One of the artists they retweeted said the game will release this winter and another said next year. Probably within the next 1-2 months I would imagine. The goal is to get one of the SSR characters for free before launch. The SSR rate is 1.125%, if it's like the last game I played it should take ~2 weeks at 10 pulls a day. Samoji's character is an SR rate his 3.333%, which should be easier.

The only thing the website says is that combat is "simple, but deep."

From what I can tell, it's 5 homies in a row turn based combat where you activate skills and fill the "God Gauge," which is probably an "I win" button. Characters have element affinities and there are stat modifiers and ailments.
The quality makes it hard to read but it looks like each skill says 残り, which means they have limited uses per battle. Doesnt seem like a lot either but each skill is at level 1 to be fair, maybe it goes up per level.
It looks like a GBF ripoff...

literally why play this over anados if you're willing to tolerate and ignore furshit in the first place to get scraps of actually good content? unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't even look like the scenes will be fully uncensored and it's not even mtl'd so there's nothing above it's direct competitor aside from being new. which means jack shit unless it comes both with actually modern QoL features and doesn't dripfeed currency to expect you to get tired of saving for 6 months straight at minimum to fail to roll the character you want on rate up. and the latter won't happen because every one of these games care only about generating a hyperwhale base, not low spenders and certainly not f2ps.

Yeah. The first one you pull is locked into the "keep" slot. When you roll a second unit the white textbox under it allows you to swap the unit you keep over to that one.
So once you have your desired unit, just push the red one to pass up units you don't want, and the white one for the one you do. The red one is basically an exit button.
I wouldn't be surprised that the only thing the devs have currently programmed is a beta version of the gacha and nothing else.

Their support pages are stolen from Lifewonders, and the R18 disclaimer is stolen from EROLABS. They used to have a FAQ page stolen from some other h-gacha game and if you used "view page source" on their website their "twitter:card" referenced Millenium Wars Aigis (which is coincidentally another DMM game).

I think you'll bring quite a few treasures at once, because if if it were 1-3 it would have been easy to put on the space occupied by the soul friend/treasure tabs. Or maybe some fancy shit where you have few treasures or even just 1 but you socket things into them for various effects.

Appearance wise there doesn't seem to be difference between weapon and actual people or "Soulmates." See how Brionac and Excalibur are in auxiliary slots in the promotional material? So each party consists of five Soulmates, one Sacred Artifact, and one support/guest.

I think you are right, I ran those tweets on DeepL and got the same results. The first tweet talks about a Divine Bond skill which I assume is when you can summon the Divine Artifact which stays on the field for 3 turns as mentioned in the second tweet. The DAs we know so far are Excalibur, Gae Bolg, Caladbolg, Mjolnir and Gram. Adamas may be one too, though it's not the name of a weapon but a person from Greek mythology, I found mentions of him using a scythe in two fan wikis.

Yeah, I think all the ones shown in that part are DAs and since we likely pull Excalibur at the start of the story, the story maybe be about going after the other DAs so the rest may be bosses. Alternatively, since there was some mention of Brave Frontier a few days ago, we may fight them in a special place just like they did it in BF, I think that because in the website there's an image in the raid battle showcase where we fight Excalibur, which is similar to what we see of the fight with Gae Bolg here

The people that seethe don't matter, but DMM has to find a storefront to sell the game. DMM tried a global release with Aigis, but they used Nutaku, a Canadian company. So they had to remove all of the e-girl content and killed the game. The all ages version of Crave Saga can be released on QooApp, Google Play, Apple App store etc. without issue. As for the R-18 version, I'm not sure. Anothereidos circumvented this issue via Habbit Launcher and I doubt DMM wants to try something like that for this game. Foreigners basically were/are keeping Anothereidos alive, so maybe there's a lesson to be learned there.
This is DMM's first gay game as far as I'm aware, so maybe they'll try something new just for us! ...probably not.

I am not expecting anything but well, looking it from an analytical standpoint, you'd avoid spending too much on this because of the small market so there's a big risk, but lower expenses means there's lower stakes too so I think one could afford an experimental system before trying it on a more mainstream product.
They can try to use Erolabs which Nu Carnival uses, but I don't know their instance on e-girls and shotas.

