I’m already perpetually stuck at 999 of the tier 3 fruit so them being gone from chapter 10 is a convenience. Though they really need to distribute some of the tier 1 and 2 fruit to later chapters. We still haven’t even got Reefer so I’m really wondering when they do plan to drop the other beast gods as well.

Are there any units that can taunt away magical attacks or heal based on a percentage of the target's max HP? I want to use Silva more but she's pretty weak outside dungeons, so I need some supports like that to help her out.
Mainly Mauro’s tokens though generally anything placed after her will have more targeting priority than her. Don’t think we have percentage heals outside of recovery on hit though.

Very nice, I saw her buffing abilities and wanted to make use of that for Lapurum, but her range may be so big that it'd be overshadowed. Thanks for the friend code too, hadn't had a chance to try her myself yet but I'm leaning towards getting her now

Oh yeah, forgot Kouta. She has taunt permanently once her skill is up. She only has physical damage reduction though. Normal Rin also has taunt on skill, but her skill isn’t permanent.
Primville (earth conjurer) heals 10% of her hp per second passively and heals allies within range 5% of their hp per second during skill (20s, 40s cd). Her redeploy is also cut by 70% so you only have to wait 18s if she dies. If you have the event mermaid(bishopfish), she's a single target healer and has magic damage reduction so she can probably tank some hits if aggro isn't like the Yomi ship boss.
As for taunters, Mauro was already mentioned so I'll bring up the others. Nyarutan has taunt and 90% evade but only while moving. Her block isn't 0 though so she stops for a swing if there's any blockable units in her path. Not sure if this disables her evasion or not. New Years Platina also has taunt during her skill and cannot die during it as well, but you have to wait 9 seconds after deploying unless you have start charger.
There's also the subskill from labyrinth 13 that boosts damage by 1.6x with 10% hp recoil per hit. It's too risky to use on auto dps but it's a nice boost on healers with minimum drawback.

Are you saying that it gives a 1.6x boost to healing but without the user taking any recoil damage? I would test it myself, but I don't have it yet.
I was thinking of giving it to Silva as well. I usually place her first (even though I should probably place a lancer instead) so the cost reduction will be nice.
Damage multipliers apply to healing. However, the recoil still applies. Just think of a healer's heal as their attack. An oracle can kill themselves theoretically in a single heal due to this. Heals can also crit by the way if given a crit subskill or Usco.
Go for it. There are also Nips falling to this, so with enough complaints they'll likely implement a grace period or an alternate way to get the subskill later.

A few months ago, DMM as a whole rolled out site wide region blocks with apparently account level exceptions dependent on spending. Some people report no issue, while others got fully blocked from any DMM game. However this was months ago. If they're doing another wave or there might be rolling blocks for some other reason, most people would not know. It's bypassable with a VPN and for most games you can just turn the VPN off once in-game as the only DMM connection is the login to Fanza when starting the game. Either that or just play normally on the Play/App store version. This inconvenience did cause a lot of people to drop their DMM games.

ive seen this theory repeated a few times and it seems like some conspiracy theory to me. i never bought anything and never got blocked from anything by dmm, only games doing their own blocking like kancolle.

After doing a bit of digging, I've found that the theory comes from a survey conducted on an English discord server for Taimanin RPGX, which apparently indicated that anyone, with few exceptions, who attempted to connect to DMM while both outside Japan and having spent under 10k yen were region blocked back in July.
The exceptions are related to additional factors that aren't entirely understood, such as the recency/frequency of payments and your country's/ISP's IP ranges.
My first purchase was on anni and I was filtered. Logged on with a vpn yesterday and I needed to accept a new agreement because of an addendum: "A provision has been added that states that if a customer does not log in to a game provided by the Company for one year, the Company may delete the customer's play data for that game." This additional was dated 10/13. I mainly play the android version with updates through qooapp.

Way too many systems in GC compared to Twinkle and monmusuTD. It's more comparable to mist train or tenkai paradox. I personally don't find the gameplay fun in GC either.

I've finally hit the AP/BP starvation attempting to finish up the first event and still have some ways to go with the Manet event. I mean I can roll to increase EP percentage on Arte but I'm not feeling this skin.
Actually farming out the higher rewards in an event seems like something you should only do if you intend on rolling the bonus character at this point. The only thing really worthwhile in the higher tiers are the accessory coins.
I finished all the 7 daily start dash missions, but how do I claim the OP gold subskill? Are they gonna send it in the mail or do I have to accept it somehow before the missions end in 16 hours?

Who are you guys giving the login subskill to? Seems best on lancers so you can make them tankier and generate cost asap? Never found cost reduction super helpful except at the beginning of stages where you don't have your cost engines running yet or need to block off a path asap with a paladin.
Generally my lancers in my elemental teams, but for my meta team, I give it to Ifijar who is one of the few units I want both HP and attack. Thinking about it, being one of the few subskills that raise both HP and attack, it's good for Silva too.

So what's the best position to place a tank for this endless boss? I tried near the exit, top right, and in the middle left lane. None of them seemed ideal.
Here's my setup. It seems the boss caps out at 50. Mission straight ends after this wave and the final checkpoint is wave 49 rather than 50. Igni is normally deployed where I circled. Melon is given -60% redeploy to drop/blow away rocks without exploding them. Airen is to cover leftover rocks. Those 3 are basically on rock duty. Ifijar is given +35% HP and Iron Body. Rakion is the primary DPS with her EX2, Deathstrike, and Limit Break. Everybody else is there to buff.

