My guess is that Todd went with, side content should be as important as the main quest. And then instead of bringing all the side content up to main quest level, the two met in the middle and not the main quest sucks and the side quests are ok and the whole game is just kind of mid.

Both Elite dangerous and No man's sky have "supercruise" modes where you can travel between planets in like, 2 minutes or less, and if you upgrade your jump drive in nms, travel can take only 30 seconds.

If Neon is half as cool as its concept art it will be the best city Bethesda has ever made. The part we've seen so far is the "lower" part of the city which is more run down than the "upper" part in the third pic. I also expect it to be stunning at night.

Building a PC now is the most expensive it has ever been, it's at the point where it is genuinely the better option to take a gamble with a cheap prebuilt and upgrade rather than build from scratch, the prices are that fricked.
Also note that the amd gpu is like 30% faster than the 2080, so you'll be relying on DLSS. The actual recommendation would be a 3070ti.
There is no DLSS support because AMD bought exclusivity because they REALLY want people using their inferior image reconstruction.
And the minimum is a 1070 ti, having an SSD and a decent cpu seem to be the biggest issue for people on old rigs.

I liked Cyberpunk even though it was buggy on launch, I saw the potential (though ps4 and xbone versions were always doomed)
I also thought Callisto was just “fine”.
Anyone with eyes could see the rest of those games were going to fail, except maybe 2042 which had a TON of normie hype surrounding it. You seriously think people were excited for Redfall, Forspoken, or Anthem? Delusional. Those games were made for an audience that does not exist. Before any of the failings of the games themselves you could see they weren’t going to survive purely based on their concepts alone. Same reason that Immortals of Aveum game is flopping, who asked for it?
The key is managing expectations, something most people struggle with evidently hence all the cope.
