The reason I can't get into NRS games is specifically because visually it looks so boring to me. I don't have any hate for this game, there is just not really that much that appeals imo. The good things are Jamie, the colourful aesthetics and I also like the general flow of how the gameplay looks, but otherwise you have shit designs like Marisa, Luke, Manon, Lili etc. and it doesn't help that the whole game looks so uncanny and makes characters uglier than they are like Chun. This is even made worse by the awful loading screen emotes you can do. The whole atmo of the game also feels like it's made for the NA Fortnite/tiktok zoomer audience with american zoomer rapshit and hiphop everywhere and some pseudo philosphical motivational phrases about "strength". Imo all these things would suggest that it wouldn't appeal to the japanese but its incredibly popular in Japan, so I guess it's just not for me.