Probably a result of AI scanning. Things like anti-virus have been actually working off AI and machine learning to identify threats for far longer than the actual AI boom and its been the major reason for the vast majority of false positives. I recently learned this when learning that there's a small indicator in the names of what the anti-virus thinks is a virus if it's from a machine learning identification.
It makes a lot more sense when you realize that assuredly no actual human is manually cataloging all possible malware for these lists. For many small tech companies, it is outright definite they're working with generated lists of some kind. Though to be realistic.

It seems they're actually trying to fix the game quickly and I do appreciate it. But a lot of this makes it apparent they should have had a soft release or beta of some sort as it's quite apparent the game needed a month to work the kinks out. It's just that they were already late going by the immediate Halloween event start. A lot of these fixes give the feel of the team assigned to work on this game being completely inexperienced and them having to bring in people who actually know QoL standards.
That's literally every release. JPs might playtest internally but seems most generally don't playtest things that require a shit ton of repetition aside from deciding how long it should take to amass enough resources for something you aren't paying for. For example, I don't mind playing maps but making me replay maps for daily rewards? Frick that. Even makes their list-skip button for dailies completely useless.
Generally what's bad for such games is front loading complicated content on what should be simple to finish maps. And while I don't find many really too awful, the AI does and everyone seems to rely on the AI.
Also columns have no business having 5k hp in early chapters when your girls can't destroy them in one hit.
What was def/spirit for if it wasn't being used in received damage calculations? There's a separate stat for blocking. Resisting ailments?
I haven't really experienced enemy range being an issue, even when I had to play it safe on maps with a large level discrepancy. But I've mostly done events and dailies. Only noticed maybe the mannequin thing with the spear being able to hit a lot.
I love Gogh but pervert e-girl is always in front killing things before the enemy even gets their turn. And when Gogh is around she doesn't seem to do much damage.
Some good QoL here, but a lot of these changes are pretty pointless, like the red book level limit being removed. Everyone will have accounts past the artist level limit of 50 within a month or two, and red books are super rare anyway.
Defense and spirit being made more relevant in damage calcs seems like a really bad idea, though. They're essentially taking an already slow-paced game and making it even slower, while cementing units with spirit-ignoring push skills (Arte) as kings of the meta.
Also, I hope they actually do nerf enemy range across the board. Most are so oppressive that the whole map becomes unsafe the second they spawn. It's extra bad for units like Vermeer and Gogh, who are already difficult to use because of their shit movement, since their relative frailty can be exploited no matter where they are on the map.

Finally, I'm certain that was supposed to be like that in the first place considering there'd be no reason for the skip all 3 missions menu to exist otherwise. AI still needs work though. While the AI will target pillars if the boss is behind them, their targeting seems to prioritize bombs and random pillars. Bombs also aren't strong enough to break pillars.

That is girl's creation. You move your character through enemies and also have skills to deal damage. One layer of map forms on the upper right side and one layer of map falls away from the bottom left every turn. Whether it's good or not depends on what you like. For me, it is not good because it has way too many systems and the auto doesn't work on some of the easiest levels. Also I don't find the gameplay to be fun.
I dropped it after 3 days, the gameplay, on top of being unfun, was also too slow, one stage takes forever to clear and the events design is just bizarre.
Oh yea, I forgot about the events. I only got to around 50k points out of 130k(?) for the top reward before they introduced a second event on top of the old one. I was only playing once a day, but that still included all the bonus stamina and AP from all the rank ups. Seemed like you had to burn gems/stamina potions just to get all of the event rewards.
It's alright. The gameplay is pretty fun even though each battle takes too long.
Gem income seems really stingy so far, and the devs expect you to spend a lot of it on stamina refills. Plus the potential crafting and inheritance system is horrible. Not sure how long I'll play.

Maybe I needed to be there at the start but Flower Knight Girl is what I dislike about some gacha games way too many things to click on or to navigate in, Disgaea had this issue and it was like that from the start. It has some nice art though but I couldn't keep playing that.

Vickine's squad buff is far more broad. Her applicable pool is basically half the units in the game.
Well I ended up going to 15 10 pulls on the 1.5 anni banner. I got Teruru and Rin on the way and picked up Petra. I was going to save but after that big amount they dropped on us I figured I'd try for Rin who came to me at pull number 12 and I decided to finish it out from there.
Here's to hoping the Yokai banner isn't too soon.

They are adding steps to the TD games collab that Aigis, Castle Defense RE, and MonMusu has. Should be in a few hours from now. It's 5 new steps in each game, plus you get extra currency for logging in between now and some time in December.

