Replacing models is easy, but I'm assuming Unite uses lower poly models than the main games so it wouldn't just be a 1:1 port is they want to keep any form of consistency.

They cut the dress up for BDSP contests. They'll just reuse the rhythm game part from contests which would be an improvement over the original musicals.
They can just add a small pool of Pokemon at first and keep adding new mons every game
The same thing with ride Pokemon, they could have started with a small pool like LGPE and eventually add everyone

They don't actually - all Unite outfits are "hologear" aka holographic clothing that's not really being worn.
While often not as deliberate, in other games the outfits aren't using any holographic cope
Although Gardevoir, Lucario, Eevee and Braixen hardly compare to Tyranitar