Regarding the battle system, under the weapons in picrel it says remaining 2 or 3, likely the number of times you can use that weapon/ability. They talked about combos while talking about divine artifacts, so I assume that you need to have a DA summoned to be able to combo, dunno why some weapons/abilities can combo and others can't, might depend on which DA you summoned.
Not much to see here, just confirms that DAs are a different thing from soulmates and it seems friend/random support characters are DAs. Also the usual fire > wind > earth > water > fire elemental weaknesses.
The rainbow one is probably the skill they use when summoned, the rest are basic attacks and possibly combo attacks.

I think it's the equivalent of ultimates for soulmates, you need to charge a divine bond gauge to use the DAs after all according to the first tweet mentioned here

, it says divine bond gauge, you can see it for every character as they select their basic skill so attacking with all 5 would fill the gauge by 100%.
I don't know if buffers will be needed, when the battle starts you can see weapon, attribute, hp and atk buffs being applied to the characters as seen in picrel, when Excalibur is used he also provides a def buff and another buff that can miss to everyone and later when he uses his basic/combo skill.
Maybe the uses reset each wave or you're supposed to use combos to save on weapons uses, seems like it will require some strategy.
Well still having a guild of people in here won't be bad, i'm guessing it'll have a limit of 20 members maybe? and there might be a guild currency where you can buy stuff

I'm still not sure what combo attacks are, but I assume it's like follow up attacks. Assuming you need DAs summoned to use them, that would turn one attack into two. We'll have to wait and see since they only showed the basics of the basics in that gameplay footage.
Could be anything from following up with normal attack, 2 guys using vanilla abilities at once for a small bonus, or combining 2 abilities for a whole new effect (RomaSaga does this one)

Yeah it started the next day they announced the release, last Thursday I think, however there was an error that displayed 5x times instead of 10x times plus a log in error, so they made a 1 hour maintenance yo fix it and as a compensation added 10 more daily pulls, all of this by the way until the 14th 6:00 P.M. (Japan time) which means that today's the last reset, so remember to pull today before the reset cuz after the reset your only be able to pull until 6:00 P.M.

It did have some pros though. For a game made by basically one person, it had nice UI and aesthetics and graphics. It was fairly summon friendly and you can farm a large amount of summons, so its probably not that hard to get every character in a few weeks. But the combat being autobattle just kills it.
There's also the fact that the window has to remain in view for the game to run. If you tab out and cant see the game, it stops progressing loading and combat. If you have multiple monitors this probably isnt a big deal, but I dont.

They're saying they're launching an android app for the X version but I'm not being able to find it
For now the basic app instructions are this.
1. Download https://mega.nz/file/UQoEkLxa#TevqD8w9DQLMDWZnSvQUghgayZ2XX369vmNmDe9zGMA and put it on your Android or Nox or Bluestacks or whatever.
2. Boot it up. If you get some kind of permission button just say ok.
3. Navigate to the top left 3 bars thing, click it, and click ログイン
4. Log in. If you signed up to DMM via gmail link, you'll have to set a password by clicking パスワードを忘れた方 and entering your email and checking what it sends you.
5. After logging in, scroll down to the search bar. You'll see a link right below the bar that says R18ゲームはこちら. Click it.
6. Scroll down. You should eventually see Crave Saga X for Android.
7. Click it, then click the button below the screenshots, then click the orange button to log-in with your e-mail.
8.. That's all there is to do for now, since the app isn't out yet.

This is just a pre-registration, your button is grey which means you already pre-registered, now we'll have to wait for it to launch, which will be most likely on release or maybe a bit later. The reason why you can't download is obviously because the client isn't ready to run yet on browsers or in the app.
This thing is sloppy. When I signed up for DMM I did it via linking gmail, which means I never set a password. But the login page only accepts the password method. I dont know how, but with a lot of clicking around I finally got the app to ask me to login with gmail link, but I can't recreate it because I dont remember wtf I did to finally do that.