Is there a walkthrough for the Aigis and Oshiro Project steps? I've read about them and completing their steps is supposedly much more difficult than in MMTD.
For these steps you don’t have to 3-star so Aigis is actually extremely lenient if you can get a carry unit that can clear out a large portion of the stage. You should login as recently they gave out a free hero ticket which I don’t know is still around. Currently there’s a free pack in Aigis’s store which includes 12 awakening orbs which is enough to instantly raise 2 6*s as well.
Oshiro though is much more of an issue. You’re not defending a waypoint, but the main character who has his own HP. If you have no intentions of playing the game seriously, there’s an option to power him up to auto win mode at the cost of orbs or something that costs orbs. In terms of actual gameplay, it’s a lot different in that you upgrade units in stage which is more traditional tower defense. You also level them up, but raising units in Oshiro is so much more of a pain in the ass as you get frickall for experience fodder and max LB and equipment slots requires dupes or very rare fodder units.
Thanks for the advice. I started playing Aigis today and used all the tickets in my present box, did the 2 free summons on the gacha screen, and got the free pack from the store.
These are the units I have. Is there anyone here I should prioritize investing in, or should I just use whatever the frick and rush ranks 10 and 25 so I can pick Dina and Rinne?
third unit in the picture is a win the game unit, raise her. you should have blue orbs from anniversary, throw those at her. Yuugen is also very good (first unit in the picture) but heroes take rarer resources to raise them all the way.

Nah, you'd just need the spirit and a little bit of gold since hero units are already awakened. You could save them for other units instead though, it's up to you. That is if the free pack is what gave them to me.

Rather than Dina and Rinne, I would recommend Altair from one of the pick tickets for long term value being one of the best cost generators in the game. Though frankly speaking, Lynx serves as both a cost generator and healer, so you don't need either Altair or Rinne that much. Dina also requires her SAW to be worthwhile and you already have a super melee AoE carry with Aran, the one who people have already told you is busted.
Yuugen is the hero you got which isn't bad though she's very specialized. She can solo entire maps with correct play, but she's also the most micro heavy unit in the game. She doesn't shoot arrow rains like in Monmusu, she has a targeter that just flat out makes her shoot everything you manage to get in its range. She also requires SAW for best performance.
In terms of power, if you can, throw as much summons into this banner before it goes away. Well if you're not more interested in potential collab units. Either of these heroes would be great with the one on the left being the best tank ever released and the one on the right being a pretty good ranged unit who has a token that allows omni placement for any unit.

Also, I'm not even done with chapter 2 yet and I'm already getting filtered really badly. I think I'm misunderstanding some basic way you have to play the game, like how you need to deploy lancers first in MMTD. Leveling Aran didn't seem to help either since she only gained a tiny amount of stats in 30 levels.

The lancers on horseback give UP when they get the killing blow on an enemy.
Some soldiers have a skill that gives UP when you use it. There is a gold one you can get from doing the set of missions, it's in the area in the top right when you're on the main battle select screen and then from there it should be the bottom right one, it mentions *3 on it.
I tried to field a few low rarity units that generate UP, but they blew up the second they got touched by an enemy.
I guess I need to grind the EXP fairy dailies so I can level them up more.

Outside of the more special variants rewarded for different reasons. Those are completely redundant and pointless. The ones that each correspond to a rarity which give 1k experience each. They give a fifth of the experience of platinum armors which are on a different daily and give 5k. They exist primarily for the basic class change which a lot of new classes just release without at this point.
Also that’s unfortunate to hear, but Char and Minerva aren’t bad at least. The most major type of support unit in the game is the chef class, being one of the few limit 1 classes in the game. Augusta heavily buffs all female melee units. Delphine heavily buffs all female ranged units. Valentine’s Augusta moderately buffs all females. Chef buffs work as a growing buff the longer they and the buffed units are on the field growing up to +1500 in all stats(800 instead for Valentine’s Augusta due to essentially buffing nearly everybody). They’re what Shamans were based off, but they don’t care about range, just time deployed. The sheer size of the buff trivializes all normal content. The other major support class is Blacksmith. Teeny for melee, Vulcano for ranged. They essentially give a percentage squad buff for their targeted group and further buffs when on field. There’s Hero King prince as well as most of his forms, but Hero King specifically is the most general and specialized for buffing. The title that unlocks that form is awarded from completing a mission in an old archived event. Hero King’s Successor on the wiki. It gives the Prince a throne to sit on. A limited unit to look out for is EthEith which is a massive range buffer/true attacker. Also, Ridley, her Hot Springs version is slightly better, but her normal version also works. Gives 50%(60% for the HS version) skill cooldown reduction to all allies in range. You can get 45/35% though with the rearguard tactician class in general with Leona being available in the RC shop.

The chef buffs unfortunately stack additively at the end. It’s great for everything with not insane multipliers, but not as good for things that do, Aran being one of them. Like Aran by herself can reach over 10k attack so adding 1500 ain’t a lot to her. However what’s really big about chefs is that they essentially make every unit a tank. It’s 1500 defense and +3000 max HP. Blacksmiths on the other hand are multipliers which work very well with other multipliers like Aran. Rather most buffs are multipliers and it’s particularly chefs and dancers that give flat stats. Buffs get really crazy in Aigis due to this if you have every relevant unit. However that’s vast overkill for everything that isn’t Majins.

