I liked it but I like anything with destructible environments. Brutalist interiors are a hit or miss with a lot of people too but I found it to be a plus.
If you're into generic third person shooters like the rest of Remedy's games (aside from Max Payne) then I guess you'll like it. It's really boring and has terrible characters and a stupid story that doesn't go anywhere. Despite the strange nature of the game you don't get any cool weapons. You just use generic weapons like a pistol and a shotgun.
Can you list some other shooter games you dislike and also list some games that you like to get an idea of how agreeable your opinion is to people who probably share your taste?
redpill you on the max payne, payne like it sounds like pain, pain that you kill with the painkillers, painkillers which are the pills that kill pain, they kill pain but they can't minimize pain because the pain is always high, high as in maximum high maxi mum high ho hibby hoddy hoo max, maximum pain, maxi mom pa in, that's max payne
>generic third person shooters >Remedy
What are you on about? Quantum Break is the only one that comes close to that description and that game has 3 hours of live action cutscenes.
It is really boring and cinematic console garbage until you unlock all abilities and literally become a flying god throwing around telekinetic bullets on hordes of enemies like it's fricking Diablo.
Didn't help when they released the Alan Wake advertisement DLC. It killed Control's story from being expanded. We wanna know more about the world of Control, not AW.
There's nothing wrong with it besides lack of enemy variety and some dumb lootershooter elements that feel half baked, but it still feels like a wasted opportunity. Like the setting is so rich with interesting stuff they could have did but you're just shooting ghost soldiers 95% of the time. It's a good game that could have been great and that kinda makes it sting more than just a regular ok game.

>destructible environments
oh snap, the game has that? i love destructible environments. they're so fun.
destructible environments used to be one of the most sought-after features in video games but games today hardly ever have it.
Its fake destructible environment, you can destroy tables and railings, but besides like 2 walls in a dlc you cant destroy walls or create new paths
Depends what you mean by "fun"...
Some people think wiener and ball torture is fun.
I fricking love this game. The gun play is tight, the architecture is like crack for my autism and the story makes me feel like a midwit.
Yee
I hate schizo game

You can shoot people in slow-mo

Agree with you. The setting and premise is cool, but after playing the game for some hours I was just bored
Its really good.
It has a weird difficulty curve so it may give you a mixed first impression. But its worth it, trust.

You actually unlock all abilities near the end of the game lmao and by that time you're done and uninstalled the game.
I guess it depends if you do the side quests first + there are 2 DLCs. So plenty of time to use your powers
it ok
too bad there's no kinky mods.
One of the good looking boring game.

Starts slow before you have all the fun skills but then it gets super fun.
Yes it's very fun, but towards the end it will leave you wishing for more powers.

by the end it felt tedious when the only thing the game would do is throw fifty waves of the same 5 enemy types at you
boring gameplay but the lore is great
i'd recommend just turning on cheats and exploring the the bureau at your leisure
I mean not really. It's better to consider it a walking simulator and get invested in the world/lore.
Jesse Faden could've been really hot.
Her ingame model didn't do her justice at all