In the DMM/Fanza site, there is a tab explaining several game mechanics:
- battle: you choose 5 sacred artifacts, but only one is the main, the others are subs and contributes with passive effects; after summoning, the main stays x turns in battle using one of the three skills randomly (rate varies with level); while they are present, you can make combos which boosts resulting damage;
- weapon system: the third slot is character specific and you collect fragments (I think the quests are only available if you have the respective character), that then can be exchanged in the shop;
- guild: need rank 18;
- raid battle: identical to GBF, need rank 13;
- limit breaking: uses character/sacred artifact/weapon specific items (dupes I suppose) or generic ones depending on rarity;
- gacha: there is a character and sacred artifact gachas are separated and uses premium currency; weapon gacha seems to be only through ticket (the one we will get from pre-registration campaign) if I got it right; there will be step up banners; no mention about the rates;
- the training room has quests for gold and character/sacred artifact/weapon material xp each with limited daily attempts;
- story quest will have normal and hard difficulties; some characters will be freebies upon completion, with some only after clearing hard content;
- character episodes: from what I got it is accessible according to said character's level; there will be three: tavern, bedroom 1, and bedroom 2, only the last two will have R18 content (so, we might need to fully limit break, aka dupes, to see all of them);
- shop: there is one using gold and another using premium currency; inventory cycles daily, weekly, and monthly; selling some (fragment) weapons and character keys gives another set of currencies;
- money: if anyone is thinking about spending money, the paid premium currency expires after 150 days.

You mean because of the items from story quest progression? Just be sure to check the shop as you're progressing to see what the limited time items are. I think what's more important is not using your gold too much before that since we don't know the prices.

There's nothing unusual with the gacha. Normal gacha with soulmates and divine artifacts that has SR guaranteed at 10 pull, weapon gacha, ticket gacha, rate up gacha and step up gacha. Also, I just put the text on google translate and deepl, you can check it out yourself if you want.

Finally finished reading all that stuff, it's so much information that my head is spinning. Anyway, aside from what you said here's some things that got my attention:

Just found out the third weapon slot isn't open by collecting and exchanging character's weapon fragment. Those weapon can be used by anyone like any other weapon. The third slot is enabled by unlocking the first item in this board and need keys

You can see how much time until reset in the daily training tabs.
They give the first for free for all rarities, meaning that you only have to worry about limitbreaking SSRs which are the only rarity with two scenes, that's pretty generous. If you're in a hurry you can exchange gold/silver/bronze spheres that drop from story quests for rainbow keys.

Its kinda lame how the main differentiator between units are passive abilities (which most of us cant read) and their ult, which you cant use that often. Otherwise everyone has the same basic attack.

The only other differentiator is weapon profiency, but it's not clear what it does. Im assuming it increases the damage a character does with certain weapon types, but I dont know how much.
Oh, right, there's also their unique weapon I guess, but I doubt any of them do anything besides damage and some buff/debuff.

However, finishing the 2nd chapter doesn't give any character, instead it unlocks a new section in the story shop, where you can trade those (bronze/silver/golden) spheres for items. For the shota character, you need a lot of silver spheres (4k), available as a reward from hard quests or exchanging bronze to silver in a 2:1 ratio.

I am not sure how does this game works from emulator.
I got the folder with the project but I still suspect it is some other DMM store app that connects with the server and runs a game within itself.
I looked around the folders and the only image files that I've found are some DMM assets.
The app itself is made with Cocos2d it seems, but again I have no idea if its the game itself or some middleware between emulator and the game itself. Also I realise that there is a separate DMMStore application and this is not that. It is an app that supposed to run the game somehow.

I believe you can use generic keys to limit break them too. Generic keys can be bought from the shop and you can sell the keys you don't want / need. There's probably also going to key distributions at events I would imagine.
You get 15 SSR keys from permanent weekly missions, so you get 15 every week while increasing the cap to level 50 for one SSR costs 25.

Besides the AP for the mission, cheering on guild members also gives you AP. With a full guild all using the cheer button, its a good amount of free AP.
Something mildly annoying is that the auto-team builder doesnt seem to take weapon affinity into account.
If matching elemental alone is enough for the bonus and it doesnt stack, that doesnt matter, but at the moment its not clear if it stacks so I wish it took it into account.

I found out that weapon element affinity and proficiency do in fact stack, if anyone actually cares. I dont think I have enough weapon variety to determine which one matters MORE, though. Point is, match both weapon affinity and element with your weapons for max stat bonus.

Just like with Eidos, the login bonus package seems to be one of the better deals. You get whats basically the normal equivalent of 7500 free stones (you can get your 1 multiroll on the 1500 stone monthly which is 3000 stones normally, 1 multiroll on the platinum gacha which is the equivalent of 3000 stones, and 1500 stones in login bonuses), which would normally cost around 6000 yen, for 1500 yen.
Not sure if that's a better deal than the highest cost stone pack, but it's probably pretty close, and you get stamina potions out of it.
I imagine just like with Eidos you're better off not buying it at all.