Anyway, I made some progress today, scrounged up some more pulls, and got a few black tickets somehow. Still didn't get the banner Heroes, but between the pulls and tickets I wound up with Neve, Alta, Teeny, and Yoshino. I awakened Teeny, since you mentioned her before, and I also figured out how to do the second awakening for both Aran and Teeny.
Now I wanna upgrade Alta because she looks cool, but I'm out of first awakening orbs.
So, I have some stupid questions:
How do I get more first awakening orbs?
What is the difference between class changing and using first awakening orbs?
And what do I do with all the excess low rarity fodder units clogging my inventory?
Also I've been reading the wiki to learn more about the game, but is there a tier list or pastebin similar to MMTD's that explains all the units and game mechanics (such as buff stacking formulas)?
Awakening orbs are generally pretty rare as you're supposed to just awaken units like normal. They're rewarded in some events, a few beginner missions, and also sold in packs sometimes, but not too valuable in the long run. Great for jumpstarting at the beginning though. There's 3 rank up processes.
Class change
1st awakening(the orbs skip this)
2nd awakening
Class change is the most basic and cheapest and newer classes generally don't require it. You can tell a unit needs to Class change if their level cap is 50. You need level 30, 3 low rarity fodder units, and the appropriate rarity Class fairy which you will have a pointless amount of.
The 1st awakening is where most of the expenses come in, requiring 100 affection, max level, 3 gold or 3 Class changed silvers, the awakening fairy(bought with demon crystals), and some Class orbs(from dailies). Orbs simply do all this for free including the class change before this.
2nd awakening just requires the 3 fodder golds/CC'd silvers, gold, Class orbs, and the 2nd awakening fairy who is bought for 20 RC.
For barracks clogging, the only thing to do is bite the bullet and buy all the barracks expansions which then unlock the ability to buy the 2nd barracks and fodder barracks. It costs about 100ish SC in total. This is an inevitable QoL purchase, but one that can be put off when you don't currently have good units to roll for.

And thanks for that link. Still not super confident on the details, but I think I know how to stack buffs and make a decent team now. I have attack buffs in all three types, as well as some passive buffs from Teeny and the Hero King Prince, so now I just need a flat stat buffer like a chef, and a cooldown reduction unit like Leona or Risley.
I'm almost ready to stop asking stupid questions. Here's the last few:
What do I do with black and platinum dupes? I have already been spooked by a dupe Altair, Yoshino, and Alta.
Are there units similar to MMTD's Miradora (strong and super long range DPS), and fairies (don't take a deploy slot)?

There’s a final barracks upgrade for another 30 SC and it gives the fodder unit storage and the gold and below barracks plus another additional normal barracks.
Regarding black dupes that aren’t the free AW2 copy, you really only just sell them for Rainbow Crystals. You can’t use duplicate units in Majins and towers which is the hardest content. However you can use dupes elsewhere including Great Wars like the event currently running which requires 3 teams. An old player mighty just raise dupes so they can run the exact same core carry team 3 times to not have to think. Some units can do really cheesy things if you field multiple of them. Particularly anything with time stop. Eithne being a prime example.
In regards to super strong ranged DPS, there’s loads. Most Black archers for example have a rapid shooting skill like Rakion’s. Ceremonial Magicians are all absurdly strong as they’re the ranged counterpart to Aran’s class. However the two most broken ranged units currently would be Ephtra, a hero unit, and Swimsuit Tytto, a summer unit. Also, to round things off I’ll mention Yipha who’s in the standard pool. Will summarize them in next post due to character limit.
Ephtra is considered the most broken unit in the game, having an instant skill that nukes 8 enemies and has global range. What really makes her broken is giving her skill cooldown reduction and using Leora(Leona’s sister) to auto activate her skill. Aigis is old in that auto skill was given to a unit rather than ever made into a toggle. Leora’s swimsuit version also has it and is available in the time crystal shop after you clear a mission from her archived event. She’s someone you should grab for convenience’s sake. Having a Vanguard Tactician is also nice as they give a 3 cost discount to all units.
Swimsuit Tytto is basically a meteor shower. As in she just has nearly nap wide range and rains down meteors. Her stats are lowered initially, but ramp to way higher than a normal mage’s attack. She also costs 4. 1 if you have a Vanguard Tactician deployed. Raped tower when she came out, soloing many floors.
Yipha is a Dragoon. She shouts giant double explosions that deal 30-50k damage each when decently buffed. Costs a frickload though and has relatively normal range.
In regards to units that don’t take deployment, scouts are the main group which are a limit 1 class like chefs. They debuff enemy defenses and cause units to prioritize enemies in their range. Renata, the black scout, is one of the best ranged buffers in the game while also having perma stealth. A few youkai classes also ignore deployment limit. Inugami, Nekomata, Nue, and the Youkai Hero who is unfortunately paid.
Regarding the RC shop. Also grab the black hero cost and skill fairies every month too. Most people do 1 of the premium summons for 500 RC per month as well. It has a pretty decent black chance and gives a plat otherwise. Regarding, the various units, it’s all a bunch of not really or if you like them. School Cafeteria Mortimer is notable for being a chef for male units. He is very useful for the male gift dailies and the very few 4* missions that are male only. Past him, you’d mainly be getting most RC units to fill out your collection/see their scenes.
I should probably mentioned notable old welfares which can be bought with time crystals(the yellow ones). The time crystal shop expands with each old event you do the first mission of. This include several platinum heroes. However the ones of particular note are Sanara whose tile buffs are only slightly weaker than her black version and Sanmoto who ignores deployment limit. A unit of massive note is Suzune who copies another unit. And is also why Latzel is so restricted. Suzune has shit base stats, but that doesn’t matter if she copies a utility class or a class that has shit base stats too like Ceremonials and Tytto. Also, if you still want more cost generation, Bride Diera is good for quick cost.

