Direct Storage has been available on Dx12_2 for like over a year now.
games have to independently support it as well
the problem is, the requirements for directstorage (win 11, GPU made in the last 2 years, nvme drive) mean that maybe 10% of gamers tops can support it which is why theres only 1 game on the market that has support for it as well (the flopspoken)