There are two types of characters "Soulmates" and "DAs." Visually they are the same and use the same rarity system, however their ingame usage, acquisition, and rates differ. Keep this in mind when trying to frick a specific character. The main summoning currencies include: DMM Points, Godstones, and tickets.
There are 6 gachas to choose from:
>Release commemorative (Paid only)
>Step gacha (Paid only), expires in 48 hours after starting the game.
>Platinum Gacha Paid, Free, and Ticket (which is also free)
>Weapon gacha (f2p, does not give Soulmates or DAs)
For some reason this SR water tiger is not included in the release commemorative gacha, but he's in the other four. As a result all of the rates are the same between pools except the first one. DAs and soulmates do not have the same rate. An SSR DA is rarer than an SSR soulmate, but an SR soulmate is rarer than an SR DA.
Gacha Breakdown:
Release Commemorative
>5000 DMM or ¥5000 ($37.25 USD)

Both CS and TAS use a multi-pull guarantee, AER does not. Other things you must consider are the frequency that f2p currency is handed out + the dupe system. Crave Saga's dupe system is a lot more beneficial than AER. You should also consider the shop prices and frequency of packs offered. AER won't even give out a free 5/6 star for their anniversary, whereas Crave Saga gave you a free SSR and SR just for signing up. Only of these has porn for all of their characters as soon as you obtain them hehe
Yellow Column = Single pull rates, specific character
Green Column = Any character within that rarity
Red Column = Multi-pull Garuntee
tl;dr: We don't have a featured banner yet for a true comparison, but it appears Crave Saga's base rates favor SSRs over SRs (which is good). I think it's also fair to say that if you used a single pull on each gacha's current banner you are most likely to summon a character of the highest rarity from Crave Saga.

Another Eidos instead of Live a Hero? By the way LaH actually has the best gacha because it's the only one with a Spark system.
Unfortunately I don't know anything about LAH so I can't make an accurate comparison. I have some knowledge of TAS. But I mostly wanted to compare AER.
Here's what I came up with after reviewing the LAH wiki. I'm going to treat sidekicks as DAs and Heros as soulmates so I can combine them. The banner I'm using is Chocolate Circus (Reprint). It looks like LAH uses the same featured system and "rates" as TAS if you combine heros and sidekicks then match rarities. Therefore a single pull on Crave Saga is still 1.5% more likely to give you any character of the highest rarity. It's 0.5% more likely than AER with only one featured 6*. If AER has 2 six stars featured then the rate is for any is 4% which is higher than Crave Saga, AER has no multi-pull bonus, pity or significant dupe system.
I'm not sure how effective the spark system, dupe system, or f2p summoning currency in LAH is.
Next let's look a prices:
>Special gacha with a guaranteed SSR for 5000 yen, can be rerolled 3x
>Special gacha that doubles the effectiveness of paid stones
>Many different stone packs offered in the shop. Some big packs can only be purchased once a month.
>There's also a ton of resource packs for various upgrades and limit breaking. Some can be purchased with godstones.
Compared to AER. Crave Saga's packs are of course cheaper per summon when you use the paid gacha. You can also purchase the higher value packs once per month, but in AER it's only discounted on first purchase. Even if you used your paid stones as free stones they're still cheaper per summon compared to the undiscounted AER prices.
AER's most cost efficient multiple purchase pack is the monthly pass (worth noting recently they had a meme pack for new years giving away 130 stones for ¥2023). Crave Saga has two daily login packs priced at 1000 DMM and 1500 DMM. If you use the paid monthly pass stones in the f2p gacha AER is slightly better, but if you use them in the paid gacha, Crave saga is significantly better. I'm not sure if the stones you get everyday count as paid stones or not. The initial stones do count as paid stones for sure, so even if you just used those in the paid gacha Crave Saga is still better. Crave saga's login duration is also much shorter, you get all of your summons within the first 10 or 15 days. Whereas in AER it takes a month to just get 10, not very useful with 4-6 new limiteds every
month.
Lower Price / Summon = better