Also, on the topic of rainbow crystal shop. Buy out all the black rings. Then the medals, then platinum/gold rings if you still have RC to spare. Same for the demon crystal(the red ones) shop. When you take a unit to 150%(5 rings) affection with rings, you get 5 SC for black units, 3 for platinum, and 1 for gold. Rings refresh every month so they become a growing stockpile that can be cashed in when you find the time to gift farm. Medals are specific to males and a common tactic is to buy White Emperors to take to 150% to get 5 SC per. If you need more rainbow crystals, just sell whatever golds you seem to have more of. Demon crystals though you have to farm.
Aran ramps every second she's not attacking and has permanent attack multipliers with her SAW. However if she's dropped on top of enemies and constantly attacking, then her attack never builds up. She also benefits massively from her 2nd awakening where you can either gain a defense or attack buff for enemies dead depending on which branch is chosen.
By the way when you 2nd awaken any black the first time, you get another copy for free for taking down the other path. Story mode doesn't have dupe restrictions so raising your second Aran would double your power.

I think you need to buy them from a certain event, the rankichi events. After that, you'll be able to select and upgrade them off of the character screen, or toggle them off of the party selection HUD

not at all. at least when playing manual, idk about auto. there are low rarity support units like luluka that can easily carry you. although its kinda annoying that you need to collect dupes to get a character to 3* to use ex2(most notably luriel), but its not that big of a deal. generally so far its a pretty chill and casual game.
I remember Misa, Ria, and Lolotte being the fan favorites in that order. Ria's EX Skill removes enemy EX Gauge and does knockback.
After playing for a bit it's seems to be more simpler than Crusaders. The element wheel doesn't really seem to be present for Rumble anymore. Taking damage doesn't immediately lock you out of God Rank so it's a lot less luck based and Rocket Start timing is very loose.
I started with Nezemine(?) and got Misa in 2 multi pulls so I'm pretty happy.
Any broken characters? I remember there being some pretty broken characters in the fandisk.
Twinkle Star Knights is completely unbalanced to the point they gave up trying, but let’s go over the basics.

Luriel is the girl with the trumpet. She’s a two star, when you get enough dupes to 3 star her, you get an EX that gives a 200% attack buff at max level and propels the entire team forward about 7 notes. She made light absolutely broken in comparison to other elements when the game started to the point they released a Luriel equivalent with the exact same type of EX2 to all other elements.

Unique accessories also give an additional +50% to the values of EX skills making these buffs 300% with a maxed accessory.

After releasing Ixillion they realized their mistake and made every other pseudo charge skill have a cooldown. However Ixillion doesn’t and can stack her EX1 buff on top of getting her free normal hit in.

Arguably the most powerful unit in the game and is also a 2*. Her EX2 reduces action cooldown. It can stack with itself. It caps out, but combined with Luriel and Venus you can get an infinite turn engine that also repeatedly buffs itself infinitely. She’s focused towards light with her buff being half power for other elements and this makes light teams the strongest until they repeat their mistake and make other element versions of her.

Has a large propel on EX1 and is the third main combo piece of light team shenanigans. Swimsuit Fiona has a similar EX1 for water, but there isn’t a water Koharuko yet.

What little I've learned is mostly gleaned from Japanese wiki comments. The lack of resources to easily build or max 7*s also makes it difficult for me to experiment a lot with what I do have.

Yes, simply make a DMM account. However, you may also have to deal with region blocking in which case just use a VPN. Also, foreign accounts are for some reason naturally restricted from the SFW DMM versions, but not the NSFW versions of games which share the same servers/accounts. You’re looking for the Fanza DMM side which is where all the R18 stuff is.

Personally I get the lower tier books and reports because they tend to run out quick.

Ah crap that TSK 77 mission that requires full water team to beat hard stages is really hard for me. I only have that free event Lululotte at 3 star with levels and no water attackers.
Your best bet is Ruruka buffing Sophia. Just level Sophia as high as you’re willing, give her your best weapon, and level both her and Ruruka’s EX1s as much as you’re willing. Ruruka was carrying people at the launch of the game and story content is a lot more about managing waves so your team doesn’t get blindsided when the next wave spawns right after everybody used their turn on clearing the previous one.
Got both the Wraith and Stone Golem in 40 rolls. However they are both plainly mediocre unfortunately. Also they decided not to make scythes a new class as she’s just a Berserker.

After experimenting some more. I've come to the conclusion Wraith girl can be quite nutty, but mainly due to Sleeping New Year's.
The second event level in monmusu kicked my ass and I first try cleared the third one. I would always trigger at least one of the characters in the final wave to use their skill and they would just wipe out my team before I could do anything. Are there any tanks that do magic damage outside of skill? I ended up using Rotona because she does basically no damage to reflect back to herself.
Not really. Guardians by their class characteristics do melee damage. For tanks that can handle reflect or pure damage in general, you could go with Lycanthropes for their massive HP pool instead. Alternatively, Miradora Shaman buffed as Gunners do magic damage naturally though she only has 1 block. Io doesn’t quite work due to having a melee physical attack. Poison Rin is also fairly tanky and constantly heals herself.

