Wasted potential. The primary threat just being red dudes was boring. Most of the "SCPs" just being objects with various telekinetic qualities was boring. Ahti was the only good character.
Every time he appeared after some shit happened I was just like
>fricking CLEAN IT UP janny
It would have been better if the objects at least had personality. Make the gun have an opinion on killing and it's instantly more interesting. Even if it's just curiosity about its capabilities.
Had a ton of fun with it. Jesse and Ahti were lots of fun as characters, with honorable mention going to Pope as her super analytical approach to every situation got some chuckles out of me when it was super inappropriate. The gameplay was good, but obviously was just a fairly satisfying third person shooter with some cool flight mechanics overall. The atmosphere was good but could have been more fun, like said, more clearly sentient items could have added a lot. Sankarin Tango and the final run through the Hotel were super memorable moments.
Can't wait for the sequel if they manage to successfully build on what they setup in this game.
I probably would have been, too, if the game didn't give you the option of self-inserting as either the controller or her. Much easier to pretend to be a non-corporeal mirror blob thing.
Ah, come on man, it had a lot of cool stuff. All the background papers were interesting. A game that just exists would be something like The Outer Worlds, which even though I completed every side mission I can barely remember more than there was a blue haired guy that was obnoxious.
And that's getting a sequel! Boggles my fricking mind. Hopefully it won't be utterly forgettable too.
I know that the VAST majority of Ganker will disagree with me on this, but Control was definitely 100% a videogame despite what you'll hear critics say about it.

yeah this, lots of potential but it just uses its insane crazy setting to host some extremely generic TPS gameplay
good as in mediocre but not bad
better than death stranding at least
personally liked death stranding way more. not sure why you'd compare those games anyway. seems pretty random
You don't mean that
Atmosphere : good
Gameplay : average
Storytelling : cliffhanger
7/10 imo
i was filtered by her massive jawline

>She killed thousands
deserved
>She
That chin says otherwise, pal
You are too obsessed.
Yeah, obsessed with you, you sexy piece of shit
ngl it i enjoyed it, now i have to actually finish it. it gets repetitive towards the end but a nice game tbh
it's crazy how ugly everyone is in this game
Pope is pretty.
Jesus Christ, why is it so bright? Is this what it looks like with RTX off?
I wouldn't know, never finished

It was, loved the Metroidvania aspect of it. To bad it looks like shit without RT
