The Nora stuff originated from BTAS. The comics added it in afterwards around the time Batman and Robin came out.

Donner’s Superman standardized a lot of shit for the Superman IP. The Kents being farmers and the two finding Clark after the crash. Silver Age Kents owned a department store and adopted Clark in an orphanage.

The stuff you’re talking about came from a Superman novel written in the 40s by the producer of the radio show. If you compare the two you can tell Tom Mankiewicz read it.
(Interestingly the radio show itself never showed the Kents in person. In the first episode Superman grows up in the rocket, then much later the Kents were improbably retconned in, but by then they’re dead and Smallville is a ghost town.)

the Kents being farmers is even in the Kirk Alyn serials and the George Reeves show

Both Jonathans were named Ebin with Martha being named Sarah in the Reeves series. Both were pulling from the Golden Age origin that had the Kents as farmers.

Didn't DC try to streamline it way before BTAS anyway? I remember Basil tricking/stealing powers from The Mud Pack to give himself powers. Really modern Clayface is now an amalgam of the Mud Pack, and pulled from the cartoon despite being called Matt Hagen

That Wolverine costume is ass. Should’ve just went the jacket and wifebeater route.

I disagree entirely. I like it way better than casual wear. But there's going to be a shit ton of costumes anyway so people can pick what they want. Yellow/black, yellow/blue, orange/brown, whatever

        Azzarello’s Wonder Woman’s good.

I'm glad I'm not the only one on Ganker who appreciates the Azzarello run. Probably the last good run she's had in modern books. Sure you can get upset over the sailor thing, and the book doesn't delve into her rogues gallery in favor of Olympian family drama, but it's still a great read that has the compassion of Wonder Woman

The Amazons were always misandrist c**ts. Fricking random sailors and killing them afterwards to replenish their numbers isn’t off-brand fit them. Nor is killing their boys or selling them to slavery. It’s Diana who’s supposed to be the good one.

It could go either way I think. Wonder Woman is an IP that WB Games is less likely to micromanage over. So on one hand Monolith might have room to breathe, but on the other they may not have been given the proper budget to do everything they wanted.

I'd be surprised if Insomniac doesn't just scrap the whole thing since the leaks have killed all mystery

I highly doubt that. Too much has been invested already, and the only real heavy hit besides the plot summary is the demo build. Now if there was footage of every scene and ending, then yeah I could see a big delay to change some stuff.

video games are boring, both indie and AAA
the only thing that matters to me is the story and there's good comic book stories that could be adapted to other mediums but if we're doing that I'd rather watch a movie or a cartoon, not waste hours on dull sandboxes or gimmicky puzzles.

All three of the Switch ports of Arkham added this, the team behind it apparently found out about the release date of the game the same time as everyone else which led to them begging for the delay.
They originally wanted to port every Arkham game but WB games thought that would be too much content for $60

      Anonymous

Biggest problem with the port is that it’s UE3 which caused every issues with the port. switch just straight up doesn’t support the engine at all meaning majority of development is spent on dealing with that hurtle.