Does TSK have something like a rainbow team where you use one of each element? Trying to use Misa and Ria together but their EX Skill 2s and Charge requirements are rough. That free Christmas Koumei is helping a lot with bringing them forward though. She seems really good for a freebie.
Currently there just isn’t enough units with the concept for it. Claudia has some synergy for it, but she’s also entirely demon synergy based. TSK released with very few 3*s starting off. Like Anna was literally the only fire 3*. We’ve only recently hit the point where we it’s relatively easy to make a team for each element. However they still have faction synergies left too. Claudia forms the basis for a demon only team, but it’s bare bones at the moment while humans and angels have no synergy units yet. There’s also the problem we have elemental towers so split element teams have less incentive
Actually now that I think about it, Claudia is meant for rainbow teams, it’s just the attacker has to be a demon as her attack buff only affects demons. I think it still moves the whole team forward even if they’re not demons.
Looks like she only affects demons. Guess I'll just have to make do with what I have and wait.

It seems to be a habit from Castles which releases paid units more frequently. They tend to release the paid unit at next year’s banner which will probably be the time frame for Monmusu’s paid units as well. Basically

It’s a sales strategy that works best with a loyal core of dolphins who don’t mind buying a pack every other month which is what the populations of DMM’s other tower defense games essentially are. In terms of monetization, I’m a bit more worried about Twinkle when it finally implements PvP. Twinkle is one of DMM’s most popular games currently and it already throws micro packs at you every second. Paid characters seem to be a general inevitability for every DMM game and consequences of paid characters are much worse in a game with pvp. Though this is purely fearful speculation at this point.

already got both in 100 mind you, but I want to see the meta opinion, and I'll likely use the former regardless because I always used her shaman version, and she has a fun kit with big shields and big range
Guy who writes it here. Haven't got to it yet because Lupuche won't show up in assists. However my basic impression is comparative to Roviris is that she has less damage/clearing capability, but has an entirely new hard CC effect and very large range for a ground unit during skill. This is the sort of thing that can be extremely strong in high difficulty content, but isn't very notable in general content where you just wipe everything normally. It will be amazing when you can use her to completely invalidate an annoying enemy thats too tanky to burst down normally. She also gives another water squad buff though just for defenses which makes it probably the most ignorable squad buff yet.
I did roll Christmas Recliff who is simply very solid. Great range, good damage, and gives out crit buffs. She's not as broken as School Argyuro, but she's still pretty good. Wind seems to be the crit element now and I expect more future synergies are coming.
Also, the new welfare Christmas Rafuka is actually pretty neat. Gives +150 stat buffs that last for 7 seconds each when attacking, +350 during skill, potentially making her one of the most potent buffers in the game. Major issue is she's full melee. She can buff as hard as School Nigiryu and make her buff harder on top. Problem is her having something to consistently whack.
For Aigis, which classes should I prioritize to get awakening/class change first?
That’s much more of a question of who you have rather than their classes. However a summoner of some sort like an Elementalist or something will hard carry early on, even the lower rarity ones.
The strong hero classes. Just look up the hero category in Aigis and look at the generally strong ones.

Only herself, combined with the fact her EX2 naturally costs 300 so you’re only discounting her back to normal cost and still paying 300 overall, she seems bad.

Looks like you need her special equip. It gives her +50 EX gain.
Use her as an EX battery and Unison spam with just her EX 1 by pairing her with Ixillion and Nesemine and then having Ixillion finish with EX 2 at the end.
Nearly all supports have +50 EX gain on their accessory. The major problem is her first EX1 costs 100 EX in the first place and is utterly pointless to use alone. Since it has a cooldown it can’t loop into itself either. Also, for hyperbuffing Ixillion, she has access to two Luriels before this already. Can’t really see a point to any sort of angel combo which will nuke the frick out of whatever substantially sooner.

Eh, it’s just random Nips who haven’t pieced together all their Luriels I suppose. One of them threw out the value of 5.7 million, but that’s not hard to do at all. It’s more that Ixillion is broken. In fact, mine’s EX1 is level 9 still. Sethia is simply inefficient as her EX2 simply costs more for the same attack buff. Her only real upside is the crit buff. Everything about how the EX1 works and her EX2 being 300 cost is simply a bet negative in the big picture.

This was fun to figure out. The bonfires have an extra layer to them with Dekaios around as they serve as bait. Something I really appreciate about this game is that welfares can actually do damage.
I'd rather them focusing on enemies you need a tank for than the dumb waste a good tile in a key spot on a bonfire or get fricked

I assume it's like the last couple festivals you have to log in to the festival page 15 (or was it 10?) days at the very least and the rewards and tickets are given at a later date. Usually a couple weeks to months after the festival has ended.
It seems the Roulette medals don't auto convert to points at the end anymore, so make sure to roll them, it averages around the same as the 3rd place prize is 15 points.

There’s still a guarantee at 130. You get Christmas Donatello. Christmas Raphael is at 250. There’s two units on the banner and they both give a bonus. The actual confusing part is that their guarantee order is set which seems like a big FU to people who want Raphael over Donatello.

