.
>January is almost over already
But 2023 just started
does anyone think that games could be structured algorithmically?
like, replayability being added to games through different permutations of map structure, gameplay objects, objective sequences and character abilities?
Isn't that how most rogues are made? Like that one game with digging and the dwarfs, but I'm sure it's possible. Everything can be made into a science.
i mean binding of isaac and 30XX are great examples of putting different pieces of levels together in certain ways, but i kinda wish that entire campaign-esque games could be structured that way, with no "final death" thing but with a seed-based system to save best results
if i make a game i will definately try to make it wiki proof by making items and recipes and problems in the game randomly generated
Got a map in. Need to rotate the arm when choosing different spots on it, looks a bit stiff as of now.
Also I had planned to put the game out mid-late march, but I see there's a steam spring sale going on then...Now I have to decide if I want to release it within the first few days of March, or wait till mid April. It would be nice to do mid April since it would give me time to polish up nicely, but I've already delayed this game so much...
Oh and the link in case you want to wishlist

comfy looking vibes, wishlisted
wishlisted your game yesterday fren, this looks like a great project and am looking forward to giving it a go.
Thank you fren, appreciate it!
Looks solid, I see the effort
I can't wrap my head around Unreal blueprinting.
How the frick does Casting work?
had a rare stroke of genius today
can you date it?

You should temporarily center the camera on the character that is speaking so it's easier to tell who is talking.
I like the idea of being punished for failing negotiations. It's genius actually.
>I want the Earth bounded migami tensei audience
looks neat though, good luck anon.

comfy as frick.
I want to make a low poly hack and slash featuring a femboy protagonist. Gameplay takes cues from KH. Your basic combos, dodging and that sorta stuff uses normal inputs, and you have a deck of cards to use special moves that cost MP, and you can chain specific cards together to have stronger combo moves come out.
All I can do is make sprites though, trying to learn Unreal Engine but I'm no programmer, that shit is hard.
Please tell me he beats up drag queens
Currently flipping my anime girl inside out
what game?
Gimmiko!
Listening to Final Fight SNES soundtrack to get ideas, it's really helpful to be able to disable individual channels so you can listen to one channel at a time.
God damn that port sounds like dogshit though.
Does Godot ever stop feeling clunky? Is there a better engine? What do you guys use?

I made my own with C++ and Vulkan.
Before some Black person says enginedev is bad, both unreal and unity have abysmal performance for simulation-heavy games, and Clausewitz/Jomini is proprietary. It wasn't optional.
Game Engines are overblown anyway. The best things they offer are stable serialization and platform SDKs for deployment and controller input.
tbqh cereal and SDL handle both of those respectively anyways.
I think SDL2 is used fricking everywhere, especially on 'classic game ports'.
After much time debating which engine to use, I ended up thinking of making my own as well, even if it takes much longer.
I have programmed quite a bit, but when it comes to graphic environments I'm completely inexperienced, so I've been slowly tinkering with OpenGL. What are the benefits of Vulkan over it?
It's cross platform and has better performances, it's also way harder.
>After much time debating which engine to use, I ended up thinking of making my own as well
>but when it comes to graphic environments I'm completely inexperienced, so I've been slowly tinkering with OpenGL.
Ah, so you decide to never make a game ever.
Good for you.
Even if a novice, I'm a programmer at heart, which is why I'd even consider writing things myself. I'm creatively bankrupt, so even if I finished a game with another engine, I hardly think it would be a good game.
I enjoy writing code, so writing things myself makes the entire thing more satisfactory, and learning how to program graphical things is by no means a bad investment, I think.
Thanks anon
Vulkan is too verbose. Unless you really want to spend your time figuring out how to allocate your memory on the GPU, I'd recommend OpenGL.
It's really rewarding when you get used to these low level graphic APIs though, now it feels like every graphic feature is about 3 steps away. Performance is still a bit of a pain, but it's way better than being stuck with a limited set of drawables in an conventional engine.
Vulkan gives you extremely tight control over your program's rendering, so you can often get away with more optimization. More importantly, Vulkan is not a graphics API, it's a GPU API. Subtle distinction, but Vulkan is intended from the ground up to use GPUs as general computing devices. A lot of essential graphics features, like presenting to the queue, are actually extensions rather than part of the core API, because the core API is just for controlling a GPU. As a result using compute shaders is much, much more easy in Vulkan, and compute shaders are very powerful for things like culling.
Also, when it comes to tutorials, half the OpenGL tutorials you'll find will be for ancient immediate mode rendering techniques that you should never use, half the remainder will be for retained but naive draw-call-for-every-object rendering, and half the remainder of that will teach you about proper batching techniques and such but will still be limited. And you'll have to sift hard to find those. Conversely Vulkan is new and doesn't have all the shitty tutorials floating around; you'll learn modern, efficient techniques with them. So it's easier to find learning resources. At the same time, learning OpenGL does make Vulkan easier to learn because while OpenGL hides a lot of stuff (and lies about a lot of stuff... like the "24-bit image" that doesn't actually exist on most GPUs) it still does teach you some stuff about how GPUs work.
However, unless you're actually writing something with high performance requirements, I wouldn't necessarily recommend Vulkan. OpenGL often suffices, particularly with AZDO techniques. Batching your meshes, implementing a good LOD system, and doing reasonable culling (especially if you can sort out compute culling with OpenGL, but good luck with that) will get you far more performance gains than switching to Vulkan alone
Thread is dying
Gamedev is dead...
it too frickin tedious and hard. thats why u need to be hyper active with losts of free time to solodev proper

