I3 10100f+RTX 3060 12GB, game is running at stable 60 FPS/Ultra, but Shadow Distance at medium...For some reason the game has a INSANE shadow distance rendering that eats a ton of resources without increasing the quality of the environment
i unironically think he's going to begin to retire after starfield. he'll just have some hands off advisory role for tes6 and a special thanks/dedicated to credit at the end.
You know, seeing how Toddposting is still a thing, I struggle to name any other dev that started out as a codemonkey and is still relevant
Where did they all go?
I thought TES6 would be his retirement game but he said in his last interview he wants Fallout 5 to be his, maybe that'll be his last.
I'm playing modded Fallout 4 now in preparation for Starfield and that game is actually extremely underrated. The main story is absolute fricking ass but it's an amazing game outside of that with a couple of mods to fix settlement building. Exploring a beautiful handcrafted post apocalyptic world to gather resources for building your base you can make basically wherever you want in it is incredible and no other game offers an experience like that
I think after TES 6 he will be named something like Senior Game Director and will gime more roome for some younger talent and be there to supervice Fo5 and then he will retire
I had a dream about saying goodbye to Grandpa Todd on his deathbed. Telling him that he made a decent game in a sea of shit, then he died and shat his pants
Quick, Todd! Re-release Skyrim a few more times to recover your youth!
Yes Todd-sama
quickly, send him to kojima's Lazarus pit!
Don't worry Todd... it's all I could ever hope for.
Thank you, old friend.
can you put him into the woman faceapp now too
I'm enjoying 76 so much Todd-Sama...Please release more content
Are you playing on PC or console?
PC, why you asking?
I wanted to ask how well the game is running?
I'm just thinking about a setup.

There's something about a console, but I've always been a pure PC gamer. I also suspect that I can't get along with handling the controller.
He’s gonna pass away two weeks before the release of Elder Scrolls VI
Oh boy! Skyrim for neuralink? Thanks Todd.
Todd you did good.
Please buy the Todd Howard Memorial Edition of Skyrim
Buy the watch

Cancelled.
Only other one I can name is Miyazaki. Dev studios are too fricking big and too corporatized for that shit to happen ever again
My bad, I was purely talking about Western devs. Jap devs still have a lot of the old guard, but for Western devs I can barely name any.
Well, yeah, those don't exist anymore. Gaming, especially in the west, is too expensive and focus tested for that to happen
Does Carmack count?
Kinda but he doesnt do games anymore
Carmack precedes Todd, also Carmack doesn't even make games anymore
Iwata was a codemonkey and you could argue he's still relevant despite dying
Phil Spencer maybe?
He was sent over to Rare when they joined Xbox I think, remember hearing about that in one of his interviews with Gerstmann

>and no other game offers an experience like that
other than fallout 3 with rts mod of course.

NTA, but I will never mod FO3 ever again. What a terrible experience it was
post your mod collection/list anon