They seem kinda mid. The oni and spider just sat around doing nothing while Miradora and Waemawa killed everything.
And the fox's skill looks good, but her racial trait is a dud. Gonna skip her and keep using Kazune instead.
opposite assessment from me. The oni seems good for a defender with a +100% attack boost for 50 kills. her problems are most maps don't usually have that many enemies, so she will almost never reach the full buff, and also her 1.8x damage at half hp will almost never be used since usually high level things just kill you in one hit. you would usually have a healer as well, so this will almost never see use. I never got to fill up the bar since something stunned me on the map and I placed down monks/ranged to kill the enemies that leaked through.
kokonoha seems INSANE. +160 attack per youkai ally is massive. support boost only goes up to +300 and bards give +100-140 depending on if the type matches. If you field 7 youkai you're giving a +1120 attack boost. Her skill actually looks bad to me since it does magic damage instead of true damage.
Kokonoha makes Ninjas meta. 160 attack for all allies for each youkai deployed. She's going to be core to any sort of youkai party going forward as well.
The new Odachi class suffers from being melee DPS in a ranged nuking game.
Kokonoha's pretty wild. Her racial even counts tokens, so you'll want to use the other new fox with her. Chizu's tokens only last 5 seconds while Miyo's tokens don't count since they're nukes.
If you're talking about the event maps, dark tiles stun anything on them during the haze.

She makes Eugene's arrrow rain tokens very strong and adding school Argyuro is basically a 1.5x multiplier for the buff (within her range). Very strong passive even with a half youkai team.

War blessing events until you buy all the war blessings. Otherwise no, not really.
Imperial events have an event shop, but they rerun all previous Imperial events and finishing the backlog of previous events will give you too much currency to the point you will have to waste it. The 4-star completions give event currency rather than SC and I haven't actually finished them all simply because there'd be nothing to buy with the currency.
There's also a very rare event type which replaces the star completion criteria with the amount of an event token you collect. This type of event is absolute garbage and it takes ludicrous amounts of stamina to fufill the thresholds to the point it is trivially better to just raise the event unit rewarded after the event normally. The event tokens aren't even used for a shop or anything.
Realistically speaking, there's just not much to use charisma on in general in Aigis besides resources if you need them, so I wouldn't worry about wasting them too much. I have a pile of like 200 food/charisma refills in my mail at this point.

Yesterday I managed to 1 star this with a guardian comp without her. It really sucks when that kind of team has low dps, no aoe, and no sustain to handle both the medusas and minotaurs at the same time. You have to kill at least 2 of the large enemies and all of the smaller ones to survive with 1 heart. No one's going to be tanking the 8.4k atk minotaurs for long without a healer, especially when dps is low enough for them to stack up. Knocking out the 2 medusas that take the alt path was the key for me.

I finally got Koharuko to 3 stars and tried the Koharuko loop with New Year's Venus and Helena.

All Koharuko loop requires is a high EX2 level for Koharuko and enough EX/EX gain equipment to reasonably fuel EX2s and accelerators to get the combo started. Having Koharuko's accessory mainly helps with EX gain.

Probably don't need the accessories but the EX bonuses from them do help out a lot. Makes it much more faster and consistent to pull off.
Just make sure to Unison as much as possible and keep the the 2 Pullers apart from each other when you're near completing the loop.
The current gold rush reruns in Aigis gave me more free rolls than the 10th anniversary did. The daily training missions not costing skip tickets is cool too, so I think I'll refill my charisma a bunch over the next few days and max out some of my blacks.
But speaking of leveling up, upgrading units is kinda tedious in this game. Having to grab silver units out of storage, level them up, and class change them before I can upgrade black units with them is annoying. I wish the autofill function for upgrading blacks would do all that for me instead of trying to use gold units.
It's an ass part of the game yeah. I ended up just not storing a bunch of the auto-30 silvers I rolled and just keeping them around in the main barracks if it turns out I need to CC some for awakening units. Still usually need to bring out something, but it definitely removes the hassle for whatever classes I do end up having on hand to class change immediately.

Do I go with Leather Boots?
1 star so it's easy to farm and at max level gives +20 Start EX and +10 EX Gain.
For filler, yeah, but starting EX is easy to get to a point where you're nearly full right from the start, so pure EX raise equipment is better after a certain point, but if your slots are empty and you're using boots to fill them, that's probably not the case.
I do have those 2 stars equips but haven't pulled enough to upgrade the rarity higher for the good charas though. My best Starting bar is almost at 2 so trying to get a little more so I can use Koharuko and NY Venus on the first move without needing to charge.
Yeah, definitely get some more filler EX gear then. I can start with around 3 bars for my fully buffed parties and I can hit max EX on the first move.
There's also a couple other charas that can do a loop like Koharuko's but their buff durations are 5 CT which means you need to put in more resources compared to Koharuko to make it consistent.
I hate that the score attack in the Boss Rush needs unleveled non-dps charas to get a high score so you don't kill them too early. D:

Don't break the statues. They triple the damage your units take for every one broken.
Both regular Ala and Dilio are very mid unfortunately.
Goddammit, I've been breaking them in every stage.
I thought breaking the statues would make something positive happen since only kokonoha was able to damage them, but it was the opposite.
Literally anything broke them when the event originally released and it caused Nips to complain. They're nerfed to be less easy to break now.