I was thinking of using online games as advertising.

>Google AI can create music in any genre from a text description
>The AI can not only combine genres and instruments, but write tracks using abstract concepts that are normally difficult for computers to grasp. If you want a hybrid of dance music and reggaeton with a "spacey, otherworldly" tune that evokes a "sense of wonder and awe," MusicLM can make it happen. The technology can even craft melodies based on humming, whistling or the description of a painting. A story mode can stitch several descriptions together to produce a DJ set or soundtrack.

bought Clickteam Fusion 2.5 a while back but haven't touched it in forever. I remember it being pretty easy to learn and right now I have the urge to try making games again so I might . Was thinking of making something basic along the lines of a cod zombies, arena-style, top-down shooter.

But nobody ever teach me how to uv unwrap for pixel-art textures properly.
Can anybody teach me how?
Why shouldn't I use unreal 5.1? I get every feature I'd ever need out of the box and basically for free.
Unreal is for big boy teams. You're a 24 year old male at Mum's house.

Has anyone here implemented mesh splitting like MGR before?
Made it so you can finally draw your sword now. Walking and running animations change slightly too. Feels nice to see how everything comes to life. Not sure how to continue from here tho. I want to implement inverse kinematics for the legs but I am not sure if it is worth the effort. Would also like to start with the actual combat now...
thats good movement, does she climb?
>does she climb?
No, but it is planned. Atleast basic edges, I am also thinking about adding a parcoursystem with jumps like in tomb raider, but added with different graps for poles, vines and stuff. Not sure if I want that added tho, the scope is already kinda big. Time will tell.
Anon, pulling a sword from your back is impossible without clipping. There is no space for your arm to extend far enough.
A sword that short it actually should be possible. Xena iconically carried her sword on her back and she did it all the time on the show. The only rule is that the blade of the sword must be shorter than your extended arm for it to work
the sword clips through the scabbard

What do you do when you have an original idea for a game that didn't exist yet and as you were working on it, some bumfrick studio churns out a shitty version of your idea that somehow gained traction, and now your game will always be viewed as a knockoff?
its hard to say without knowing what the idea is, can't you try to take it in a new direction?
Immediately upload a test video of your original game as soon as possible to youtube but leave it unlisted, that way people will know yours was first when you choose to make it public
what's the point of this reference var setter?
if you're not reusing that ref somewhere else in your BP put a comment there saying SET, connect the cast directly to the other node, and if at one point later in dev it breaks you can go back here and add the setter :^)
God I fricking hate blueprints so much it's unreal.
I bet you haven't even tried it for more than a few days.
Pretty sure that anon said this only for the Unreal joke

I've been working on this 1 game for over 8 years now. Mod support, scriptable server, voxel destruction, positional VOIP, bots, level editor. Barely anyone knows about it so I'll drop some keys if enough people call it an unturned/roblox ripoff. Rel is Vietnam mod server today.
>8 years for this
Not continuously, right? Just on and off, with a lot of lengthy breaks in between?
I do have a day job but if this is a jab at the game looking shit, point taken
It doesn't really look like shit when compared to the average game posted on here, but it does look like something that probably should not have taken 8 years.
Agreed but servers can change everything in the game if you don't like the look (clients sync mods on connection). Still not gonna make any modern gpu sweat so eh
This in Unity?
>Mod support, scriptable server, voxel destruction, positional VOIP, bots, level editor.
I feel like server based tools being available on-release justifys most of that time spent.
If your game actually does catch on, it has all the tools to let it spread like wild fire.
I hope it does catch on, I know it does things a lot better than these other games (server
authoritative, seamless mod streaming, full modding toolkit with examples and editor)