I bought the pack, and they're normal gems but they're still better than nothing and, as you said, fast. Also paid gems can be used to buy items (since I'm stuck at 200 paid gems when a single pull is 300 paid gems, monthly at least)
The three at the top (AP, gold key and silver key) reset every day, the three at the bottom (chara, DA and weapon exp items) reset every monday. To get to this screen click the shop icon in the bottom right, then on the other shop icon in the screen that appears, it's the first tab.
If you click on the highlighted button you'll see a list of shops, story, coin, raid, gacha, selector and release, the one shown is the story shop but in all of them some items have those blue bars the arrows are pointing, if you see the one that has "1" in the text the item resets on the first day of every month, if it doesn't have the "1" it resets every day. In this list of shops there isn't any item that resets every monday right now.
You'll get 50 of this sword fragment from one of the beginner missions, you can go to this shop (click on the sword icon after the shop icon in the bottom right) to exchange it, but be careful, you can exchange it for either the dark or light sword (maybe the other elements as well, I didn't check, which would make this a general sword fragment), so pick the one you want (don't be like me who picked the dark one before realizing this).
Kek and I grinded 100 of those things for a fire sword to complete the beginner mission instead of just buying the light/dark sword.

I hate it when games have buffs that have different amounts in how they buff you, but they don't tell you what happens when you use them on top of each other.
Like this one weapon applies a 50% mind regen buff, and another applies an 80% mind regen buff, but its all the same "regen" buff icon.
To ask for help in raids click on the menu button (three bars on top right) to open this screen, then on the yellow button. On the next screen the three buttons at the top are everyone, friends and guild, click on them to deselect the ones you don't want to ask for help, then click on the yellow button.
I forgot, you can do this even if you're not the one who summoned the raid.

In your browser, open devtools by pressing Ctr + Shift + I (or right click > Inspect), go to the Network tab and refresh the page so it catches all the requests, open a scene and look for readStory in the File tab (you can filter in the upper search bar)
There click on the request and then look for the response tab, there should be a JSON you can read and download
Here's 8 of them. I updated the image for the ones that I have with hearts. I included the txts for the "introductory encounter." The ones with the CGs end in 111. The characters they belong to are determined by the first 5 digits so it's easy to sort numerically. I don't know how to acquire rainbow keys easily so I can't get the 2nd SSR CG yet.

Updated. The day cycled so I was able to unlock some more too.
Here's the panda's 2nd CG. It seems the best way to get rainbow keys is by trading in silver spheres for keys at the shop. Spheres are obtained from the repeatable HARD level difficulty story quests. I'm only able to complete the very first ones on full auto without understanding the gameplay.

So obtaining a new SSRs 2nd CG is a bit more involved and will take longer since there's a decent amount of tutorial to clear before you can unlock or complete HARD level difficulty. Even just new account creation for your first pull then leveling up an SR for his CG is a lengthy process. So I wouldn't recommended reroll macro spam to unlock stills like you could do with anothereidos.
I noticed there is still space for another CG to be added even for SSRs. It's a bit weird that only one CG is unlocked after the 1st limit break when you can limit break 4 times, so it's possible additional CGs will be added for later limit breaks. Either that or characters will obtain new CGs though some other method. I hope it's not like AER's limited system. We'll for sure get limiteds with limited CGs, but at least this game has actual gacha and dupe mechanics. AER is also dumping more limiteds than DMM does for their waifu games and they only just entered their 2nd year... (it's also nowhere it needs to be after a year of service wtf)

Items you get aside, Hard is actually more efficient for rank exp and character exp than Extra is for raids. And Normal.
If you click and hold on top of the raid boss it opens a screen showing which buffs and debuffs they have.
Wish it was more descriptive since debuffs and buffs can have different values. Not every attack up buff is the same percent.
Have people figured out which are the best units? For SSR I think there's this Gigant dude who seems to be used by everyone

Jokes aside this green bear does 0 damage and it can't be helped because I don't understand any of the mechanics.
General idea is
1. Summon a god weapon that matches either the element or main weapons of your team
2. Build up combo by using weapons that have high hit counts
3. Once youre max combo, unleash your strongest attacks.
Since it usually takes 4 turns to get your ults, it can pay to lay off summoning your god for a turn.
I checked both his skills and the first weapon, neither is the problem. See picrel, both are spears of the same element, but with different rarities and different skills, the top has an offensive skill, the second has a healing skill. Check your SR weapons and see if one or both of them has a healing skill, basically if it doesn't have ATK or MATK it likely isn't an offensive skill and if you're using auto and he's prioritizing using those weapons, that explains why he isn't attacking.

