I'm just hoping RE9 is 3rd person. The immersion of 2 is what got me really interested in playing the other remakes, even though I think RE4 is great it's much too action focused and the slow, claustrophobic horror of RE2 felt more appropriate for the series.
7 is very atmospheric and I always say it's a great first time experience but with very limited replayability. 7 is about Ethan and 8 follows the story of 7. I really liked it. It's slightly more action Alien: Isolation with absolutely insane over the top boss fights that you will remember 10 years down the road.