Has anyone else gotten some sort of superiority complex from game dev?
I feel like the fact that I'm making something instead of sitting all day only consuming media like a drone makes me better than most people.
Maybe this game dev thing is getting over my head...
I used to feel that way, now it's kind of embarrassing how much time I waste on stupid bugs and long build times while everyone else is a protagonist. You do get a kind of god complex creating systems and AI living in them though, it's weird.
Yes Anon, making software about a gundam who punches demons DOES make you superior.

my game is about a guy who's bullied by three hot babes at school, but one day a school shoting happen and the guy with the three girls are isekaied into a new universe. In the new universe the girls keep bullying the guy but a giant monster appears and try to kill them and some magical fairy e-girl appears and give the girls erotic bikini armors and tell them that this world is powered by love and the guy is the chosen one to fullfill the prophecy because using his penis he has to love the girls and fill their love bar which is the only way they can become strong. The bullies don't like the idea but end up giving up and the game is like a megaman battle network where you have to sex the 3 bullies to fill their attack power and ejaculating inside or over a girl make her use her final power, also the girls hate to have sex with you but they have no option (but there's also a hidden bar that's filled during the whole game so at some point they begin to like it)

Game devving is not instant-grat quick shot of feel good hormones. It's a form of art that demands patience, logical thinking , problem solving skills, and artistic eye.

title theme idea I'm working on for the schizocore ARPG I want to make
Ground the base line more. It's too all over the place.
Give the bass a shorter melodic hook and build ambience around that.
how's this
https://vocaroo.com/11vjM87s5Ayc
I mean it depends on the feel you're going for.
If it's an ARPG character action whatever, always keep the song well paced and the instrumentation tight.
>I mean it depends on the feel you're going for
the closest thing I can find to a visualization of the vibe I'm going for is the deserts from those Spaceman Spiff segments in Calvin and Hobbes, pic related type shit. I want it to be reminiscent of westerns, like the kind of world one would conjure up in their head while listening to Knights of Cydonia.
for the title theme I'm definitely going for something somber and ominous; not really reflective of the rest of the stuff in the OST. for reference, here's my current draft of the boss theme

(the first minute and 5 seconds is intro)
I can't say. I can only point you towards Wild Arms and Mother 3/Earthbound for audio reference.