Everyone probably just has him because he was part of the SSR pool which you could transfer to the actual game.
Most SSRs just buff units of their element while debuffing enemies of the weak element further, so there isn't really any one best. This guys ult is useful against any boss of any type though.
Also this guy adds +1 to all weapon usage count when summoned, and one his attacks adds +1 to a random weapon as well. Thats not super amazing or anything, especially since the attack part is random and could land on a weapon you dont really need, but weapon use restoration is an ability unique to him.

The lion SSR also has an ult thats useful on any team, since it grants Damage Cut (which reduces all damage you take by a certain percent)
He's the one I liked most from the pre-reg SSRs so that was probably the case for most people.
I wish in-battle it told you how many hits a weapon does, it only tells you outside of battle so you have to memorize it. It matters for combos.
Protip: If you die in a raid, but others complete it afterwards, you can still get the exp and rewards for it by clicking the middle tab here.

You're not doing it alone, the rewards are for the raid being completed not you defeating the boss. If you're asking why you can go to the middle tab to claim the rewards later, it's because otherwise you'd have to sit there until the others finish it which would be a waste of time.
I'm probably playing wrong or don't recongoize how powerful SSRs are, but it is a b***h to level this guy. The gold keys seem abundant and I'm limit breaking SRs like crazy, but these rainbow keys are non-existent. I think most of them are just coming from the one-time(?) mission rewards. I can't imagine having two SSRs on the same team. I suppose it gives you something grind towards which is nice.
We also got 10 from daily login and 15 from weekly missions, they're rarer than gold keys for obvious reasons, but it's not that bad. Personally I don't think there's a need to rush at limit breaking SSRs right now, getting your SRs and Rs (if you're using them) up to par with them is a bigger priority.
Eventually every multiroll give you enough key sales to give you 12 rainbow keys minimum too. Though by the time you get to the point where you can sell your entire multiroll for coins, you probably won't even need rainbow keys anymore.
Are we supposed to get the rest of his keys from his raid or is there another mission I missed? Also, has anyone confirmed if you can mix character specific keys with the generic ones when limit breaking?

Just realized something about the RP recovery potions in the shop: They cost less than you spend to get them. Extra difficulty raid bosses cost 10RP, and guarantee at least 100 stone thingies. And the potions restore 30RP, and yet cost 50 stone thingies each. Do the math.
You cant buy them infinitely, they only refresh once per month, but still.
this is true with all difficulties of the raid as normal difficulty ones usually give at least 20(not counting MVP/Host bonuses even)
Thats not as efficient though. Thats minimum 60 stones gained per 10 RP spent, versus minimum 100.

Here's Chuck's 2nd scene and two other SSR soulmates. Originally I did a multi roll on that account so I could trade in keys to level up Chuck, but it game me two more SSRs. In terms of speedrunning the best option seems to be to use stones to buy rainbow keys. Meat is a bit more tricky, I don't think there's a stone option for it, but the minimum meat requirement for the 2nd SSR CG is still kinda grindy. I ended up using the "pity capsules" they give you for summoning to buy meat-on-the-bone from the shop.

What is everyone spending their AP on aside from raids?
AP doesn't get used for raids, RP does. I believe RP is only used in raids (make sure to also start these yourself). I'm not sure if it's optimal but there's plenty of first time clear rewards for you to snatch using AP such as
>Story quests (hard and easy)
>Weapon quests (Each character as one)
>Daily quests (2 a day of each)
After that and doing the the daily quests I think the best place to dump AP is the repeatable Hard Mode story quests to get spheres to buy more keys from the shop. Make sure to turn on x2 AP to make it go quicker.