Niho, the red oni, and that wind user deleted everyone they came in contact with in less than 3 seconds.
Kill the Bunkos as they appear. Snow women cripple attack speed and target 2. Tengu can stun while Konoha targets up to 3 when at low HP. Hozuki also stuns, but is simply walled with a proper tank.
Simply drop all your ranged units first, two tanks at the top, and one tank at the bottom. Make sure to quickly kill at least one of the Bunkos. Snow women should be spawn camped at the top hut so they don't debuff your DPS.

Do you know how to acquire Iron Body?
Iron Body's from Gold Key Dungeon number 1 which is very unfortunate as earlier Premium dungeons are technically retired and I think now rerun on weekends in in paired cycles. One of the few things Nips complain about that I consider completely valid. Gold Key dungeons 7/8 or going to rerun this weekend, so I imagine it will be another week for 9/10, then 1/2 on the week after that. No idea why they retire Gold Key dungeons in the first place.
Scrolling through the premium dungeon list is awful for me, which I assume is why they trim it down when releasing new ones.
If that is the reason, then they really should just work on fixing the screen so they don't have to do these weekly cycles.

Man, I can't beat any difficult content in Aigis. I either lose to a horde of super bulky small fries that bum rush the base 20 seconds in, or I get destroyed by gimmicks like the boss reflecting certain types of damage or being invincible until 3 other minibosses are killed first.
And when I look up clear videos on youtube, it's all just people effortlessly beating the maps while only using a handful of heroes and seasonals (that I don't have). Sad!

The Minotaurs in 地下6are kicking my ass, my Chika cannot survive.
Is she still too weak?
If a Minotaur charges a unit without 3 block available, they're instantly blown away. Minotaurs only take 1 block themselves, so Chika can block 2 Minotaurs assuming no other enemies. However, as a Juggernaut, she's less suited to pure tanking than Paladins which have much higher base defense. If the Minotaurs aren't simply blowing her away, your issue is her stats. If they are, your issue is you need more blockers.
Kisana's a fire Primula who hits harder but moves slightly slower?
Dunno what to think of Mia. Her color scheme reminds me of Azel.
They both have 2200% damage(3300% with accessory) EX2s, so they both fight Ixillion for the fire nuker spot. However, Ixillion wins very easily due to her EX1 being broken. While Mia has a large attack boost on her EX2, being a speed type, she just has way worse base attack. Kisana's EX drain also seems pointless on a nuke EX2 since you'd ideally be killing the enemy already.
Kisana's EX1 has buff removal. That might be useful. However, I don't know what counts as a buff for enemies. If it could dispel shields or the shark's reflect, it'd be top tier for that alone, but if it's only stat buffs, then it seems pointless.
Mia's EX1 seems like she'd make for a decent filler character, but she requires a mixed fire/water party then which I don't really see a point to.
Really, their most major problem is the fact Ixillion already exists.
EX drain use will depend on if they decide to add the EX Bonus points for score attack rank in the future.
Also multi hit attacks need Criticals which fire doesn't support I think? You would need to use Sachi who is a water support.
Reaper's shield break is a buff removal, so Kisana should be able to do it too.

They do compete with Ixillion in fire teams, but you also have to look at racial teams.
There's no proper demon Ixillion for the new breed of race bosses with off-race damage reduction, so Kisana's competing with Primula until they get a proper Ixillion of their own. If you're running Claudia, then you've got a choice between xmas Yomi's attack buff on Primula or Sachi's crit buff on Kisana.
A fire/water mix works too. Have xmas Elaina buff your team up, then start a Yomi Sachi Primula Kisana Unison. Even if you can't generate enough EX for that Unison, nuking with both might be faster than stacking enough attack buffs to nuke with one.
Mia isn't really competing with Saran due to her low speed type attack like you said. Her only competition is Mone for Helena teams.
Apparently with enough stacks of Almotahel/Charlene's EX 1 or Sera's EX 2, you can just ignore the off-race damage reduction.
Now that I think about it Mia might be based off of Sera, a character that guest appeared in a EX Skill with Kayoko in SBX.
They're both fire, use dual weapons, team up with their Water friend, have the similar hair styles, and are part of the Discipline Committee.

Remember that Japan's timezone is far closer to when the day rolls over first globally whereas the US is where it rolls over latest. A person on the US West Coast is 18 hours or so behind Japan with the biggest disparity being among islands in the Pacific Ocean with some such early islands actually being a day ahead of islands to the west of them due to their timezone allocation being weird.
Timer for passive gold/exp starts as soon as you log in, so get that done when you can even if you just close it right after.

It seems to be immune to CC and movement speed reduction, so not really. Rushing down the two stealth magicians that keep it constantly full healed faster is pretty much all you can do to lengthen the time you can kill it.
I was dropping monks on them and still wasn't able to clear it with my old team. slotted in kokonoha and two youkai bards to finally deal enough damage to clear it.
Nips are going to shit themselves hard as these actually required the fact my party was well built and there's probably 4 more of them going by star count. They're also going to shit on the tickets to grind this event being limited. Probably have to roll the image to buy out the shop.
They also nerfed the non-paid gacha from a step(lol) gacha to regular gacha. Both have no ceiling but at least you can easily get *4 as a cope on the old step gacha.