Where is picks up at 0:35 and the little quick arpeggios leading into it are great, but the bass and drums aren't grounded enough. They need to be in a pocket groove more, right now they're too sloppy in a audible sense.
And if you want schizocore, keep it more grounded.
Wario has inspired me to get /gamedeving/ on mobile games loaded with ads marketed entirely towards Brazilians to make the mega bucks.
I want to make an isekai rouge like where every time you die, you stay as the same character but are taken to small randomly generated world with a preset quest of some sort you have to do to get back to the world you were previously in. It starts in a major world that throws you right at the final boss.
Well, I say I "want to make it", but I'm already working on a game, I just though the idea sounded neat, although its probably been done.
>although its probably been done
have you heard of the term roguelike before?
I didn't explain it super well, but most that I've seen have similar set ups visually on each run, just different layouts. I'm talking different themes and gimmicks on each run. Not to a massive degree, but enough to make each one feel unique, after which you have to work your way back through the previous worlds you died in until you get back to the final boss you started at.
sounds interesting but might get tedious if not done properly.
story seems similar to half minute hero iirc but obviously there is nothing wrong with that
What happened to agdg?
Why are there so much shitposting there now?
it's a discord-led thread, what do you expect?
Since when?
Last time when I was there, people shit on whoever post/shill their discord group.
>he fell for the falseflag
Most of the devs either fricked off to Discord or fricked off entirely. I'd leave too but I honestly don't know where else to go that isn't full of Twitter Black folk.
>the discord
>not full of twitter Black folk
Lol
I'd join such a group that enforced a strict pyw/pyg requirement
>needing a group
Literally never going to make it unless the people in the group are in your games team
I just want a community that can answer my questions on how to do certain things and not be a complete ass about it.
good luck, game dev communities are strictly about constant below-the-belt crabbing
This is actually the best place to ask for tech support and tech advice, because no one knows what your project is as you’re asking unless you reveal it in your post. No one can really crab you for asking and a lot of people just want to share their knowledge for free for some reason, so I think some of you guys are good dudes.
Only on Ganker though.
Not on agdg
It became a clique. Fricked off to discord and sucks the risk of rain devs dick to eternity
Nah. Marmotroony is the new queen of the pisscord.
for some reason they are really hostile to e-girldevs, very shameful indeed
Full of mutts. Shame indeed, they are programmed by their overlords to hate cute and to hate beautiful, so they worship the ugly and the evil.
Jesus, is there anything about the discord that’s good? The more I learn about these homosexuals the more I despise them
Ikr. They’re like the busybody hall monitors of /agdg/
No, there’s nothing that’s good about social parasites, period.
They're openly hostile to anything that falls outside of the normie norm, while secretly supporting it behind the scenes.
It's a small and loud minority that behaves like that. Don't let them get you down.
What about shotadevs?
any Unreal Engine developers or communities here willing to be a mentor for me and help explain or demonstrate how to work with UE properly? i'm interested in seeing your projects and giving my insight/opinion/suggestion and sharing my project ideas/ambitions as well. it would be nice to have some cool dev friends!
add my disc if you're interested
puppet#7646
I hope your father finds you hanging from a tree.
frick is your problem Black person
I’m just kidding calm down holy shit this is why people avoid you
>Unreal Engine developers
No such thing, sorry
>any Unreal Engine developers or communities here willing to be a mentor for me and help explain or demonstrate how to work with UE properly?

Goin good, animating an important npc / enemy for a demo. My animating sucks, so looking forward to getting an animator
the only thing that looks bad is the right hand/fingers looking stiff like a board.
A third person camera isn't just a camera on a stick. Lerping the focal length at close and far ranges as well as moving its target up and down to frame the character better makes a huge difference.
Anyway do my swords look Holy enough?
Noice, did you make that shader yourself? It looks really good.
I’m just kidding. Don’t have a nice day. It’s just a phase you’re going through. You may not believe it now but you will look back at these times and be grateful for how chaotic they were because they shaped you.
what are you talking about i just want to have a fellow game dev friend who is passionate about a project
You are trans.
Who is trans?
Shazy, but he gets a pass for being serious about the hobby.
I want to get into game dev. What resources should I look at if I have minimal skills and I'm lazy?
Official Unity tutorials and a C# book. Done.
Thanks. Why C#?
Unity uses C# and its the most solo-newdev friendly engine.
Unreal Engine uses C++ but its up to you if you want to use either.
Got it, thanks a lot
That's what Unity uses.