No, the game is balanced logically so harder/higher AP quests give more spheres per ap.
I haven't unlocked every hard quest yet, but the pattern seems to be:
>Three episodes per chapter
>Five battles per episode
>Each battle in an episode gets more efficient than previous.
>The first battle of an episode is more efficient than the last battle of the previous episode, therefore the last battle of the third episode is always best.
>Only differences between each chapter is the element of the rocks they drop and the recommended power level. AP cost efficiency remains the same between chapters.
huh, so it seems like the best option is to build a team based on a single element and then grind a specific chapter.
wind/earth/fire/water are best choices for that as they are not weak to the element they counter unlike light/dark

Yeah, another important thing to note is all 5 battles in the 3rd hard mission have the same sphere efficiency. The difference between the third episode battles, within a chapter, are the types of upgrade mats. Each chapter also changes the type of slates the battle drops.
The first chapter, 3rd episode, focuses on wind element, swords, cross sword, and glove slates.
The fifth chapter, 3rd episode, focuses on earth element, axes, trident, and staff slates.
So:
>Pick an element and weapon slate type you want to upgrade.
>Choose the respective 3rd episode battle to grind, sphere efficiency is the same for all.
There's no point in grinding episode 1 or 2 unless you want some of the lower tier weapon frags and slates for some reason.
It's worth confirming you should always buy the AP potion from the story shop every month. You don't have to use it right away (may be best to save it for events?), but it's free AP with the highest AP cost battles.

>300 AP = 450 Gold spheres
So you get a return of 150 gold spheres with the current battles if you recycle.
Actually Im pretty sure most of the final Hard stages regularly drop 90 gold orbs, not 45.
They do take longer to win, but it's still double the orbs for the same AP.
Is that for chapter 5? Or is there a 6th battle in the 3rd episode? I haven't been able to complete the 5th battle in any of the 3rd episodes. Chapter 5 2-5 and Chapter 1 2-5 for sure have the same orb count.

Okay so I guess you can obtain items that are not in the rewards preview. That's annoying but whatever. Why can't they ever make it easy...
So as I understand it, all of the 5th battles of every chapter actually drop an additional 45 gold orbs. But, battles 1-4 will always drop only 45 gold orbs. So gold orb grinding should always be done on the 5th battle. The chapter the 5th battle takes place in doesn't matter if you only care about orbs.
Other non-orb items can be RNG.
I guess 90 isnt guaranteed.

That is the case in the weapon quests at least, despite only listing 3 possible drops, I've gotten multiples of them most often than not (eg: 1, 1, 2, 2 and 3), though I don't have any screenshots to prove it now. I assume that's what's happening with the gold orbs, he's getting the drop twice.

Without going through all of the quests the best way to find this is by using the ingame encyclopedia feature. Simply hold down on the weapon you want to upgrade, go to the limit break screen then click on the mat you're missing. This will bring up a list of hard quests you can grab the item from. You can also go into your inventory to check for item locations if you don't have anything that requires them yet.
The other option is to go your inventory, which catalogues every item in the game, then page through to the item you want and clicking on it. No wiki needed.

The I only had two pre-gacha accounts, and the one with the panda had an abysmal first roll and my alt with the hyena had a much better one. At the time it didnt bother me because it was a really good start, but thats all it was, a good start.
I probably shoulda played both accounts equally if I knew how easy it was to get like 20 multirolls in the beginning for nearly every SR. There's no way im replaying like 5 days worth of raid grinding and quests at this point though.
How did you get so many rainbow keys? I'm not sure if I should farm Hard story for silver medals and use those to buy them in the store.
The first thing I did was farm Extra difficulty raids (usually by just hitting auto, leaving when I die, and claiming the rewards) to buy all 30 AP and RP potions in the raid shop, then I farmed a few character weapons with said AP potions, then I used AP boosts on Hard mode story quests because they give good rank and character exp, and then I bought rainbow keys with the gold orbs hard mode gives.
Thanks for the tip, I'll try that for my team. It seems R characters are not worth it due to their low stats? I was planning on using the light cowboy since he should be easy to level up and his Divine skill (The strong attack) is a party heal. But seing your team maybe the wind bear from story is better just for the better stats of an SR.
Gab is made of paper and will die easily unless you max him. I use him for two reasons.
1. The Skill upgrade on his panel upgrade path thingy makes his ult cure any status effect, which is pretty rare and hard to come by.
2. He's cute.
Besides basic level ups, there's also weapon level ups, weapon bonus stats for matching element and/or weapon preference, the Ability panel which gives stat bonuses to a characters innate weapon, and as you level up characters (including your artifact characters) they get passive abilities that increase the power of everyone on your team with either a matching element or matching preferred weapon, depending on the character. The game is intended to be built around building a team that focuses on either a specific element, or a specific weapon type.
really wish i could avoid rolling before first limited/specific character rate-up banners, but it seems it's not an option for now

