Crash 4 was a huge success

Apologize Ganker, you said this game flopped for 4 years and that it killed the franchise

After 4 they were sent to the COD mines, stayed there for a while, then Microsoft bought all of Activison, TfB went indie but now working on Spyro 4 for Microsoft.

Well do you see a sequel in the works or did the team get canned and the studio absorbed by Microsoft?

considering they currently own rare, blizzard, and activision mascots yeah they own IP's with actual legacy. the issue is none of those IP's have had any actual talent behind them in eons and likely still don't. literally just ask some indie studio with even the slightest competence to make a new banjo and they've got a fricking gold mine but I'm sure we're more likely to get a perfect dark netflix series where joanna is recasted with a fat black chick instead because the industry is a steaming pile of fricking shit right now

Considering how countless anons have come up with ways for Xbox to become relevant again, why cant Xbox do it?

recapturing their old audiences does not lead to unprecedented growth and thus is not deemed to be ultra-profitable, only regularly profitable, which is basically total bankruptcy. they need to have all effort directed towards pursuing a new audience of people that do not actually exist instead

Where does it sa that these sales are a success exactky?
And if it sold so much, why didnt any of this "success" transfer over to crash team rumble?
And if theyre so successful, why did TFB get axed and chopped off microsoft?

You are acting as though Activision made any good choices ever; or that Microsoft buying Activision wasn't the best thing to happen to that company in two decades. You're an idiot.

Besides; Toys for Bob get to do whatever they want now.

do you think they knew it would kill the franchise so they made 100%ing it take so long that by the time you're done we might be in the nostalgia/revival mood again

I'm convinced that a lot of the TFB staff was autistic furries and they made a game for themselves to play.
        >hide gems in places that are off camera or in death holes, and you literally need to trial and error, or read a wiki, to find them all
        >feel really smart and clever grabbing a gem that you hid yourself

its like a studio of CWCs and Ullillilias

What the frick are either of you two talking about? Crash 4 is fantastic; it's on par with Crash 1; it's easily better than 2 or 3.

Toys for Bob made a Crash game between than two Naughty Dog games.

    sales don't equal success.
It sold well because it was a part of a beloved franchise and marketed and hyped as a "true sequel", and many where disapointed in it leaving their relation with the franchise sour. add to this the present failure of that moba game.
Now fans are more wary of this franchise unwilling to just blindly buy any potential sequels.

    >People bought the game but did not like it

    >HAHA TOO BAD WE ALREADY GOT YOUR MONEY SO ITS A HUGE SUCCESS

pay no mind to the fact that the game was given away for free on PS Plus and each download counts as a """sale""" which made $0, and it's also in the $19 bargain bill at walmart so people will randomly buy it for their kids to shut them up