For C#
Me.
enough of the troony obsession homosexuals either add it or dont, i thought this was a game dev thread
>have cool idea
>know the art part is never getting done
>never work on the idea
Anyone use Godot? Been looking more heavily into it. Is it pretty intuitive to pick up with tutorials? Also anyone know if 4.0 beta is worth diving into instead of whatever is currently released.
I just like iterating on small 2D hobby projects for fun and learning. I was using GM2 but the subscription model really turned me off, even if I own my current version. Also feels way more cumbersome than it should be at times. The lightweight and open source of Godot is very appealing. Unity and Unreal just feel like they'd have so much shit I'd never touch.
It's free, go for it.
I am starting out and wanted to go with Godot too, but the tutorials are not that good. The things they show you are ok if you just want it to run, it's open source so most people working on it are hobbyist which aren't mainly programmers and don't understand more in-depth things, but in the long run you will have problems. The documentation is good tho. I switched to Unity to learn and then I will try out Godot once I know what I am doing.
>but the tutorials are not that good.
Shame, that's what I'm most worried about. I was hoping the situation had gotten better. I've avoided Unity there is so to it I have no interest in, but I know there are way more resources available to learn it.
Maybe I'll tinker with Godot for a bit and if I hit some walls or don't like it much I'll give unity a go. I just have a feeling Game Maker is on their way out, and while it was a great introduction, it has its own issues.
Every engine has their own level of jank, but with Godot I just copy and paste code instead of writing stuff intuitively like I do with Unity and Unreal.
>people ask me why I'm always busy
>tell them I'm making a game and it's a lot of work
>they ask me if I can show them
>show some 3D models and tell them a demo will be out by EOY
>EOY comes and the demo is not ready
>have to make sure I cut ties with all the people who asked me about my game to prevent embarassment
>cycle repeated twice already
I set up this sun guy to power the system he stands in, and I'm working on the weapons ui.
sick ftl clone
Genuine question. This thread and the one in vg are curious to me. Who in their right mind would post their game progress on Ganker? Excluding simpler ones posted all the time, I mean. Just seems like giving ammo to twitter lefties to use against you in the future.
Is it just for (You)s?
not worried, should I be?
Yes it's for (You)s obviously.
Also no one really cares whether you posted on Ganker.
twitter lefties aren't scouring these threads to cross reference with #screenshot saturday posts.
No indie dev has ever been cancelled for posting on Ganker.
See pic
>Is it just for (You)s?
No, I just like sharing progress. It's fun. It's also nice to get feedback from here because people aren't afraid to be honest. Sometimes you get idiotic feedback you can do nothing with, but sometimes you get something really insightful.
I'm so sick of moronic nodevs asking this question. The devs of risk of rain, project wingman, world of horror and VA-11 Hall-A all posted on this site and nobody gives a frick. And even if they did are you such a principal-less b***h that you'll lie to appease people that hate you? If my game ever takes off i will deliberately retweet jk rowling and stonetoss as homosexual repellent.
>If my game ever takes off i will deliberately retweet jk rowling and stonetoss as homosexual repellent
I'm not insane enough to do that but respect, that'd be hilarious.
>The devs of risk of rain, project wingman, world of horror and VA-11 Hall-A all posted on this site and nobody gives a frick
lmao do lefties even play these games?
lefties don't play artistic bespoke videogames made by independent developers
Like another anon said they don't play these indie games, even the ones made by troons they just retweet in group twitter posts and most average players won't care about the virtue signaling Or even notice it
Lefties only play AAA games made by largest corpos they don't even consider indies games until they become real huge hits. Anti-capitalism ho!
Basically everyone that makes it has someone out there that wants to cancel them for something. The cancelers overestimate their reach imo. IDK just don't pay attention to the mentally ill.
I dont even get (yous) so who cares.
Who cares?
Vampire survivors sold like 10m copies and I didn't see it getting cancelled
bump
Should i use Qt to create Board Game?
No, use Tabletop Simulator to create your board game.
Working on it.
Right but with the green colorscheme.
Left but flatter
Characters are not video games, anon.
base
right but bigger
I hope every dev that puts NTR or ugly bastards die a horrible death. Disgusting.
Why did YoYo Games delist GMS2 and make it a subscription? They had one of the most popular engines and now nobody cares about GameMaker
because nobody buys it, unity and unreal exist. But theres a few rich morons who refuse to switch and will want the new versions, they can be milked for a while more
CLICKMEDIA FUSION
Is my game likely to be more popular if I focus on loose female characters with bawdy clothes, fat round asses and massive breasts?
What about girls with dicks? Seems to be the popular trend
>girls with dicks
There's a big difference between futa and troony and you need to avoid crossing that line if you want to have any success.
gays
If you do the dicks one you will probably get smaller but more dedicated fanbase
Don't know if anyone's interested, but I recently found a nice software to easily make game music. It has a free demo on itch io with everything available except the save and export functions, if you want to try it
https://1bitdragon.itch.io/1bitdragon
>inb4 shill
I'm shilling it because I tried it and I think it's good and easy to use for people who don't understand shit about music (like me). Also cheap when on sale
Is godot or love2d more beginner friendly?
Yes
no idea about those two but I started with Game Maker 5.3
I don't know where to start and i suck at programming
Pretty hopeless tbh
"Futuristic but so futuristic everything looks like moronic modern art" aesthetic for my corporate job game? Still just early models without textures but you get the idea.
>but so futuristic everything looks like moronic modern art
That table looks way too practical, needs more waves or holes.
Finalized the redesign for my lil bold, new models has much more readable expressions, cleaner topology and a base9nude0 version allowing me to design disguises better without having to remake the model entirely every time.
here we go
cutebold
Can I get a guide on learning how to code? I've been looking at C++ maybe? Idk where to start
c++ primer 5th ed is good