You're not using your normal raid entries then, you should be getting a good amount of bronze paper from that + expeditions.
Also I have almost no SR weapons, the sheets to upgrade abilities are so uncommon or I'm not getting that much, and too many characters to level up. The easiest way to get a strong team is basically using a fully R-SR ranks one with full ascensions lol
Make sure youre doing your expeditions I guess, and power up your team so they can do higher level expeditions. This will give you more ability mats.
My problem is I have a lot of advanced mats but not basic ones, so I could upgrade higher abilities but not the ones that require Normal rank sheets
Also rolling a lot and getting keys of characters you've already maxed lets you sell them for red coins which also can get you many keys, and quests and dupes

Switch to Bluestacks for this. Not only does it freeze less but it's more responsive. At least, this was the case for me anyway.
I've had many problems with bluestacks in the past so I'll pass on that. Also as I explained it's easy to get around the freezes, so it's not a problem to me.

It's easy to speedrun on full-auto with a 2nd limit break support. Hardmode is a bit more difficult if you haven't invested/understood the mechanics.

There's no time limit for getting all 3 rewards so just play as efficiently as possible. Narrow down your characters with survival, restoration, and support based ults and raise them up. Youll do piss damage, but you'll eventually win if you play right.
Though, if you can, it wont hurt to squeeze in your best general damage dealer. The faster an enemy dies, the easier staying alive will be afterwards.
How do weapons and elements work? If I equip a dude with with something that's off element and off weapon type how much of a loss in stats is that?
I can do the math in a but but you can test yourself. On the team building page just hold down on a character and itll tell you their current stats with their weapons.
I just mean is it noticeable? I know elements matter but since I can't make a full elementally similar team I'm just wondering the best way to do this for now.
It appears each match is a 10% increase in stats for the weapon, so 20% for the both.
This isn't noticeable on low level weapons, but on a maxed out weapon, it can matter. If youre just throwing level 1 Common weapons on your chars matching isnt gonna make any difference.

If you go through the second page of Gabs skill panel, his ult cures status effects. So does Joe.
Sevens skill panel upgrade gives 10% ult gauge to everyone. So does Emua, but only 5%.
If you intend to spend panel mats on a healer, pick your poison.
How do you know he spent for pulls? I have the same amount of SSRs + 2 support SSRs but I still have tons of free stones left.
It's simple. I misunderstood the catalog and thought he had every character.
R units are easier to max, but their level cap is 50 and have overall less stats than higher rarity units at that level. They don't have good weapon skills and struggle with any hard content.
In conclusion, they are garbage they aren't worth upgrading in the long run. Stick to SRs and SSRs, you don't get bonuses for using low rarity units. If only game gave more mats for uncaping them.
Theyre perfectly usable in the current meta if you fill up their skill panel.

Why is Gary's weapon allowed to be better than Ugou's weapon in every single possible way? They're the same rarity and both weapon quests, yet Gary's is clearly superior.

Questionable, but okay I'll just skip the bottom row on the 2nd page. There's some advantages to giving all characters the same resource requirements, but there's some instances where you're spending the same resources for +20 HP for some characters and +210 ATK on others.
IMO the panda wins out there, that attack boost is what really matters.
Yeah it's not really an issue in the long run but i'll need to eat a bunch of mats for meh skills before I get to the Panda's real skills. For minmax efficiency autists like me you'll also need to decide between eating a meh skill to go to the next skill for the same cost of an actual good skill. Only the position of the skill on the grid determines its mats. In other news I learned you can go backwards on the skill grid which is a great feature.

I dont know what youre talking about, but the RP potions in the raid shop are super cheap considering, so just grab them all.

Oh. You can buy them from the story quest shop, and I think the raid shop too? It's the items that have the raid boss character on them.

Oguma is the rock type wolf, he gives a 3 turns small HoT while I wait for the healer's skill. He's awesome, go get him
You know if you just leveled up Oguma one more time his Ult wouldve leveled up too.

I was just wondering if he's currently the strongest light summon. He seems way better than excal but excal seems like a generalist.
Id say hes the best for just general everyday usage but it doesnt matter a ton. You need at least one summon at level 80 for the beginner quest anyway so might as well.
